Saas-Fee Guides Review

- Saas-Fee is a beautiful summer and winter sports resort in the Valais Alps
- You can choose from a whole host of mountain trails with this starting point
- for many of them, you can make the elevation gain easier with a cable car
- a frequent goal is to approach the top of Allalinhorn (2x cabin and 1x underground cable car "metro")
- there you will also find a revolving restaurant and lovers of skiing and slopes, which are open even in summer (altitude over 3000 m)
- in the picture from the town you can see the top of Dom
- other routes will take you to the company of marmots and other attractions
- interesting is, for example, the road to Britannia Hutte
by taking the cable car to Platjen
- You can reach Saas Fee by road leading through the Saas Taal valley from Stalden
- however, the car or bus must be parked in the central car park (only electric cars continue to run)
- You can cross the ridge on the marked hiking trail and go to Grachen, famous for its hydrotherapy

Did not receive any price information from the office in advance, Activedreams and Zermatters communicate more open and cheaper prices for special private tours.

Cancellation of the tour on our part due to questionable conditions and unfortunately no accommodation for the purpose of compensation or meaningful use of the day.

When describing our concerns after the tour by email, no statement or response from the Saasfeeguides office!

Good mountain guides who have the right tour for everyone. We wanted to go to the Allalin, but came too late and could still make an exciting glacier crossing through the icefall.

Family walk with snowshoes of 3h with our guide Lorie who explained us the traces of animals and some typical peculiarities on the nature and we saw chamois what a pleasure !! I strongly advise to be prepared before because many climbs and descents! Do not hesitate to take a guide to get off the beaten track! A remake without hesitation!

Emailed them, asked about heliski tour. Was offered private tour for 1500 Euro with no details what so ever. I asked to explain what exactly is included - no response. Asked again - no response.

I took part in a 1-day basic Ski Touring course with the awesome guide, Michi from Saas-Fee Guides. I had never ski-toured before, and have been itching to experience it. The course lived-up to and exceeded my expectations, and was precisely what I was looking to get out of the experience. I learned so much... how to use skins, the mechanics of touring skis and bindings, avalanche transceiver basics, general safety on the mountain, and much more. En plus, we found some amazing fresh snow.
Most importantly, I knew that safe hands on terrain susceptible to avalanches.

I plan to recommend Saas-Fee Guides to my friends and colleagues, and maybe one day I can take my father and brother out on a guided tour of Saas-Fee in the coming years!

These guys are fantastic! The airlines lost my luggage and Saas-Fee Guides managed to hook me up with another shop in town who was closed due to the off season but opened up for us. We managed to get all of the equipment that we needed and had a great climb.
