Went to visit the Tutankhamen exhibition and it was great to see all the items which I have been reading about in books for years. However the experience was disappointing. We visited during supposedly off peak hours and the crowds of people inside were immense. We had to queue to look at each artefact inside and there was no room to walk freely from room to room due to the crowds. We purchased the tickets in advance, arrived 15 minutes before, but still had to queue on arrival, outside in the rain. The tickets were quite expensive too. The ticket office kept selling the tickets outside for timeslots, even though they were clearly full. It looks like greed of making as much money as possible, overtook everything else. I would not recommend the experience to anyone else.
