I love going to this arena. Sports, raves, concerts; it never fails to leave with happy memories. Drinks and food are rather expensive, so make sure to pre-game if you're thrifty as well. Staff has always been friendly to me, parking is pricey but there is street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. Easy to drop off/pick someone up. Great venue, even though it is rather old.

Love this team! Going to a Gulls game is truly a wonderful experience. People from all walks of life attend and the crowds are really supportive no matter what the result is. Compared to the Chargers where there was a lot of grumbling about the older venue, Gulls fans are actually appreciative of the entertainment and a great night of fun.
Not actually gulls. It is a hockey team nicknamed the gulls, but it is real humans playing.
Real good hockey though, just not what I was hopping to see.
Btw, they have a flea market in the parking lot next to it, no fleas. Very disappointing.

Hockey in SD, what could be better? I'm a season ticket holder and there's a reason for that. Who needs the crybaby Chargers when you have REAL sports players in America's Finest City.

Woah! The environment was great! I can't believe they have so many appetizers. And who can believe the size of their pasta dishes. Would highly recommend! What a great dinner!
Hockey in SD! No more words needed. If you haven't experienced, try it now. It's cheaper than football or baseball and far more entertaining and exciting. You don't need to understand the sport to have a good time. GO GULLS!
The Gulls games are a great way to spend a night with friends or family. They also have a poutine restaurant in the arena that is absolutely amazing!
Very entertaining, take the kids they will enjoy it, sit in the middle and mid way up to see all the action, sitting at the bottom you will feel more part of the action. Buy pucks to throw on the ice to try and win prizes plus money goes to good cause. This is the AAA team of the Anaheim Ducks so some of the players have played in the Pros. Ask questions to other fans who know the game during intermissions. Have fun make some new friends and learn hockey
This is better than LA Kings or Ducks hockey.

The games are so much fun. The team works hard and leaves it all on the ice almost every game. The fans are passionate and mostly great people, the staff is amazing, and the organization as a whole does a great job of making the games exciting and fun. Season tickets aren't too expensive either.
They have a huge selection on their menu! Would highly recommend the soup of the day!

Lots of food and drink to choose from. The bathrooms were well stocked. Hockey seats were clean as was the area around feet. We had a blast!!
Great place to watch hockey. $2 dollar beer nights. Great selection of.food including healthy choices. But beware that purses and backpacks are not allowed. The do have lockers, but they cost $10 dollars to rent. They do accept small wallet size purses and clear bags.
They might still be fighting for their first Calder Cup, but the amazing fans in San Diego have made this team the highest attended team in the AHL. The organization hosts both players on contract with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL and players signed to the Gills themselves. Great action, great team, and a good team to watch for those new to hockey.

Worst ticket experience in my live. We waited 30 minutes because the system was down. Didn't get any free drinks and missed the first chapter. Not a good example for good service.

Impossible to buy tickets online. Tried for about an hour to get tickets. Easier to go to Anaheim.
Great place a lot of fun but really tight security like the kind that would not treat you as humans anymore. But good foods good beers and omg I'm inlove with number 14 kalle kossila is a a big whale in a small lake everywhere he goes the eyes kinda must follow. Great team you made me love hockey and feel what it's like to pay 15 bucks for a freaking parking but it was worth it gooo gulls
It's been exciting watching this team for last 3 years.
Although a minor league team, they are one of the few sports teams left in San Diego. The Gulls seem to give it a solid try to be a good, community centric home town team. The game was entertaining, although how the crowd cheered on the fights was a little disturbing and gladiator like.
