Santa Clara Drug "The Compounding Shop" Review

Very kind pharmacist gave me lots of information and I was able to send a pic of my prescription to them to save me a trip before picking it up. So far, great experience with this pharmacy.

If what I heard is true, they're temporarily closed but they will be back. Until this recent thing (they just up and closed without notifying anyone), I had only good experiences with them. They seemed like a professional and knowledgeable bunch. I had the same prescription filled at a veterinary clinic and my cat spits it out. When they made it, it was much more palatable. I understood that a Fire marshal notice prevented them from operating and this might have triggered a forced closure. I'm very sorry for all that happened to them and I will be back if they manage to pull through. For a small business like this, such a long closure may derail them completely... I hope you succeed.

This place really cares about your business and they are friendly and professional.

I went in this morning and it wasn't even 5 mins. till they had my script ready.

John and Vish are remarkable people and outstanding pharmacists. Its been a pleasure knowing them as individuals and as professionals. They have gone above and beyond to help me in any way they can.

Such a pleasant pharmacy to work with! They are very kind, courteous and do everything they can to get your prescriptions to you as quickly as possible.

We have a dog and it was sick. It was a hard to give it its medicine. I talked to a friend who referred me to this pharmacy. I asked them to make this drug as a suspension cause the drug was capsule. They told me that can do flavors too, so I asked them to put beaf flavor. I was amazed with the service and the speed. They called me back in 3 hours to tell me it was ready to be picked up.

Horrifying RUDE guy who charged on my credit card without my consent. The worst place you can ever imagine to get your compound medicines. The prices are ridiculously high. This place is mafia, the medicine arrived in badly packaged, reduced in size. Do not do not order from here.

I had my prescription filed on the day it was called in. It's been 3 week using the medicine and there is a visible difference. These people are so sweet and concerned. I even had a follow up call as to how the medicine was working!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best compounding pharmacies I have been to. Staff is professional and Pharmacist was very knowledgable. I needed medication for my dog. My vet called it in and I went there 24 hours later. You have to understand that compouded medications are not the same as retail meds you get at walgreens or rite aid. They are custom made for your pet and if you are not going to show up they will not make it as it will be a waste. It is specific for my dog. It takes time to make them hence give them 24 hours atleast. Great service and professionalism that next to none!

Our dog, Gordon, needed antibiotics sooner rather than later and the staff at San Jose Compounding Pharmacy treated me and the pup as if we were the only customers the had. They provided fast, courteous and very personal customer service. This is where I will get all my prescriptions filled as well as Gordon the Wonder Pups. Thank you SJ RX. I will

Smells like a old folks home very dirty the pharmacy mgr is very condisending and rude totally unprofessional wouldn't get medications there if ky life depended on it if you look online you will see all the state violations vthey have haf

If we could give 0 stars, we would! My wife has been trying for 3 days to get meds for her cat, badly needed meds, and each time they didn't arrive .... in spite of assurances that they would be DELIVERED! They haven't showed up, AND NOW they say they were shipped. We will never use them again!

I came in from out of town needing a special compound. My Dr. sent me here. They were so kind and were able to accommodate me in a timely manner since I had come from far away. They were informative and compassionate. They even called a week later to check on me. I really appreciate their customer service, I genuinely feel like they care about their patients.
