Took a road trip from Houston to see Matilda and it was every moment...The quality and experience was phenomenal. We had a fabulous time & enjoyed all of the characters!

I saw Mama Mia last weekend. I've seen the production on Broadway and at the Majestic. The Playhouse production rivals both of those productions. Don't miss it!!!

A great time and a wonderful production of Secret Garden. Do something different for a change!

Great community theater. Who'd have thought our neighbors are so talented. Have seen two shows here and was so impressed that I bought season tickets.

Beautiful theater and friendly staff. The play Elf was outstanding. My son had to see a play for a school project and he ended up loving it. Elf went far above our expectations. The cast was amazing!

My sister and her husband invited me and my sisters to see Newsies. It was wonderful! The stage performance was outstanding and one and all enjoyed the show. The acoustics were great along with the sets and the lighting. The young boys and men s performances truly enveloped the audience. Thank you San Antonio Public Theater for the performing arts.

San Antonio HAS GREAT TALENT!!! Disney's Newsies The Musical was amazing! Take the entire family to see this wonderful performance. Everything about this show was awesome-the singing, the dancing, the story. A must see at affordable prices. This cast was simply A-mazing! This was my first visit to the Public Theatre and can't wait to go back to see more.

George and his staff are absolutely amazing and all the performers beyond talented. I have thoroughly e joy every show I have seen there. If there is one theatre experience to have then the public theatre of San Antonio is it!!

It's an amazing theatre! The performance are always freaking awesome, actors are brillant and kind, and the cast will even mingle with guests on opening night(s) and events. The building seems to be reminiscent of an older, beautiful building style; however, it could use a bit more updating.

Newsy's is great in performance and energy. The ballet dancers are fabulously gifted.

Ample parking and a lovely place to chill over a weekend, mingling with the community and enjoying the talent!

This is a beautiful yet intimate venue. There are literally no bad seats anywhere in the house. The quality of performance really is quite outstanding. Ive been to a number of shows here. Newsies had been my favorite so far, but they've all been very well done. Looking forward to going back again.

Great theatre. Perfectly sized and historic. Got awesome seats at a great price. We saw, "A gentleman's guide to love and murder." The play was very well produced and we enjoyed it a lot.

These actors seriously know their craft! This is a small, intimate affair - the room seats only about 50 people, in a semicircle around the stage. The setup produces an incredible connection between audience and actors. If you get a chance to see a play here, take it!

I've been to a few plays here, and the acoustics are wonderful! It's definitely a comfortable place to enjoy theater arts!

I saw the original cast of Rent 20 years ago and this community theatre DID NOT disappoint in their rendition. No bad seat in the house. Excellent artists all around. Support!!

I thought this was a very nice theatre. The only thing that surprised me were the drink prices. My partner and I each got 2 drinks and it cost as much as a ticket!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Grease experience. The cast knows how to entertain the audience.

What a wonderful place to visit the play Mary Poppins was epic they even had Mary fly through the air my kids were so excited and as a family we had so much fun great place for family event I would recommend this place any time

We went to see "Mary Poppins", and it was fabulous!! The acting, singing, and dancing were terrific! Don't miss this! Most things I've seen there are excellent, but all of their offerings there now are not of this quality. Some of their productions do not interest me these days, but this one was absolutely outstanding!

Most favorite performing arts theater. Great musicals and plays. Easy parking.

Went went to see Mamma Mia and it was fantastic. The theater is very well kept and they were so organized. We were able to come in, pick up our ticket grab snacks and we're directed to our seats all with 8 minutes.

Cute venue, but the performance failed to impress. Perhaps it was just this production. I have heard great things about other productions at the playhouse.

The show Newies was amazing! The theater is just the right size. Hope they have more family friendly shows soon.

See about one production a year. Local cast is just as good - maybe better- than performances at Majestic. Located in beautiful setting of San Pedro Springs Park. Parking can be difficult - go early. But it is free!

Intimate theater with lots of history! We saw the Newsies on opening weekend, what a great show. All seats are good seats.

Great entertainment for a wonderful Saturday..My daughter took me to the theater as a surprise..Im older and have always loved live performances..My granddaughter accompanied us and sang along ..I truly enjoyed myself..

Mary Poppins was amazing. The lady who played her did a wonderful job and the actor who did Burt was terrific and for sure made me think of Dick Vandyke. His dancing and accent was awesome. All of the performers did a great job. Bravo

Have gone for several plays and will continue to go despite lack of prominent advertising and the need to rely on members of the cast to find out what shows are on stage.

First time here. Very nice venue, excellent performance of "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder." Sound & lighting were good, ample free parking.

Great theater with good views from all seats. They attract strong talent to act in the shows. There is a bar with beer, wine, spirits, sodas and water that is very reasonably priced. Only drawbacks are 1) Temperature is a little warm inside the theater (great in the lobby) and 2) Sound is a little low compared to most theaters I have been to. All in all, a great value for the money!
