Luther did a great job helping us decide on the best sushi!
The truffle shuffle roll was our #1 choice.
If you re looking for some great sushi absolutely give them a try!

We keep coming back as the food, service and price continue to be excellent. We came for Happy Hour this time. California Roll, Crunch Scallop, Yaki Niku and Ocean Bento. We enjoyed all of these along with a Grey Goose Martini and a Bloody Mary (always service with a bump). This is our favorite place.

Love Saji-Ya! I've literally never been disappointed here. Service is always phenomenal, great sushi and apps, and the absolute best egg drop soup I've ever had. I dream about that soup, it's nuts. Get the soup.

The food tastes amazing, I was really surprised. When I didn't know some ingredients, the waiter did a very good job explaining the tastes, textures and description of it. Everyone was nice and had good vibes to them. And for that I give Saji-Ya a five star review
The food left me feeling very satisfied and revitalized.

This restaurant is located within the same buildin...

This restaurant is located within the same building as Dixie's on Grand.

I would recommend making reservations for this restaurant at dinner time, especially in the summer months when the outdoor seating is available.

The hostess was extremely friendly and very quick to seat us at our table. The ambience is very quiet and comfortable, the tables are arranged to allow for conversations to remain somewhat private. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful, they will also provide input on the menu if asked.

I found the menu to offer a wide variety of Japanese cuisine and some great drink selections as well. The teriyaki rib eye skewers are very good, I prefer the teriyaki sauce. The same with the chicken skewers and I prefer the steamed rice and egg drop soup as well. The menu has much more to offer in terms of variety. I found all of the meat they serve to be of high quality and prepared very well.

If I could utilize chopsticks without taking a day to eat I would attempt but I do like to eat my food in a timely manner, the choice is yours. Regardless of how you eat the food is excellent, so enjoy.

Cheers!

Before Covid, I repeatedly met friends here for dinner before heading to the Roy for roller derby. We ve thought about meeting elsewhere but the food (so many savory options!!) and friendly staff just works for us month after month. I cannot highly recommend it enough!
