Tutankhamun Exhibtion was good, although it was very over crowded in the Saatchi Gallery which made it hard to take photos.

Great for people who love contemporary art. You can still a laugh and share some fun even if you don't.
I visited Strawberry Exhibition. Want to see before the show returns to Egypt.
An outstanding exhibition that reveals the advanced place Let's find ancient Egypt with a combination of superstition, legendary wealth of rulers, close marriage and more.
Reflective on the current state of Egypt and the state of ancient empires such as Ion and Rome ..
I visit the gallery every time there is a new exhibition, and every time it surprises me!
Mainly I loved the current exhibition about paper creations. I found it very original, creative and full of colors.
Long queues, but worth it for the well organized exhibition. The VR experience was superb.
Saattchi Gallery is filled with surprises and a great learning experience for example a while ago they had all of these wheel chairs driving themselves but they where not colliding with each other and the sense chances all of the time. Central at Sloane Square with great shopping opportunities close bh. Usually not too crowded and it is free.
Was ok. A bit to modern for my personal tastes. Definitely worth checking out.
Once in a lifetime opportunity to view Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, most of the precious objects never having left Egypt before. This is a beautifully-curated exhibition, telling the story of the surprise discovery of the tomb of the "boy king", thereby granting him immortality according to the customs of the time, and confounding his enemies, who wanted him to be forgotten. An Enter the Tomb virtual reality experience, on the second floor, needs a separate ticket (which I didn't buy), but I'd recommend the audio guide as an accompaniment. Hope current health problems don't prevent mamy more people from seeing it.
Saw the tutankhamun exhibition at 15:30 today. while the exhibit was very good with the artifacts really showing the Egyptian culture and history beautifully, we struggled with overcrowding, despite the staggered entry times. Too many people were crammed in and it made it difficult to fully appreciate each artifact on display. Especially given the price of the tickets.
Tutankhamun exhibition was good except for the absence of the one item I went to see, coincidentally the item that is on every advert all over london, poor form, false advertising
Visited the Tutenkhamun exhibition. Lots of ancient artefacts to see and concise explanations. The display rooms were quite atmospheric. On the downside it was very crowded in places so maybe not advisable if you are claustrophobic or not tolerant of rude, pushy people who only appear to be there to take close up photographs.
Went to see the Egyptian exhibition which was on at the Saatchi Gallery I found it quite cramps considering the price of the tickets I would have expected to have more leisurely time to look at the works which were on show overall all not a bad
Went to see the Tutankhamun exhibition and it was amazing! If you hate crowds more than u want to see a piece of history then stay away but for me, it was worth every bump from a stranger to see these exquisite pieces. We took our time in each gallery, waited for the crowd to move on and had a good look and it was worth the eqait each time. 200% recommend!
What a treat to have a beautiful modern art gallery in an equally beautiful central location and it is free! Saatchi Gallery always have interesting and thought provoking exhibitions. Definitely worth a visit. Cafe is also nice for afternoon tea but I prefer visiting the lively Saturday food market in the square nearby for some great artisan food.
Splendid gallery, free entrance and definitely enviable, both for the structure itself and for the location. To visit!
Tutankhamun Exhibition January 2020
A complete waste of money time and effort . I could hardly move around in the museum for so many people - too many people let in and very poor air conditioning . The exhibits were very limited - no death mask displayed . Also the way the whole thing was presented was uninspiring and poorly put together - My advice don't go !
The Tutenkeham Exhibition was very informative and well worth a visit. I'm glad we were able to see it last week.. As I fear had it been this week I think the trip would of been cancelled.
The Tutankhamun exhibition was well presented and managed. The in-house catering was reasonably priced and there was a good selection of sandwiches and other lunch food.
The exhibition is good but feel let down and disappointed. Saatchi expert advertisers your poster is misleading as it shows the golden king yet the public don t get to see the golden casket or golden mask . The virtual tour at an additional should be in the entry price -
very overpriced for what you get to see.
Glad I saw it in 1972.
As a structure it is a model of 'adapted for purpose'. Large works are allowed to 'breathe', and each room has its own artist/theme to examine ....which one may like or not. What is displayed is not the issue, that it is given serious space allows the public to examine works deemed to be saying something of some importance.
Big gallery with big artworks, free entry.
Trendy artworks i was looking for something better bit at least There was something cool.
Range of art. Some tacky some interesting. Always a free art magazine to pick up
Great little museum with interesting exibhitions. Also, the area around is very nice for a coffee or a good meal. Keep returning over and over.
London offers a lot from this point of view, if you like modern art you have to visit this gallery.
Gallery size is fit. 14 exhibition rooms, but pretty. Who likes art, must watch.
An absolutely fantastic private museum: excellent architecture and splendid exhibition, on 'selfies'. Creative, fun exhibition. Even my girls, who don't like museums, enjoy themselves.
Visited the gallery to journey through the archeological findings of King Tut's tomb. The place is grand and has accommodated the exhibition in 5 of its many galleries. Really a remarkable place.
What a wonderful exhibition. Well organised and not too packed as displays were well positioned.
Audio excellent
Attended the Tutankhamun Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh exhibition, it really is a must see. It's on until 3rd of May. Last chance to see the items before they return to Egypt.
Went there 9 years ago when it 1st opened and it was a quirky place. Still is.
Apparently it wasn't the day it closed, but I closed it.
Leisurely stroll, enjoying all kinds of art in London. A few that caught my attention, fab afternoon.
This gallery has very original proposals! And on the side they usually make an international food fair. The public is fun, varied and you can go with your children.
The Saatchi gallery is a beautiful building.the marshalling staff outside were polite, helpful and well organised.upon entry to the Tutankamun exhibition it was deemed necessary to have a photo taken as a momento, this created a further queue and as there had already been a wait outside it was a little frustrating.exhibits were well displayed, trouble was too many people made getting to read about the item and view it was not easy.there were lifts between floors, however the stairs were steep, galleries were not easy to flow from one to the next as they were reached along landings.staff indoors polite but sparse.
Tutankhamun exhibit is absolutely fabulous. Worth investing your time to visit it.
We visited the Saatchi Gallery to view the Tutankhamen Exhibition.
Firstly the gallery itself is just 5-8 minute walk away from Sloan Square tube station.
If you come out of the tube station and look for the Hugo Boss store then walk past the store with it to your left then you will come to the Gallery on your left.
There are security checks at the entrance where your bags will be searched. There is no food or drinks allowed to be taken inside but if you have a bottle of water closed then they just say you can take it in as long as you don't drink it inside.
There is also no flash photography or videos allowed to be taken. I just turned off my flash which is better anyway. As it would just reflect of the glass.
There is a cafe and toilets inside also on the ground floor.
The exhibition is amazing and well worth the money. There are over 150 artifacts from Tutankhamen's Tomb displayed in the exhibition. So amazing to see these along with the photographs from when Carter discovered the tomb.
I would recommend going here to see the artifacts which are in beautiful condition. As they will all be in the new museum in Ciro later in the year.
I have taken loads of pictures of the exhibits and descriptions. So you can have a taste of what to expect. I have probably gone a bit trigger happy and took pictures of most of the exhibition.
I hope this review and pictures help you and if it does please like this review.
Sign outside says free entry but can't get in without paying
Went to visit the Tutankhamen exhibition and it was great to see all the items which I have been reading about in books for years. However the experience was disappointing. We visited during supposedly off peak hours and the crowds of people inside were immense. We had to queue to look at each artefact inside and there was no room to walk freely from room to room due to the crowds. We purchased the tickets in advance, arrived 15 minutes before, but still had to queue on arrival, outside in the rain. The tickets were quite expensive too. The ticket office kept selling the tickets outside for timeslots, even though they were clearly full. It looks like greed of making as much money as possible, overtook everything else. I would not recommend the experience to anyone else.
Amazing place so many different events here.. great staff great location
Cool art, also great place to take a date if you're not fully interested in the art because some of the pieces are really quirky and good conversation starters plus its right in the middle of London so you can make a day out of it!
A very interesting, but it was so busy on Saturday 4th January 2020
I visited here for the exhibition of King Tutankhamun's treasure and it was absolutely amazing. All of the intricate detailing and well thought out items, for their time. I would also highly recommend the virtual tour, especially for people who haven't had the chance to visit the actual tomb. It is so brilliant!
Went to the 'We Live In An Ocean Of Air exhibition' which was amazing. Staff for that particular exhibition were excellent.
Always ahead! My favourite gallery in London. And is free entry
Nice, Clean and the layout is easy to follow.
Staffs friendly enough. The exhibition is not enough to grabs people attentions..
All in all, I had great day.
Brilliant exhibition well organised and very enjoyable.
Nice gallery friendly helpful staff ,well worth a visit
A lovely gallery with temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions are treated in a very conceptual and modern way, but with touches of the past and everyday. Normally the subjects that are dealt with are very different and there are likes for everything. Exceptional location in the middle of Chelsea.
Amazing range of contemporary art. Free to enter. Spacious setting.
Located in Chelsea, Newark. Saatchi is recognized as place for exhibition and its gallery is big with four floors that can be accessed with lift or stairs. It is a nice place in a nice area.
Can range from the epitome of artistic to a symbol of pretentiousness. Always interesting
We Live in an Ocean of Air exhibition is a great virtual reality experience
Very nice exhibit, very detailed and good informative videos as you progress. Quite a few people sent it together so feels a little tight but still manageable to see everything if you take your time
I used to love this place, great gallery with lots of free things, now it's completely sold out to paid events and not worth visiting at all.
I visited the Saatchi Gallery in December 2019 to view the Tutankhamun exhibition. As this was one of the last chances to visit the collection outside of Egypt I was certainly looking forward to it.
The Saatchi Gallery, originally known as the Duke of York's Headquarters, is a stunning building; well presented and located in a lovely part of London. It's Chelsea after all!
The exhibition itself, although highly interesting, wasn't quite as impressive. One of the major issues, as other reviewers have stated, is that they let "too many" people in in one go. This wouldn't be such an issue if people kept their manners intact. But no, some individuals still want to barge in front of you, even though you've been waiting patiently, as have many others. Jokers!
The death mask and sarcophagus are obviously missing but the other items on display are quite exquisite. The highlights for me were the beautiful bow and arrow case and the towering statue -- positioned at the end of the exhibition.
It's hard to believe that these items are 3,000 years old; they are impeccably preserved, and the story that plays out through the 5 galleries in regards to how the tomb was discovered is well constructed.
Overall, I would recommend seeing the exhibition, but I would definitely recommend booking a quieter time (if possible?), as the crowds are pretty wild.
Went to see Tutenkamun exhibition there, just brilliant!
Says it's free to enter both online and even in a poster on entry but it's not does charge entry
Good exhibitions, cozy space. I like to visit regularly for an easy stroll
Very good. But way too many people in there. Pushing, elbows, shoving ect. Spoiled it really.
A lovely Gallery in a beautiful setting amidst hustle and bustle of London. Spent our day learning history of the greatest Pharaoh and a brilliant food market outside (possibly a weekend event!) to tickle our taste buds too.
Great contemporary gallery. Recommended. Free entrance.
A very nice Museum. I really liked the gallerywall from Benjamin Murphy.
What a pretentious waste of space! Personal choice I know but .............!! Beautiful building - from the outside!
Went for the Tutankhamun exhibition. Not disappointed. The VR tour was very good. Gift shop was over priced for what they had. Otherwise very good.
