I am a subcontractor who has worked with Ryan Companies on a few projects in the Minneapolis area. I have found their team to be some of the best in the industry. They are knowledgable, realistic and are always there to help everyone be successful; whatever trade that may be. I know that their success directly correlates with the characteristics outlined above. I look forward to hopefully working with them down the road!

There is a lot of backstabbing within the senior management. The CEO does a lot of backdoor deals, including demolishing an entire design department so he could hire his kid from New York. The previous CEO, Jim Ryan, was the real heart, soul and champion of this organization. Losing him was a great loss on every level. It is unfortunate that a company built on Do the Right Thing and Take Care of Your Customers and They Will Take Care of You have been lost due to lack of leadership, workplace negativity, and most importantly, owners of the organization who don t walk the talk.

If you're in the Twin Cities looking for a job in the construction industry, run as fast as you can from these clowns. There are much better organizations to align yourself with who are far more ethical.

They lie to you and don't investigate when you're lied about. I have undeniable proof that their Superintendent Dalton Wallace is a liar and they refuse to investigate. If you are fresh out of college with no clue what you're doing this is a great job for you. Just make sure you always say that's not my job, and you'll fit right in.

Went through the interview process and connected with current employees through LinkedIn. The HR hiring manager was a great resource and all employees I connected with from LinkedIn had great things to say about working for Ryan. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw my application due to receiving an offer from a company much closer to home.
