The critical reviewers wrote that the company provides poor service, has rude drivers, and frequently delays or fails to show up for scheduled pickups.
It is not clear what people say about San Francisco Paratransit outside Trustburn, as the external discussions focus on general SFMTA topics like speed cameras and daylighting rather than the paratransit service specifically.

The price of fruits and vegetables are cheap but you get what you pay for. Other than fruits & vegetables the prices are high.
Very rude driver works for SF Paratransit. Yesterday, 10/27/14 at 3:45pm, I was changing lanes and this dark skinned overweight SF Paratransit driver (with License plate 1366074) starts honking at me, like I cut her off. Maybe she wasn't paying attention but I signaled for at least 5 secs and waited for a long gap to merge into her lane. I called their company to complain and the reception told me that their get a lot of complaints. The reception forwarded me to the complaint department but I couldn't leave a message because it hung up on me. I would not trust my elder friends and family here!
I don't recommend someone use this company, they don't responsible to costumer reserving schedules, the paratransit van always delay time, sometime no show up, and needs to call many times, but still delay around 1 to 2 hours, or no van show up to pick you up, beside that representative is very rough while you making the appointment. Today, my mom returned time at 1:00pm from dialysis center, no one pick her up, then I called 4 time, she waited until 3:00pm, still no van show, finally, she needed to walk a long distance to the bus stop to take bus. Very bad service.
If I can give them less than one star I would. Totally unfair.
This Service Abandons its Customers Over the past 4 months I have received a couple dozen calls regarding arranging a ride for SF Paratransit customer Gwendolyn Dedmond. Only problem is, I am not Gwendolyn and have never met her. Each time I tell the dispatacher this fact. The dispatcher tells me there is nothing they can do and I have to call the main office. So I dutifully called the main office and the utterly disorganized person there said she would look into it. However I still get calls for Gwendolyn Dedmond -- weeks later. So this is only a minor nuisance for me. But poor Gwendolyn must be still waiting for her ride!
The Hosting Secretary is Both cordial & handsome I might add
I was Treated to Very Cruel, Unfair Standards. I'm recovering from Cancer and they Cut My Account. They really made my life Much Worse. There are other people getting services from them that are no where near as Sick as I am but they still get service! Why? My skin is too light! I'm Native American! A Curse on them!
Went a bit early. We were finished and on our way home BEFORE our assigned appointment time.
They do there best to comply with their service for you good drivers are good to find and twenty four hours for reserved transport
I'm so dependent on you because of the type of disability that I had I have a traumatic brain injury and I do get confused and have gotten lost. Thank you for walking me and my mobility service dog cuz she likes having her own seat next to me.
This place helps people disabled truly, great staff working there.
I went there for paratransit assistance. The office itself, on the 1st floor, has a large waiting room. But it appears that parking is very difficult nearby. Be forewarned.
If i didnt need to use them i wouldnt lairs all around .
They finally decided to give me my extra money on the account monthly got it
I became disabled and since I was a senior, just downloaded the application online, filled it out, then made a copy for myself and one for my doctor before sending it in. They made an appointment for me within a month of sending it in. Met and interviewed with the eligibility worker. Within three weeks, received my paratransit card and welcome package. If you are disabled, cannot take MUNI, then apply.
The Folks at Paratransit are Life Savers! I would be Suffering Terribly if these folks weren't here to Help Me on the days when I just can't tolerate the Pain & Stiffness I have and just Can't Walk on my Own. Thank You Paratransit Services for All you do for ALL of US!!! If you're Disabled... You really should have your Doctor & Social Worker help you apply to Paratransit! They will make your life so much better! With Pro Transpo.!.
The staff is split up where some are very rude while others seem nice and receive customers with a smile and are hospitable.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency oversees transit, streets and taxis in the city of San Francisco, California.
San Francisco Paratransit: Providing Accessible Transportation for All
San Francisco Paratransit is a service provided by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) that offers accessible transportation options to individuals with disabilities who are unable to use regular public transit. The SFMTA is responsible for overseeing transit, streets, and taxis in the city of San Francisco, California.
The paratransit service was established in 1978 under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which mandates that public transportation systems provide equal access to individuals with disabilities. Since then, San Francisco Paratransit has been providing safe and reliable transportation services to thousands of people with disabilities in the city.
San Francisco Paratransit operates a fleet of accessible vehicles equipped with lifts or ramps that can accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices. The service provides door-to-door transportation for eligible riders who are unable to use fixed-route buses or trains due to their disability.
To be eligible for San Francisco Paratransit services, riders must have a disability that prevents them from using fixed-route transit independently. They must also live within three-quarters of a mile from an existing bus or train route and be able to provide documentation of their disability.
The paratransit service operates seven days a week, including holidays. Riders can schedule trips up to seven days in advance or on-demand if space is available. The cost of each trip varies depending on the distance traveled and whether it's peak or off-peak hours.
In addition to its paratransit services, SFMTA also offers other programs aimed at improving accessibility for all riders. These include:
1) Elevator/Escalator Maintenance Program: This program ensures that all elevators and escalators at Muni stations are maintained regularly so they're always operational when needed.
2) Accessible Pedestrian Signals: These signals help visually impaired pedestrians cross busy intersections safely by providing audible cues.
3) Low-Floor Buses: SFMTA has been gradually replacing its older buses with low-floor models that make boarding easier for passengers using mobility devices.
4) Taxi Services: SFMTA regulates taxi services in San Francisco and requires all taxis operating within the city limits to be wheelchair accessible.
Overall, San Francisco Paratransit plays an essential role in ensuring equal access to transportation services for individuals with disabilities living in San Francisco. With its commitment towards improving accessibility across all modes of transportations such as buses/trains/taxis/streets etc., SFMTA continues striving towards making travel more convenient & comfortable while promoting inclusivity throughout the community!
