Great product. Went from having to wait for developers to write code to enhance/extend our GIS to using FME and basically becoming a developer! The GUI is amazing and FME is only limited by the workbench author.

Safe has the best Extract Translate and Load tool on the planet. As a seasoned Geospatial professional I don't go a day where I don't use FME to solve intricate business processes and issues. I would definitely not leave home without FME, it's my Swiss Army Knife for processing, analysis and presentation of spatial data.
I have been a technical person the GIS industry for over 15 years. I recently (within the past 2 years) started working with FME regularly. I think I can replace all my other GIS software now :) I don't think there is anything that FME can't do... I just wish some of the other GIS software that I use would hurry up and get on the 64bit bandwagon :)
