I stayed here over Christmas, What a lovely resort, from the food to the rooms, the gardens and friendly staff. A five star golf course and plenty entertainment for the kids and I loved the Spa. I enjoyed myself and I will definitely visit this resort again,

I was not told that the back 9 of the golf course would be closed due to green repairs. Something that I would expect to be informed of prior to arrival. Secondly, the upstairs loft in the chalets do not have air conditioning which makes your sleep somewhat unpleasant (it should be noted that the other 2 bedrooms have air conditioning).
Other than that, my stay was more than pleasant and I would definitely recommend a visit.

What a great setting. Great grounds including a golf course.villas that are timeshares, spa, and lakes with one that has rhinos. Very close to Kruger National Park.

The rooms are very nice and modern.

The dining room is very good both for the complementary breakfast and dinner.

Really really great.

Really really great.

We stayed in the self-catering chalets. They are serviced daily, so no need to wash dishes etc. there are hippos and a variety of bird life on the property, as well as a 5km running track. 15 minutes by car to Phabeni gate into Kruger. Will definitely return

The staff is very friendly. Beautiful chalets, well equipped kitchen, serviced daily. You won't want to leave. The location is ideal, as most activities to do are a short distance away. We had an amazing stay.

Wonderful resort. Beautifully positioned to many great attractions including the Kruger Park. Well maintained and good service. Swimming pools in abundance and a kids entertainment program make it a great family stay.

It was amazing, the view you get at the resort is unique and their service is beyond five star. I really enjoyed my stay there it is a beautiful place that offer an array of activities to do from golfing, tennis and swimming to hippo watching plus you can book your extra activities at the reception area, that are outside the resort for a fun filled getaway and a charming, peaceful rest this is the place to go.
Beautiful

Fantastic staff. Lovely views.

Fantastic staff. Lovely views.
Definitely not a place for people who are vegetarians. They do not cater for us. On the 3rd night I asked them if they could make a macroni cheese. Worst I have ever had. Cooked pasta with no sauce. The top had a layer of white tasteless sauce. The other vegetarian in the group had a teaspoon of it and left it. I was so hungry I ate the boiled dry pasta. I am not a fussy eater but this was the first time ever that I experienced a buffet with nothing substantial to eat.

A 4-star hotel. Lush flower beds filled with a variety of mainly indigenous plants and trees. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was a bit tight with space but the comfortable 2 double beds gave a good night's sleep.
Shower, toilet and basin in the bathroom. We had piping hot water the first night but the next 2 nights the water took a long time to reach just lukewarm! We reported this problem when we checked out!
The dinner and breakfast buffets were varied and the food was good!
Unusually ,there was no safe in the room, but have since been informed it was being attended to.

Reception need to learn to smile. I had to ask directions to the apartment. No maps to show where we are and where everything else is. I missed the courtesy bottle of dishwashing liquid in kitchen. The bathrooms only had bar of soap. No small bottles of shampoo conditioner and body lotion as I always get at other resorts where I've been.
Gardens are beautiful.

Sabi River Sun is a beautiful resort. Rolling lawns, beautiful gardens. Convenient to all the main stores, and well as the Kruger National Park. Also close enough to Panoramic route to Three Rondavels. Perfect location. Greta staff, and service.

Great apartments, clean with decent cooking facilities though you need to buy everything consumable (paper towel, salt, oil, coffee, etc). Resort has amazing grounds, the hippo pool is always full of noisy hippos including babies in the water, and the restaurant food was nice. We heard the small crocodile on the golf course was going to be removed!
