I have had this company for almost 3 years for speech up untill about a month ago. They are the worst in that dept. No progress led us to a 30 day inpatient feeding program. Then decided to drop her for ST months later but they already told me before we went that was the plan. For the most part , I love their OT and PT so i give them 2 stars for that.
Sage Care is a leader in pediatric home health. Their staff and therapist truly care about our children's well being and they pour their heart into what they do. They put so much time and effort to ensure quality services for my children and we are truly blessed to have them in our home and lives.
I called hoping Sage would take on my son for swallowing therapy because he was choking on food, what a mistake.
They are incompetent, unreliable, however are VERY reliable when it comes to getting my bank card information but never made an appointment, never got me set up with a referral after being flaky like promised.
As a parent of a child with special needs, I can tell you that it s not easy to trust just anyone into your home, specially in the middle of a pandemic! Sage care has great therapists...I ve always felt so comfortable having them around my daughter and I m forever grateful for all they ve done in her journey for the past 5 years.
I have used this therapy clinic for years. My daughter gets PT, OT and Speech/Feeding. The only consistent therapist that we have is with PT.
Kyla is amazing and has been consistent in meeting my daughters goals and needs. She listens to me and respects my home and we work on my daughters goals together. I am so thankful for Kyla. She communicates with me constantly about my daughter. My daughter has improved drastically and I credit that to her hard work. Kyla is the exception. She is truly using her God given talent.
The OT and Speech/feeding side not so much. I wanna blame the office, but I think its a mix of both. Authorizations are never submitted and done on time. The office lies to me about the numerous times they contact our PCP to get Dr signatures and authorizations. This is really upsetting because then we go thru a lapse in time where we don't get speech and OT services for 2-3 months and longer....This is either because of the delay in their paperwork, or because they waited so long to get authorization, that the previous therapist cant schedule us back in.
I dont recommend Sage Care to any one I know.
I cant say I love all the therapist, because I don't. Some are consistently late and take advantage of me being home during the day. But I cave because its really about them working with my child, and giving me resources to help my child lead a better productive life.
What I will say is that I don't think that my daughter is supported in Speech and OT as she should be, but we are STUCK with Sage Care for now.
After three weeks waiting with not updates, not returning phone calls my special need girl still not having services. Since day one telling me they have therapist only waiting for schedule time... This answer was the only one I could get from them.
Not professional at all, not empathetic with kids needs.
Three weeks waisted waiting an answer after hip surgery needing PT ASAP.
Three weeks I could have services with other competent company
