My physical therapist is wonderful. She has helped me understand the big picture regarding my recovery and I feel motivated and inspired to continue the healing process.

My experience has been phenomenal! Huge thank you to Cal and Alex You all were so amazing. Healing, strength, confidence to keep pushing, pain management by massage, movement, stretching, just the perfect exercises . The staff and scheduling was super prompt with lovely reminders.

My son has a Nero Muscular disease.. he is 4 years old. We have been seeing Trent, sometimes Julie for physical therapy going on two plus years now. This place is amazing!! Hand down the best place in Salem for PT s. I couldn t ask for better people to help my little man gain as much strength as he can. Trent is the absolute best...My son is always excited to see him and get into the gym to do his PT exercises
We did speech therapy for a bit last year, worked with two amazing therapists in that department.

The staff all seem very friendly. Always greeting you with a smile and hello.
Bobby, In scheduling is fantastic!! Hes so helpful and friendly. I swear he knows all the little kids names! Very impressive!

Checking in on the machines can be a bit of a pain.. I would skip that and check in with the front desk people... sometimes even that is a pain and a wait..

My only bad experience really has been with the pool lady... she s not very friendly, and acts like the pool is a prison... she just takes the fun of a pool PT session away from patients, parents, and caregivers...

This website is spot on. Easy access to all divisions within this hospital.

Got a Pediatrics form and I'm an adult. Not sure how physical therapy is different for an adult or a child but I'll still fill it out and show up for my appointment. I've lost kids so this form was very very very insensitive on their part when I went in person to make an appt after getting a referral.

Outdoors... I like the shade and beautification foliage... but no edible trees in the area and no functionality of these landscaped plants the developers put in. Vehicle/pedestrian visibility obstruction.

Very knowledgeable physical therapists who seem to have much more diverse knowledge than anyone else within a 50 mile radius. Since I am rarely in Salem, I make a point to still come here because their therapists aren't the typical "glorified gym coaches." They generally incorporate 50% professional manipulation/50% exercise. They truly know much more than the bulk of PTs out there and I've always been impressed with their professionalism and outstanding staff. The new building is laid out in a weird way and the receptionists aren't very professional or friendly but the PTs are better than most and that is more important to me.

I had a bad experience with a rude scheduler (twice) - bad enough I decided to make mgmt aware.. putting that aside, the therapists have been great.. hopefully they've resolved the issue with front desk staff, since that is our first point of contact.

I have been a patient of Salem Health Rehabilitation for almost twenty years following a complex congenital defect from thalidomide. Not only were they versed in my care and management from constant surgeries, but they empathized and cared. Julie and her team are the best. I have been to many physical therapy places over the past 60 years but these people are the best. They truly love what they do and the aesthetics are also very pleasing and professional. I would never go anywhere else for care as this place has it all; and always with a smile. Thank you.

1/28/20 8:35am This review is for the receptionist that we spoke with this morning to make a cancellation. She was rude and condescending about our cancellation and said she would have to check if it is okay. ( I see other negative reviews about the receptionist / schedulers) obviously there is an issue. Must be poor management.

We will not put up with that, we will cancel WHENEVER we need to and if that is not okay we will simply take our money elsewhere and get a different company. Don't piss off the people that put food on your table.

Carmen the speech therapist is excellent she deserves 5 stars, unfortunately everyone at this location isn't as good as her.

Most of the staff is really polite except for the billing department. I had some issues with lapse of coverage, they were quick to call and said they were cancelling all of my son's appointments. I called my insurance and worked it all out, and then called back thinking that my appointments were gone. They were still all there, and I was stressed out thinking I would have to rearrange my schedule again. So if you never have to deal with billing, then you will have a great experience as everyone else there is amazing.

They aren't very understanding of people's situations

My four year old has been seeing Darin for occupational therapy since age 1 and l wouldn t take him anywhere else. Darin is great with children and makes therapy enjoyable for him. He has made incredible progress in the last few years and his surgeons are very pleased.
