If you want to work like a slave and get only $8 a hour and like it when they take extra days to give you your check alternative staffing is a place for you..

This place is very prejudice when ask in work is in the city they state know. A few minutes later a Hispanic woman walked in asked the same question and she stated there was work in the city. I will be reporting this agency.

ILLEGAL LABOR PRACTICES.
They just SAID WE HAVE TO WORK 7 days ... 11 hours straight. REVIEW THIS FACILITY THEY ARE OVERWORKING INDIVIDUALS AND THEY ARE ENGAGING IN UNFAIR LABOR PRACTICES.
Don t apply HERE THEY DONT CARE, about you then make it so that you don t have an option. THATS AGAINST THE LAW.

Happy with this agency. The first day I applied, they send me out to work. And now, I'm a regular with my days n hours guaranteed !!! And I been there only 2 months mows. Thanks alternative for helping me out the way you did.

Very bad, they never call for a job, I came to apply again and since I didn't accept what they offered because it was outside of Chicago, they didn't let me apply having called since the morning, they just made me waste my time.

Assigned me and my roommate a job In west Chicago and told us to be at the agency at 6:00- 6:15 we got there at 6 and waited till 6:20 nobody was there. tried pulling the door, it was locked and no lights where on

Went up there and the ppl behind the counter were very helpful and wasn't rude at all. I didn't see or experience any racism. They sent black and Hispanic out to jobs. Just know the Times to fill out the app, or u will be waiting.overall it was a good experience.

got offered 8.25 asked for something a little better and gave me a attitude next day called in sent me out & was told i wasnt suppose to come in full of bs lied to me wasted my time & gas money very rude hispanic ladies & thats coming from a mexican they got attitude problems should get fired for treating ppl the way they do..

If I can give this place a -0 I would ! This place is a complete scam ! You can work for years with them and will always be temp and once they let you go on their terms you will not be able to file for unemployment and they will lie on your name and say you quit voluntarily just to deny you your rights to benefits. They will let you go two weeks before you qualify for vacation time so they don t have to pay you! Stay away from this place ! They are a scam and will milk you dry !!

Honestly wish they could fire most of them who work there they are very rasict towards blacks and rude don t look like they wanna help anyone I was told they couldn t take my Application because it was already 20 people of ahead of me but I arrived there at the time they told me to not my fault that a lot of people came to sign up just a big waste of time beware!!!

I work with them for 1 month the assignment they gave me was okay I was getting 10.00 a hr. But after the assignment was up they only contacted me for one other assignment after that.Have not gotten a call from them since but my experience was okay

Soooooooo racist, they send all the BLACK people out 30 miles away for 8.25 an hour. They never have jobs in Chicago . But I bet they place all the they people walking distance from home . I REALLY HATE THIS PLACE !!!! THEY PLAY GAMES WITH BLACK PEOPLE !!!!!!!!

They are really nice people I'm a Cuban with respect for these women they work hard and they have long hard days with people that go in and being loud and very disrespectful many people are saying they are Hispanic and all women and very rude and inconsiderate of those who are there trying to help you get a job these women are kind I don't know any of them but the way they call and talk to people is the way you all treat them so they will treat you the same if your respectful and kind they will be like that they will put a smile on your face if you put a smile on there face

I went with my mom to apply and the employees were very helpful even though it was crowded we received great service.

Very disorganized I got send to the job site they told me wi will report your hours to your temp I called the temp and they told me you ok I try to get my paycheck temp tells me your your hours are missing we are not going to pay you I try to talk to the supervisor she dindt want to talk if you want to work for free try this temp the staff is all Spanish

They kept on telling me that they will have a mail sorting job for me. Kept on telling me to call back everyday. After a week of calling, they told me production is slow and they can t help me anymore. I was told to come in for an interview at 3 PM. I arrived 15 min prior and waited over an hour to even talk to someone. Wasted my time. After I told them I m pregnant and have bills to pay.

Very rude no acknowledgement of anyone coming through the doors. Very judgemental and ignorant would not be going back. And all Hispanic women with very ignorant attitudes.

evry one go smelling bad like if they haven shower for day s after days. i can't even walk in their or out without catching a drift of someone's bad high weedsmell or even a sthinki dresses their carry on.

Came here 3 years ago didnt like it. They make all the blacks work for 8/hr. I quit the same day also because they like to send us blacks out very far distance but all the mexicans get to stay in the city

They are very unprofessional you talk to them over the phone they tell you its work come on in and when you get there so there's no work I'm sorry try again tomorrow sometimes I wonder if I speak Spanish or is a Mexican maybe I will go out to work

Too bad the girl in the office glasses did not want to give application to a girl who was walking away with her child and was very cold, even though she insisted she did not want to give the application she arrived at 03:35 and did not He wanted to give the application only give applications from Monday to Thursday only one hour from 9am to 10am and from 3pm to 4pm very late

This place is ridiculous very unprofessional, was sent out for work and the fact that the lady gave me the wrong number to who I had to call I was sitting at the place for about 30 mins calling the wrong number she waits till the last min to give me the right number and the lady was clearly no help at all to helping me find the building and I was sitting there waiting & driving around I felt like they gave me the wrong address and all they could tell me was to go home waste of time & gas just to send me home when y all could of helped a little bit more to find the right building.

I have read about this place and honestly it is the complete opposite! the staff is amazing, i have sent family members and they are currently working!

Since i started working with Alternative. Staffing 8 months ago i have been working steady and i enjoy working where im working and i get treated good.

This is not a fair and equal opportunity place for Blacks. They send out more Hispanics and have the African Americans sitting there all day. Call and tell someone to be there at 4am only to sit there for hours and not send them out to work.

Keep consistent work,transportation just needs to be better

I was having an issue with this company and it was fixed with a single e-mail! I am extremely happy with the outcome and the fact that my issue was handled so quickly. I honestly was not expecting this outcome. I am grateful to be starting my new job about a week from now If you all are having any type of issues send an e-mail to the owner and I promise you she will fix it! I'm filled with so much gratitude; now it's time to mentally prepare to be a full-time employee.

They are liars! I called to apply with them and they told me that they had 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift for the popcorn and when I got to the office to apply they told me that they did not have for the popcorn that they only had for a company on 3rd shift that paid 9 dlls per hour And they didn't let me apply that if I wanted to apply I had to go to that company for 9 dlls an hour. THEY JUST MADE ME WASTE MY TIME. Why do they say that if they have one to apply for a company and when you are there they tell you no that only for one company and you cannot even apply for when there is where you want to go.

I had an interview at a specific time, came early, and they proceeded to make me wait an hour. The interviewer was late, and kept the door open while interviewing candidates. After my meeting ended, I had to speak to the admins regarding the job. The one I spoke to ignored me the first time I tried to get her attention, even after making direct eye contact with me, and was short and curt whilst speaking. This employer is very unprofessional, and I d recommend any in search of work to steer clear.

We let them know they put us down as No call No Show we call today for work the lady asked for my last 4 digits for my social & said it was work for 3rd shift than put me on hold & got back on the phone & said there s no work & hung up

Confusing. I went for interview for an position yesterday. There was an miscommunication issue. I returned today but I don't feel the issue was resolved. I applied for an company on the north side of Chicago. As I was leaving the office a gentleman next to me had received the orientation safety video. I never received the orientation safety video. I'll return Monday for an follow-up. The pay rate for position is reasonable and it's in Chicago
