Today I was in a serious bind. My wife's Mac wouldn't charge or turn on at all, and she had important documents and data on her computer that she needed. I made an appointment for a week out with Brandt at The Mac Guy since he seemed like the best in the area. I called anyway just to see if I could be seen earlier. When his 10am appt. canceled, he called me right away to get me in.
He diagnosed the problem within seconds, saving me a ton of money had I gone somewhere else. Turns out I had purchased a fake charger (not from Apple). He walked me through the exact voltage of charger my computer needed, and lent me a loaner until the one I ordered arrives. Brandt takes the time to let you know exactly what's going on, how to fix it, and how to keep it from happening in the future. Knowledgeable, kind, and professional. From now on, the Mac Guy will get my business for all future computer issues.
Best customer service experience I ve ever had. Although my laptop was unrepairable the Mac Guy still tried everything and communicated the entire process efficiently. Overall, I am very pleased and will be a returning customer.

Incredibly good service, and an *incredibly* honest businessman. Got job done at a *fraction* of the time and cost of what other stores were quoting me at, and promised and delivered a better outcome, and even did extra work for free because he thought my 2012 Macbook needed it. After a series of misadventures in finding competent repair for my iMac, I discovered the local Mac Guy. Brant came to my home, observing all the cautions necessary due to the present health concerns, and was able to promptly analyze and correct the problems that kept me from accessing my valuable research files. I plan to call on him for regular updates in the future and recommend him to any Mac users.
I seriously do not the amount of words for how much I appreciate Brant s work and expertise. I was trying to upgrade my MacBook to Big Sur without a backup. Keyword: without (stupidest decision). Big Sur s update would not progress on my laptop, and I constantly tried to recover my MacBook to no avail (I spent about 2 days worth with my boyfriend trying to get all of my pictures back and data, and also trying to get my laptop to a workable state). We failed to, and reached out to Brant. At first, there was about 10-20% that he could recover my data successfully. With this, I decided to give it a shot because I was at my wits end. Thankfully, after so much hard work, Brant was able to get almost a bricked MacBook working again with the new OS system. I seriously cannot thank him enough for being able to revive my MacBook as I have about a year left in school. Thank you for everything and I will always come back (hopefully not often) when I have any type of Apple problem. You cannot go wrong with Brant s expertise. Thank you so much again!
This guy is great! I spilt a full cup of coffee on my MacBook and fried the battery. Found the Mac Guy on google and after reading many good reviews decided to give him a shot and I am glad I did. Brant showed up to my house to pick up the Mac Book and take it back to his place to repair it. Got the computer back and its as good as new. Would recommend to anyone needing repairs or regular maintenance.
