Tutankhamen exhibition itself is excellent but the experience is very poor because they wave in too many people at once (despite the high price). So it is a constant struggle to actually view the exhibition.

Visited the Tutunkhamun exhibition. Took the recorded audio guide option which gives lots of background info. The exhibits are beautiful. It is quite busy so be prepared for a bit of a shuffle around the various rooms, so relax, take it slow and enjoy

The exhibition was marvellous. The Saatchi Gallery was very good, although I have a few minor reservations. The entry queue was a little laissez faire, but passed without incident. Inside, we were possessed of the idea that the exhibition was in six galleries, only to find the sixth was the gift shop, which offered little of interest, unless you like Indiana Jones fedoras.

It was poorly laid out, overpriced and over-hyped.
A handful of exhibits mostly previously displayed in cramped areas.
The final display should have been the first thing seen, but given the paucity of good artefacts it hardly mattered.

We came here for the Tutankhamun exhibition in early March. We found the gallery quite exquisite on the outside. Went on a weekday evening and there was no queue whatsoever. Maybe everyone was out panic-buying toilet tissue instead.

The inside of the gallery isn't as breathtaking as outside. The inside corridors are all well kept with very little appearance of chipping or wear and tear.

The exhibition rooms are decorated differently and would require a reviewof their own.

The exhibition is over several floors and has a lift operating inside. There is a cloakroom too. I didnt use the facilities so i can't comment there.

I havent uploaded pictures of the actual exhibition as i dont want to spoil it for others. But you can find some of the gift shop pictures below. Things were outrageously expensive, even for a museum in Belgravia.

Interesting exhibition of Tutankhamen artefacts. Lift doors close too quickly when going in door started to close I now have s painful arm. I believe if someone starts to walk in door should have sensor so that it knows a person is entering

Really interesting and well presented display marred by having too many people in at one time so it was all a lot of jostling and shuffling around to actually get a decent look at everything. Try and pick a really odd time and maybe you'll get a better experience - 2pm on a Friday was definitely a busy time to go, but there didn't seem to be any queues when we exited...

Tutenkhamen was amazing, poorly organised and laid out. Fascinating but clearly a poor space compromise. Over priced and over busy but if you live Egyptology then this is a once in a lifetime chance. The VR is pricey but worth it, the audio tour is a total waste of money

I like art, but I have no knowledge of contemporary art or contemporary art. So I did not like it. I already had some predictions, but I was exhibiting the applied art beyond the contemporary .... It was difficult for me. I wanted to go there. However, the area around the gallery was very beautiful.
I love arts, but the modern and contemporary arts are not exactly my cup of tea. Saatchi gallery is showing a lot of applied arts, and it was difficult for me.

I went today with a friend to see the Tutankhamen exhibition. We were told to arrive early which we did. However, we waited in the rain half an hour over the given time. When we entered which was in a crowd of people we were unpleasantly surprised to find the over crowding in each room. Dark rooms with overcrowding mixing all level of people together between disabled, children, middle aged to retired people having very few seating areas, stuffy air were all part of the package. The audio was not up to date fiddling around to look for the numbers without being able to see the artefacts clearly.
Had the Saatchi gallery organised this more articulately then the experience would have been pleasant. The first gallery showed an introduction of Tutankhamen which made my friend felt giddy as the visual showing affected her vertigo and in an overcrowded room with seating for 4 people is hardly adequate. The previous exhibition at O2 centre was far more enjoyable to be in than that of the Saatchi Gallery experience offered. Such a shame in such a lovely area.

I m a London local, and this is my fave gallery by far. I m not a huge art person, but I do like contemporary and I also like no more than 1 hour. So this place has the perfect mix of both. PLUS it s free AND has an amazing gift shop.
