Lovely place. They need donations of clothes for women and children, also toys, and therapy items. This place has helped me live again.

The worst place i have ever been honestly it almost pushed me back in the hands of my abuser I question weather it was worth the stress i went through they have no simpathy or empathy for families they arent supportive at all they dont provide cooked meals the woman are responsible for feeding the entire population if you cant cook good luck cause everone will be mad at you. Also you are responsible for chours every night meaning you have to drag your kids outside in the other building in the cold to do dishes also while i was there we had a snow storm no generator so the power went out it was cold and me a children were cold as hell and this is suppose to be a safe house the staff can careless about you please if you are trying to flee this aint the place at all.
What I got out this place is basically if you don't wanna move to one of our shelters we can't help smh
Went to Marys House on Union St Spartanburg SC. Bought afew things came home to find out that the hair dryer I paid ten dollars for does not work due to it being broken. No refunds or exchange was what I got told I've donated things to this store to help Safe Homes. None is broken or any stained clothes. Was getting ready to donate more stuff on Monday over 5000.00 worth of clothes shoes coats. Goodwills will get it
Nice people who work here. They also have a thrift store people can donate to and purchase from.
Their store is awesome. Very friendly customer service.
Thrift store has a good deal,...2 & 4 Friday mostly everything is a $1.00
I have worked as a volunteer here for several years and I always felt like everyone who is associated with Safe homes is friendly, professional and supportive of both their co-workers AND those needing assistance with issues involving sexual and domestic violence.
Only thing I have to say is they are locked up after hours and you will have to go to the police department on the opposite side of town.
That's not much help to a woman who is needing help and no transportation at that very moment.
They really need to have information posted on the outside and emergency contact info.
Great opportunity to help someone involved by domestic violence. There are friendly, courteous people who serve there. They have good means and opportunities for safety and to start a new, safe life.
The people really go out of their way to help kids!
I cleaned my closet out and donated the things to their thrift store, fairly easy process, just pull up and unload. They have some very good deals, the prices can't be beat. However, they do need better donations. There is a variety of things and the store is neat and clean. I will definitely donate and shop there from time to time
The staff there doesn't help you at all you have some nice staff and then you have some that are just devils
