Very nice visit to do that happens by little train...
Very nice visit to do that happens by little train, interesting
Very nice visit to do that happens by little train, interesting
Very nice and informative visit. Quite detailed and complete commentary.
1.5 hour visit in April with the family. The little train went around the salt flats, the little ones were delighted with the tour, the parents had the explanations. We saw flamingos and we understood why this color. Very friendly driver. Big crush for the climb on the salt camelle.
Unmissable place and very good family walk. We loved it
Visit with the little train to do absolutely, climbing a mountain of salt with a magnificent view
No no no no, crowded, no respect for people. Do not go, you will only waste your hours.
A great bike tour guided by Fanny, it was awesome! I recommend it ...
Very good tour with commentary on board the little train.
Nice discovery just great we loved a nice family outing!
Do not miss this visit because it is extraordinary, a small train with a very nice guide makes you discover the salt marshes where nature operates magnificently its power of know-how ...
We arrived shortly before 3:00 p.m. thinking we had the little train at 3:00 p.m., but the success of this place is such that everything was full until 4.30 p.m., so we had to wait and unfortunately, a pressing desire arose, and there ... state of WC ... A SHAME !!! For both men and women! DEGUEULASSE !!! After that, we were able to take the 16.30 train. And we came across THE best guide in the area! A passionate person who tirelessly repeats his knowledge and his love of the place with communicative verve. And what a magnificent place !!! The guide is very accessible, it is a treat to listen to him, he answered all my questions meticulously and it was really fascinating. On his own he caught up with all the negative side of the beginning. He really deserves the public's compliments :))
Not recommended in rainy weather. Otherwise it's nice to be able to climb to the top of a salt dune.
Friendly. If possible reserve tickets in advance and provide sun protection
A beautiful visit to the country of the Whale. A nice little train and family. To do at least once when visiting the Camargue.
Home very average, visit of 11am via the train canceled because not profitable enough for them (thank you for tourists who sometimes make a long trip planning this time slot!), Nice shop but a little deceiving the tourist on the goods! (read the labels with the products and their origins!) In short damage for the organization and management!
Very informative, I had never done the visit before, but here I do not regret because I am learning very interesting things. To do
Superb landscapes, however in times of health crisis, I find it a bit light to fill the train to maximum capacity.
Micro that works badly in the train, guide obliged to stop to give explanations .. (thank you for the effort)
Nevertheless, guide who smokes as soon as the train is stopped (very average ...) and who asks for tips at the end of the visit.
Too bad because the site is nice to visit, especially for people who do not know at all the operation of a salt.
Site that I wanted to travel by bike (my own bike) unfortunately the prohibitive price of 22 only rebelled me!
A scandalous price for a ride with his own bike.
To do imperatively with a guide to take advantage of essential information.
Terribly dirty WC at 10 a.m., little train to wait half an hour late, with 4 year old child not interesting for them!
Very nice place just to advise very conscientious guide
great visit with Patrick as a driver, we go there with our daughter who is in wheelchair, very welcome, available for our daughter who is in wheelchair. Even the girl has the reception at the ticket level. We had a good time.
Poor quality reception in shop and poorly maintained wc, without soap.
It was just one of the most beautiful walks I could do!
Very unpleasant and cold reception at the counter, remember to book online because there is rarely room for the little train in the hour that follows.
There are four of us on a bench, no distancing measure in times of health crisis. The organization compares that to the SNCF measures, except that a TGV is two to three times larger. No disinfection between visits as claimed.
The small train tour offers you a walk up a large salt hill, a visit to a salt museum at the end of the journey but otherwise few explanations and a slalom between the different pools with pink water.
Without this original color, the visit would not have much interest.
The little train is great, besides learning how it goes the harvest of salt .... it's a real walk for children.
Mounted on the camel and admired the king's salinas with the dead high ramparts behind. ... gorgeous.
Saw this day harvest of the fleur de sel in VIP .... too beautiful.
It seems that we can also discover the saline bike.
Really nice to visit with a small train and a guide
Very nice discovery !!!! To do rather in the morning because of the heat !! Very pretty colors !!! Explanations very accessible to all !!! 3 appreciable stops to take very beautiful photos !!!!
To do in good weather - small train in 4x4 mode through the salt flats. Sensitive back abstain
Nice family trip in a little train, beautiful viewpoints, flamingos, and great Georges!
Beautiful experience for young and old. A unique show.
Beautiful, essential if you are passing through the city!
I liked the salt, the Camelles, the little train (Conducteur Thomas and his clear explanations) and finally I liked knowing where the salt that mom and dad buy comes from (Leelou 4 and a half years old.) For the shop and the museum, we found it to be a bit too much of a tourist trap (we are from the Gard) but we support our industry.
I have my 3 stars because the site and really pretty to see. My disappointments on the reception of the staff and the distance is not respected despite the covid four per bench a bit exaggerated especially with the current gentlemen.
The more the train and full the more it earns my money, it's not normal
And we heard nothing since we have no loudspeaker to hear what the driver may have said during the visit
Otherwise despite its the site remains pretty
Site not clear at all !!! You cannot visit it on foot during the week. It should be better informed.
Nice visit in the little train, very passionate driver-guide. Visit with very nice post for photo.
On the contrary, very unfriendly, unpleasant shop staff in sales and on the phone is a shame ...
They could have made the windows of the mini trains .... do you recognize me ????
Change their schedules at their convenience on the flyers the opening hours are for the evening 19:00 and 19:30 except that it is decided 2 weeks ago not to do the little train of 19:30
Thanks to the saline team for a simple return trip ...
Very nice and interesting visit. Plan to book in advance if not you risk leaving because full!
Very informative and great views of the Aigues-Mortes
A magical place in summer, guides in the train to the top of the good mood! Thank you Max! !
Unmissable visit. The place and its surroundings allow incomparable shots. It is also fascinating to make a connection with one of the oldest professions in the world, which can only be learned on the ground. The salt maker!
A bit expensive but worth it, the red color of the saltworks is impressive
Visit by little train, with a good driver, too bad the train is not maintained, the loudspeakers are screaming in your ears for 1h15 despite the driver's good explanations! No barrier gesture, just wearing a mask, no disinfection, by the way, the saleswomen of the shop should change their profession! We quickly realize that the whale is not only looking for white gold! At this price I strongly advise you to visit the ramparts which is 8 euros and where you can really see the pink water!
Beautiful site with a train ride very rewarding. The big downside is the organization where do not go without having booked in advance otherwise you will be good to leave. 2 shops on the site, one at the exit of the museum during the visit and another at the exit. Everything is good to sell the products collected on the site, which is good, but the big problem do not think do business because the prices are inflated (more than 2 times less expensive at the U market in the center of La Grande Motte). Really shameful then we could benefit from a factory price. A real trap for tourists
Great little train ride. Kader, a top guide: smiling, explaining very well and taking the time to answer our questions. Thanks to him ! If you are sensitive to respecting distance, avoid all the tourist attractions in the area
PS: in times of great affluence remember to book.
A must-see item on the list of attractions. You rarely see pink water or a pile of salt. The area can be explored by bike, tourist train ( 10 per adult). Duration of the trip 1: 15h.
Nice ride in the little train, even if during a stop to go to a museum, we were stolen our place. Beware :).
A great site not to be missed if you are in the area, you take the train to see beautiful views of dead eagles, flamingos, the museum and climb the camel that will give you a good point too view of the city and its surroundings
4 stars for the shop at the entrance of the site because I did not make the visit too hot
Otherwise correct shop a lot of various products and the fragrant fleur de sel is super good
Too expensive, absurd to take the train for 20 minutes around
Nice walk in the Salins ... So much salt ... We almost imagine taking a few steps on a glacier ...
A walking tour with a passionate guide. .a real treat. .thank you the salins du midi company the whale brand
It is beautiful this pink water! And it was great to understand why it is pink and how the salt harvest is done. All this thanks to a passionate guide, and more. We were even able to see some birds including flamingos.
Very nice little train tour and well guided by the driver who masters the subject.
The bike tour also looks nice with easier photo breaks!
Huge salt production center. Interesting for childrens and adults. Beautiful view of the ancient city walls. Explanations in French.
The history of salt embellished with a visit in the little train Very pleasant I recommend
We came in August. visit very interesting little train but unfortunately our train broke down. We waited over half an hour on the train in the sun without much information before another train arrived to pick us up. It should be noted that our little train smelt hot and smoked abnormally before our departure! We did not have the end of the comments of the visit because there was no sound and it was necessary to make up the delay ... We had to hurry for the visit of the museum. No commercial gesture has been made. The price of the entrance is expensive in the end and the obligatory passage by the 2 souvenir shops exaggerated.
Travel comfortably on small trains.
Communicate in English.
Very beautiful
This afternoon, a little train to visit the saltworks of Aigues Mortes.
A great tour with learning commentary from the driver. Really top
And despite what was said on another comment 2 days ago, I booked my tickets online and presented them to the driver of the little train on my smartphone.
I am satisfied and being from the region I will soon introduce this pretty corner to other people.
Beautiful waltz of an hour in the little train with a very nice driver .... I was somewhat commercial with the visit of the salt museum in the middle of the walk: a pity for this excess and unnecessary stopover purely commercial .... my children have adored
Small train ride very informative. We see full of salt, we go up on a mountain of salt and we can buy fleur de sel.
Super round trip. The flyer with info is enough for me. With so much sun, a train with E drive / solar panels would be appropriate. The lock sometimes pollutes the air.
unacceptable
Visit without comment because the speaker does not work.
Unpleasant staff
Very disappointed
The little train takes the shape of TGV if you have back pain is not recommended. The site is beautiful
Nice visit but do not lose anything because you will not find it.
I lost my cap during the train ride, so the next day I will inquire to find out if they found anything, they even take my phone number and coming out that surprised to see my cap on the head of an employee and more who did not care about me.
The people there are really unpleasant. You are very happy that we come to let our money at home, you would be what without tourists band of c .....
Shameful this welcome
Arrived at 3:57 p.m. for a scheduled departure at 4:00 p.m. a gentleman in front of us was refused access because less than 8 people
We all fight together so that the unfriendly person at the reception accepts to show us around because there are at least 8 of us and the driver refuses to leave when we ask him but why his answer is
" Because "
You make a living from tourism and you refuse a dozen people bravo nice mentality
Obviously we have avoided your shop out of the question of leaving 1 cent there
The comments seen just before for the unfriendly staff I confirm it to you
change it becomes urgent !!!
A very nice place to spend half a day! A nice tour in the little train that offers a bit of history, nature and curiosity among the salt pans of Aigues Mortes. The important thing is not to arrive too late because tickets are snapped up!
2nd visit and catastrophic, tickets reserved 2 days in advance and ... no place, priority for groups ???, 4 people on a bench set for 3. We had to wait for the next departure, despite our mishap to new priority to a group we had a place but, the quality of the sound deplorable, impossible to understand. Very disappointed
The tour of the Salins by train is very interesting especially if you have the guide we had, whose explanations were not without humor .. a real pleasure in a picturesque site with beautiful colors.
To practice absolutely even if it is windy, you will not regret it.
Very good visit the super nice guide we are very happy with our day I recommend this visit see you soon
Interesting visit to the heart of the sea salt production marshes. The visit lasts about 1h15. We start with a little train ride in the marshes. During this tour, the guide explains the history and the stages of sea salt production. He also shows us the different characteristics of the flora and fauna of these marshes. We then stop for about fifteen minutes at the Salt Museum where we find various objects related to salt. Finally, we end with a stop to climb to the top of a camel (mountain of salt), from where we have a superb view of the marshes and dead water
