Sandy Hill Camp Review

this camp is the best camp anyone could ever go to. there so may games and activates. when my daughter came back from there she started to car and said " mom do u promise to let me go to that camp ever year because I am going to miss that place".

I went the first week back in june and this camp is amazing there is so much to do everyone is very caring and kind this is legit the best camp ever

I love this camp! I do wish it was a little cheaper, but my kids absolutely LOVE it. Because of the cost, they do have to give up other camps to go to Sandy Hill, but they say it's worth it, and they get to do/try new stuff. They always return happy and they don't stop talking about all the amazing stuff they did (outdoor living, sailing, paddle boarding, art, international cooking, etc.). They also learn a lot of independence, which I appreciate. And, I LOVE that there is no technology (1-2 weeks without an iPhone or iPad)! When it comes time for pick-up, they are happy to see us, but they don't want to leave. They're usually really sad when that time comes. However, thanks to technology , my daughters keep in touch with their camp friends.

I love Sandy Hill. My first year at this camp was 2017, and I felt welcome from the second I got here! No one judges you, and everyone is so friendly! They have a huge variety of activities to choose from. This camp is not like any other camp I've ever been to. You are respected for who you are. The counselors here are awesome and sweet. They are so willing to help you. Sandy Hill isn't just a camp, it's a family. The owners are amazing. The kids here are really nice too!

I have gone here on a church retreat 3 years in a row and I have to admit that it is my favorite part of fall.

My four children have gone to Sandy Hill since my now 22 year old was in elementary school. It is absolutely their favorite 2 weeks of the year . . .and ours too! They can't wait to go and they don't want to leave. The registration process is very easy, as is communication with the staff. Drop off and pick up are super organized. Amazing counselors and a great vibe. Sandy Hill is the best.

I ve been going for 6 yrs and I ve reccomended it to about 20 different people who all loved it. Hands down the best camp ever

It is SO awesome. I loved playing volleyball and doing the ropes course with my friends. The sunrise was also beautiful! :D

The place is wonderful to enjoy the time outside of the city. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I love seeing the beautiful flowers and plants. The cabins are clean, and the food is good.

Great Camp! Both our boys have been and it's always their 1st choice each Summer! The core values that this camp instills in each child is remarkable. Our boys come back to us refreshed and more responsible. Highly recommended!

Sandy Hill Camp is awesome -- this coming summer will be my fifth time and my first time to stay two weeks and I can't wait! The activities are really fun, and there are a wide variety of them. They let you be with friends you already know in your cabin but also encourage you to make new friends. I always make new friends every year. There are so many activities that you are constantly meeting new people and having a blast.

My daughter has attended Sandy Hill camp for the past 2 years. She is looking forward to when she can become a counselor in training. I was nervous the first year sending her away but she had the time of her life and I feel confident in Sandy Hill's ability to provide a safe and fun camp experience. I have recommended Sandy Hill to many of her friends parents.

At first I was not to happy because your can't have your phone. But I learned very quickly that it would be a great experience. My counselor Patrick Evans made my time at sandy hill the best it could have ever been he was there whenever my cabin needed him. He was very helpful and made us strive to do our very best in everything we did. He gave great advise, he told me to leave a dent in the world and that is a lesson I will never forget. Overall he will be a great role model and whoever has him will say the same.

LOVED IT! HAD ALL THE BEST ACTIVITIES! SAFETY, HOSPITALITY, AND COMFORT! GO THERE!

Just finished my 7th consecutive year there and loved it!! Clung to my bed so my parents wouldn't take me home! So many cool activities and I can't wait for next year!!!!

This is going to be my third year attending Sandy Hill, and I am going with a bunch of friends! Sandy Hill is the best place I have ever been to over the summer. It's right on the bay, there are so many activities to choose from, and it's overflowing with fun. If you haven't been to an overnight camp before, make Sandy Hill you first!

Our kids have had amazing experiences at this camp. It is extremely well-run, organized and offers a fantastic array of choices for all kinds of kids from the high adventure ones (giant swing/waterskiing) to those who want something calmer (photography, cooking, international games. We can nor recommend it highly enough. The other highlight is the wonderful energetic campers from around the country and the world.

awesome camp. me and my friend grayson went there and we fished, rafted, and a lot of more cool stuff. we are going for 2 weeks this summer and are so stoked!!

My kids have been coming here for over 5 years and they absolutely love it!! They get so excited when its time to go and beg to stay when its time to leave!! Thanks to the great staff and organization- we will keep returning for many years!

Our children have gone to Sandy Hill Camp for one-week sessions over the course of several years. They have loved every activity and event they've participated in over their weeks at camp. Meeting new people and new counselors from all around the area and the world has been a true highlight of their experiences. The camp staff is always friendly and caring. The entire registration, drop-off, and pick-up experience for parents (and campers) is so streamlined and efficient. Our family highly recommends a week or two at Sandy Hill Camp!!

A direct quote from my 6th Grader: "An amazing camp -- it has the good feelings of a camp you see on TV but no bad things. You get to be with your friends and there are so many activities you forget you don't have a phone to look at." My son loves Sandy Hill and is opting for a two week visit this summer. We love the transportation home and all of the photos the camp posts while he is there.

Both of my girls have attended for several years and LOVE it!! Highly recommend! It is pricey but absolutely worth every penny!

This is an amazing camp! The staff are super nice and energetic. The food is great and locally sourced from Sysco. Overall, it's a great experience.

My daughter has been attending this summer camp for the past four years. It has always been the highlight of her entire year! Greg, the camp director, has created an environment of respect and consideration for others. All the campers have a great time with the fantastic activities, led by wonderful counselors! I never worry about my camper's safety, as her health and care is their number one concern. Each camper is treated as an individual and warmly regarded for who they are. I cannot recommend this camp beyond the five stars they allow, but if I could, I would!

When I went to work there in 2013, I was shy and quite. After working there I was more confident with myself and a happier person. This camp is the place that made me fall in love camps. Truly a great place to work.
