I've had a spa experience, afternoon tea and now dinner at Sandy Lane. The first outstanding thing to mention is the unrivalled service. From the moment you enter the welcome is warm, the atmosphere is enveloping and you are made to feel so very special. An experience (whatever you do there) not to be missed

Absolutely incredibly nice stay and great relaxation even for non-golfers. :-) Monkeys were running around freely on the golf course, which you would certainly not see anywhere else in the world, not for nothing also called Green Monkey.
In the spa area, incredibly great massages and the sea simply invites you to relax and enjoy the fantastic weather.
If you want to relax, you should definitely book a stay and be amazed.

Great service, went for breakfast and it was way beyond anything I expected. The staff were amazing and the quality of food superb. The only drawback were the birds as it was an open air dining concept.

Wonderful high tea in elegant and scenic setting. 3 choices for level of tea. Mid level cost US $50 or so but very worthwhile for special experience. Service was friendly and exemplary. Free valet parking. Make reservation ahead, and mention any special occasion. These folks do it right.

First class all the way. From your greeting on arrival at the airport in Barbados, to the time they drop you off back there for your flight home, the experience is one of paradise on earth .
The hotel delivers a friendly & attentive service, where all your needs are quietly catered for within a calm luxurious setting.
Whether it s in the restaurant or at the pool, the beach or the amazing spa area, there s always a friendly & helpful member of staff looking to provide the perfect holiday experience.
This all comes at a price, but is a truly heavenly time.

My Family and I's experience with the staff at Sandy Lane was world class. The beach bar is especially great, and mostly because of the lovely staff and the awesome bartender, Ian! Ian was very welcoming and by the end of our trip, felt like a member of our family. We miss him dearly! Thank you to Ian and the outstanding staff at Sandy Lane resorts for making our time in Barbados perfectly memorable, and for all the right reasons. I will 100% choose this resort if I ever find myself planning another trip to the beautiful country of Barbados!

Outstanding service from top management down to poolside staff, golf shop, restaurant waiters, etc. Hotel front desk and Concierge services were best I've encountered, arranging and coordinating island wide outings, dining, shopping. Room was large, comfortable, and well appointed with quality furniture - not your typical hotel room. Room balcony was a full outdoor sunroom where we relaxed and had breakfast most days.

Stayed there a couple summers ago. Started out bad, had a leak in the roof the first day. But, It was the best thing that could have happened. Management upgraded us to the Penthouse suite!! Are you serious?! (I thought to my self) - The guy ask if this was okay; Ughhh...Well sure, sure I can deal with that (Had a hard time keeping a straight poker face!). We still talk about this vacation and it has been over 2 years. This is truly paradise. No words can explain this resort. We have been on several vacations to various destinations since then, and nothing has compared to this place. We now use Sandy Lane as the bench mark for resorts... Unfortunately nothing has come remotely close. It is a bit pricey, but worth every cent.

The hotel is not bad, the second time I would not go here. The beach is not big, there are a lot of stones, you need to be careful. The food at the hotel is American, I didn t really like it, we took a taxi to local restaurants.

We just returned from a vacation here and our minds were blown over how amazing our days were at this resort! They have thought of everything, and every single moment of our stay here was perfection. We are already planning our trip back! This was one (if not THE) most amazing property we've ever stayed at. Hands down the best of the best!

To be honest this place appears to have gone past ...

To be honest this place appears to have gone past it's sell by date, it could do so much better, rooms are slightly dated and the place feels a little soulless at times. If it wasnt for the amazing staff making good conversion it would be painful, as not many of the guests who stay here interact. Our lovely stay was marred by missmanagement of our departure which resulted in us nearly missing our flight home to London! If it was'nt for the 'practical' airport staff pulling a sneaky move by getting my mother to fake a health issue and thus enabling us to bypass a two hour queue, we would have missed our first and business class flights alltogether! Not acceptable when this could have been avoided with proper organisation, they have staff at the airport who clearly must communicate with the hotel regarding over crowding of the terminal. What really upset me was when I called the hotel and spoke to their duty manager he had the wrong attitude totally, they have not even bothered to follow up on my complaint despite my declinded phone call to Randal Wilkes!!! How to leave a bad taste in customers mouth!!
I am trying to be constructive and give credit where it is due but I a stay in some of the most epic hotels in the world and these guys really need to improve things, perhaps they are used to the same people returning all the time who don#t know any better?

This type of arrogance will cost them business, especially when they say that re-booking figures are down and returning guests are fewer...is it any wonder with this type of behaviour?

It appears that the island (lovely place, lovely people) is starting to get rejuvinated after being in decline for some time after the previous corrupt government's rule...fingers crossed they can get this island back to a world class destinatin again.

We stayed here 50 years ago on our honeymoon. Fabulous! Loved everything about it including the food. Bonus...Natalie wood was also there on her honeymoon. I ve been dying to go back but looking at the pictures, it was totally redone. The golf course was across the road at the time. We rented a mini mook to get around. How I d love to go back but the prices are unreachable for us now. I think the price of one night now is more than we paid for two weeks back then. Oh well....it looks gorgeous and I ll keep dreaming!

Sandy Lane is the ultimate vacation destination. We had a fast track concierge as soon we arrived at the airport who whisks us through the clutter to a waiting Rolls Royce. We had in-room registration which was delightful with chilled Champaign and fruit cocktail. Being English I loved the fact that they serve a full English breakfast every morning.
Everything about the place is pure perfection, from the views, to the spa, to the white sandy beaches, the multiple restaurants and bars, the floodlit tennis courts, and of course the personalized beachside service.
I don t golf, but if you do, you can play the multiple championship courses on the property. This place caters for your every need-and I met loads of fellow brits during my stay.
I can t wait to go back when all this virus stuff goes away. On a scale of 1 to 10.....Sandy Lane is a 12.

Visited the Sandy Lane Spa form my Birthday and has the best spa experience imaginable (and I've visited a few spas over the years! ). From the reception staff to the therapist it was seamless and i was made to feel extremely special. The treatment (Bajan experience) left me relaxed, noirished and wanting to do it all again straight away! The facility is first class and everything is thought of to anticipate your needs. I followed it with the most delicious lunch looking out over the hotel grounds ..... wonderful and highly recommended
