Sandton Convention Centre Review

Went for the joy of jazz concert and it was absolutely lovely and enjoyable

What you d expect for a. World class exhibition Centre. Nicely integrated into Sandton City Shopping Centre.

Attended a work function and it was lit. Great place.

You feel so important at this place...Whenever i visit this place, i feel like I'm in Dubai

Apart from a few escalators not working, its clean and efficient.

I have been to several conventions held at the Sandton Convention Center and everything is always fine star. The center itself is always immaculate, the bathrooms are clean, and there is plenty of space to move about. I personally prefer the esculators instead of lifts, so it is nice that they have them at both sides of the center. A short walk across the sky bridge takes one to the Sandton Shopping Center. And just down the road is the Gautrain station which I often use to avoid having to drive through in traffic.

Nice place for a convention. Parking is an issue but the location is impressive

Good facilities and in the heart of Sandton, Sandton City right across.

Sandton Convention Centre is world class, with a spacious, modern design. Catering is top notch. It is also within walking distance of the gautrain which makes it very accessible. I always enjoy events and conferences held at the Sandton convention center.

One of the best entertainment venues in Jhb. Well maintained place in the best area of Sandton.

Good place for massive meetings but access sometimes little difficult...

Excellent conference venue. Just a pity their was not enough parking

No clear visible signs for parking and parking exits. Other than that. Was good

DAY IF THE DINOSAUR DISASTER DATE!!!

Please can you provide contact detail for the organizers of Day of the Dinosaur for me to lodge a formal complaint.

We left all exited ticet in hand to attend the exhibition today 21 June 2014, arrived at the venue at 9 am, queued for over an hour in the main lobby not even moving 10 meters in this time and the queue now growing to out of the building down the street.

This is such an incredibile example of bad organisation, poor communiction etc. etc. I eventually made my way to the ticketing desk to ask how they are going to address this obviousy overbooked situation, just to be told that they are waiting on the organizers to provide guidance on if we can exchange the tickets for another day etc et, Well after another 30 minutes a single young woman came to the ticketting desk and was solely stamping tickets to be used sccording to them on any other day except tomorrow, no refunds offered.

This is pathetic, our enthusiasm has dwindled, how are they going to ensure we dont have another shockingly dissapointing expereince, if we decide to try again, comments like ' We did not expect such an outcome does not cut it, nor I am dealing with many irate customers you must understand' from the young women sent to stamp tickets for re-entry, surely some one in the organizing team should compare tickets sold to venue capacity etc, etc. Expect a Riot we left after about 2 hours and the situaution was completely out of control. Shame on the organizers, this SUCKS!!

Please advise, VERY DISSAPOINTED Day of the Dinsoaur disaster date. Who ever these organizers are they should be banned from EVER hosting another exhibition!

This is the best place for Expo's and Exhibitions. There is so much room to display all you have and want to showcase.

Neat and secure. There was construction work in the area which obstructed getting to the convention center. I would recommend the convention centre.

Good venue. However, the sound travelled between rooms and the food and drinks were ridiculously expensive.

The FNB Art Fair is a very good thing to go to if bored or want to take pictures or just enjoy your time taking in people's talent with a nice glass of wine in the good environment.

Brilliant! This is a well looked after place the management us superb and the security is fantastic for all events, including international events.

Very well maintained, clean and fresh. Friendly staff and very helpful especially the info desk.

Would definitely recommend this for all needed conventions for a great experience.
