I've only gone twice for church food pantry but, pretty neatly organized and place is huge! My church orders ahead once a month and they have a cold section for free items that we can get some extra stuff for the Pantry! You take your receipt inside they tell you which spot to park in and they bring pallet out for you to load! Reality is that it's pretty simple! But, it's a real drive from Converse !

Give them money. For the dollar you spend on a can to donate Eric can get a full box. It's brilliantly run, and I trust them more with my charitable dollars than I trust myself. Highly efficient caring.

This place is great dropped off some canned items for the company i work for and they really are an honest bunch of folks working there. The facility was clean and looked great the staff was very helpful unloaded all of the boxes and wouldn't let me help any then went inside to get my receipt and laughed and joked with them in there. All in all the place and the people running the SAFB are amazing. Keep up the good work guys.

To start it all I had to register prior going to the food thrive in Traders Village Flea Market and I was told to have a valid identification ready. When we got there was a 3 mile plus of slow of a line just to wait to get in to the place. There were thousands of people which made me think not everyone was registered like me. Then we finally got into the parking lot where we had wait even more; we waiting in the car in the heat a total of 5 freaking hours. Honestly at first I didn't care waiting that long since we are going through such tough time plus on top of our own struggle the Covid-19 has us unemployment and stressed out with anxiety. Once I finally got there they didn't ask for my identification which confirmed my suspicions that not everyone was registered. Then I was told to open my trunk and receive the food. All I got was two two big sacks of potatoes, two sacks of ONIONS some in bad state. And one freaking box of celery. I don't want to seem ungrateful but this is not good enough to survive on. These are not real food to make a actual meal. We need real food and not a humiliation.

Horrible! Applied for benefits but declined because I make enough money supposedly. How idk I pay all bills on my own and because of those bills I haven't ate in days because I don't have money. But yet I make to much money. Body getting sick from not eating and literally throwing up water everyday.
