The wedding ceremony & reception we attended there was very well done. The mansion was elegant & the reception hall was prefect for the event.

When we were looking at venues, we looked at everything From aesthetics, cost & functionality. The one thing we never expected any venue to do was to step up and act like family! Not just with kindness and open arms but sandlewood manor truly stepped up! Anything can happen on weddings days but it is how it s handled that matters Every single person at Sandlewood Manor stepped up in a way that is not expected from any venue. If it wasn t for the AMAZING Sandlewood staff the day would not have happened. They were the family members who arrive early to help set up, handle things without asking and stay until the bitter end to help clean up! You aren t just getting the most beautiful wedding venue in the Houston surrounding area you are getting a company who cares just as much as you do about your special event and who will do anything to make it happen! Anyone can rent you a space but it takes a special company to make sure it goes off as planned. Sandlewood Manor cares deeply about each of their clients and it s evident throughout the entire process Many blessings to each one of you (FYI this is my first review) :) Happy to have done it for such an outstanding group of people

Cancel the dorje us venue. We attended a gala with about 200 people the PA system was good mikes for the band were good lots of space for the silent auction a big bar. The only thing they need some outdoor lighting when you leaving after 10:30 at night because cars are coming up that long driveway and people are going out to get cars out of valet and there's no outdoor lighting. Otherwise this venue is absolutely perfect.

I was hired by the couple to be their day of coordinator at Sandlewood Manor. First of all, the venue is breath taking. It has a beautiful 'Manor House' for bridal suite and downstairs cocktail. You also have the option of staying over night. The new chapel is perfect and they thought of everything with the restrooms at the front, as well as two double doors for the bride and whoever is walking her down the aisle to get prepped prior to walking down in the AC. It is a blank slate to be decorated however the couple sees fit. The manor house has a piano and the venue has a great recommendation for the player during cocktail hour. (The MOB from my wedding was so glad they added this at the last minute.)
The grooms cottage has a pool and they are able to grill and swim while they are hanging out, it is so nice they have their own space that is not a closet (like a lot of other venues). It is also nice that it is not in the same building as the bride so she can freely walk around the Manor House. The 'Barn' as they called the big reception space is anything but a barn. The chandeliers are to die for and the venue provides all tables and chairs as well as set up and break down of them according to the floor plan you send. The venue comes with staff and if you thought I was babbling before, hold on to your seats! THE STAFF HERE IS AMAZING. The catering staff, the bar staff, the venue staff TRULY went above and beyond on every. Single. Front.
I want to give a very special shout out to Laura, the venue coordinator, for her attentiveness and responsiveness. She is super easy to get along with and very personable. She helped with everything on the venue side and was there anytime I had a quick question or needed anything.

If you're looking for a venue, please go see for yourself everything Sandlewood Manor has to offer, you won't regret it!

We went to a lovely wedding here. Some added signage would have been helpful. There are many outbuildings and we didn't know where to go when each stage of the festivities was in a different building. Also, it would have been nice to have some tall tables outside. The grounds are lovely and everyone wanted to mingle outside during cocktails, but with a drink in one hand and a plate in the other it was hard to enjoy the food. As most people are more comfortable outside in large groups these days, having some seating outside would have been appreciated!

I attended a wedding at Sandlewood Manor and it was wonderful! The venue itself is gorgeous! I loved the ornate details the owners included in the main house. I feel that they achieved a perfect balance between charm and elegance. The service was excellent. Everyone I encountered on the staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a beautiful setting for an intimate gathering.

Sandlewood Manor is an absolutely beautiful, stunning venue. I had my wedding there as well as took my bridal photos at the venue. They have a beautiful groom's quarters as well as bridal suite.

Beautiful venue with charm and style in abundance! The manor was beautifully decorated and made for an outstanding place to have a wedding reception. The ballroom was large and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! The other bonus was the outdoor setting of this beautiful venue! Horses greeted us as we drove up and there was a beautiful pond with a pier! If you are looking for a place for a wedding, reception, family get together, etc., check this place out!!!
