On website, when customers click on the email icon it doesn't work. The Chat link say you're the 1st customer waiting and have to wait 27 minutes. This high profit company has made it more difficult for customers to receive service during this Covid time when customers should have more options.

With all the profits made from customers' investments, how can a big company like Sagicor not provide life insurance services to Portmore residents??!! Your customers in Portmore should never have to go to New Kingston or Spanish Town when they have insurance policy problems that cannot be resolved over the phone. If I could give a 0 star I would for the lack of effort in joining other major companies to service customers' insurance needs in Portmore.
Maybe a few changes can reduce wait times. Like quickly responding to surges by deploying additional staff to stations that are unmanned.
My step mother used to work here. Selling insurance is hard work for sure.
Customer service was awful. The agent was also very rude

My visit was pleasant, greeted at the door by the security person who directed me to the sanitation station and offered me a seat after i took a number to be served.
I had a brief wait then i was served by an efficient young man who had me out of the office in no time with all documents copied and stamped.
Small office that seems to serve mostly seniors and retirees. Good customer service.
I was recently added to a insurance policy by one of ur agents, the policy was terminated and the refund was to be sent back to me after signing some papers which the agent offered to take to me and thats from last year....
I keep calling the agent to find out whats happening and she doesnt answer my calls instead she messages me after her phone stops ringing only to tell me i must come to sagicor in New Kingston and i live almost in Bogwalk and it was at my home that she came to start the insurance policy....
She wants me to come to new kingston in which i have never been to new kingston so i told her i cnt cause i dnt knw that side so we could meet at sagicor in spanish town....
Even up to this day that cant happen because she's not taking the papers to spanish town.......
I am very much frustrated by this because i went to sagicor to sign the papers and there were none for me there to sign..... My agents name is shanieka fearon and i would love if u guys could get to her and make this transaction possible.....
Ive been holding out from last year and if i am not angry and call her i dnt hear from her and thats stressing......
I NEED MY MONEY......

Cant use covid 19 as an excuse not to issue a physical policy....I cannot use use covid 19 excuse not to pay premiums....just saying
If you go early you can get thru with the teller but customer service takes a bit of time... convenient times tho
It was not good. I enquired on behalf of my husband and they told me that he personally had to call to make the enquiry. I don't have a problem with that, but when he called an agent told him that he would have emailed him the details. Up till now! Nothing has happened. They merely sent him a link, and the link is not even working, so our business is being spoilt. What happened is that he did not get paid for the month of June, but when he got paid in July, we saw from the stubs that the ministry doubled up and took out two months payment for the insurance for both June and July - and up till now, sagicor can't tell us whether or not they activated the insurance, or if the have not yet seen the money, or anything. This is so unfair, you have to pay three months in advance before you can use the insurance, yet still they cancel the policy within one month if they don't get payment from salary deduction. We want JUSTICE!!!!

The company is sloppy when issuing policy through third party.. very quick to take money but poor otherwise......distasteful and unprofessional
Worst customer service. I called just to enquire about health insurance and the guy was so rude and acted like i'm bothering him.
Your customer service is very poor. I just called a Shaneka and she put me on hold for approximately 15 minutes then when she finally came on I requested a call back and she was talking really fast saying she s unable to do so ! This is not my first upsetting experience with your customer service
Very impressive building structure. A few important companies including banks are on this complex. Attracts a lot of people and therefore parking can be a challenge at times.
Customer service very poor. Insurance agents maintains little or no contact at all
Too much time wasted to see a customer service representative or to pay bills. No bathroom on the first floor. Too few customer service representatives and too few cashiers for the number of people and not enough chairs for the crowd.
I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD FOR OVER 25 MINUTES!!!! SERIOUSLY SAGICOR... I WOULDNT RECOMMEND MY WORST ENEMY TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU!!!

I visited the location in New Kingston and asked a security guard who was sitting at an information desk for directions to the head office building. I was in the building with the Sagicor Bank. He treated me as if I was a bother to him and his interest was with his cellphone. Sagicor needs to speak to security guards that work or contracted to them that they should treat clients better than that because most times they are the ones you see first when you walk into a Jamaican establishment.
