I get junk mail. You get junk mail. We all get junk mail. And when we get it from our mail boxes we want to throw it away. Sarah doesn t have a garbage for her mailbox customers. When I asked her to throw it away me she reluctantly took the mail and gave me an attitude. Bizarre. Her husband is just as weird. Well the post office does and so does the UPS store in Brewster. Now I get to throw away my junk mail and I don t have to listened to psych babble. . .
Decent selection- Zero customer service. Won't be back. Lost a customer over $3.00
Store wouldn't allow me to exchange a faulty item (large multi colored crayon) because I "used it" and they couldn't resell. As in, i made a few marks with a defective crayon. Unfortunately it didn't write- kind of important function for a writing implement. The saleswoman tried it herself and said, "but, some of the colors work." Ummm... not good enough.
They had plenty of other "testers" in the store- they could have repurposed the item that way, but no . In the end- I let them keep my purchase and I left empty handed as I was given no options.
I learned that they don't stand behind their products, and they aren't willing to eat $3 - the item's wholesale cost- to keep a customer.
I was returning a package and Sarah s was the only one locally that accepted UPS. I walked into her shop and when I started to talk, she puts her hand in my face basically telling me to be quiet. If she wanted me to be quiet, she should ve said it in a friendly manner. Putting your hand in someone s face is very rude and unprofessional. About 2 minutes later, she was ready to listen to me and I gave her my package. I asked her for a receipt and she said for a digital receipt I had to pay a dollar??!! First and last time I m ever in there!
I am glad I came across this little Gem, the owner was super friendly and very helpful!! They have a ton of cute gifts for the holidays, a great place to consider shopping at rather than buying online. Support small businesses!
My family is new to New Fairfield and I stopped in to ship some packages, my husband has also. Had no issues at all and have done multiple packages there. Also she has some really cute stuff. Store is organized, neat and clean. Wide selection and reasonable prices. Great local gift shop in New Fairfield community.
So many wonderful, unique items and the most friendly service! I could spend all day there!
I called Sarah s to try and do an amazon return. Sarah told me she could only send me a return label and I could print it and bring it In as she gets paid for that business . (Opposed to UPS store who scans a code and packs it and ships it for you) I don t have a printer so I couldn t print a label Sarah said to me well if you want us to be here for you, we need to make rent and hung up on me. I couldn t use her if I wanted too because I told her I don t have a printer . I was shocked any business would speak to customers like that.i will not Go out of my way to use your store when you re nasty to customers. Will not recommend or use .
My 1st & last visit. Terrible! the lady works there is rude & talks with attitude. I went to return a package already paid all fees online
I get it COVID-19 & you charged me $1 (drop off fee) ok but do not through my receipt on the floor??!! That s rude & unprofessional.
she deserves zero stars! Never again!
Try another FedEx location or take your business to UPS
an ebay seller used this shop to ship a very valuable piece of fine art via ups, it arrived damaged..
clearly it was not packaged well enough to survive ups shipping system.
Easy shipping and great gifts for the little ones. She has some nice jewelry pieces that you won't find anywhere else. A one stop shop.
