Extremely clean, beautiful decor. Therese was so kind and informative about the services that I would be receiving and offered lots of helpful skincare advice. She is so genuine and knowledgeable; I immediately knew that I was in good hands. Looking forward to returning and seeing her again!
I haven t had any beauty services since before the start of this pandemic and I have to say that they are really going above and beyond with the sanitation and safety protocols!

Everyone in this office is amazing!!!! I ve been coming to Julie for about a year and love her suggestions and take all her advice and she always on point. She never makes me feel pressured and takes her time and explains everything. Coming during this time I also felt safe with all her precautions. I ve had fillers and dysport and it looks so natural. I will be her client for ever!

My first experience with facials. The staff made it very easy and comfortable. Some good guidance on treatments, without feeling like something is being pushed on you, which is super important to me.
Kate, who did my treatment, is younger and was easy for me to connect with. Will surely be back.
The location is not easy to find. Go in the side door of the building and up the stairs.

Let me start by saying that I have never left a bad review anywhere before. And, if could give management zero stars I would. Before I go any further into detail I want to stress that Julie s talent is impressive which is what led me to the company in the first place. This review is in no way shape or form directed at the nurse and her work/results whatsoever. I too am a business owner and know how important reviews are to people when researching a company. So it s a bit unsettling to have to leave this here. But I think it should be known.

Anyways, I had made an appointment for myself and my mother to come in for a consultation on 10/7. The night before our appointment we received some terrible news about a family member and even in that moment of trying to collect our thoughts and pack our belongings to get to the hospital i still remembered and took into consideration to contact them and notify them that an emergency had taken place and we could not come but that we would reach out to reschedule when the time was right. Not only did they charge me for the cancellation fee under these circumstances they charged us both in total of $100.00. I emailed them and said, we are in the hospital (and we STILL are) of which i can provide proof and it s not like we just decided to waste their time and not go to the appointment I would never forfeit my clients retainer in this type of scenario especially when it can be proven. The response I received was disgraceful. I was told that they UNDERSTAND that things come up and emergencies happen and that s why they have a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect. They have it in order to contact their waiting list and after that time frame passes they are unlikely to fill your spot. Well, let me just tell you when I initially called to set up the appointment they even had availability that same day if I had the time to come in. They had plenty of open spots. So it doesn t like much a waiting list to me. I understand a 24 hour cancellation policy but what EMERGENCY has a 24 hour notice? It wouldn t be an emergency if we had advanced notice. So don t tell me you UNDERSTAND emergencies happen. I was told if we came back they would apply our money towards the service we chose to go with. Well, I don t want their money and they can keep mine. I m sitting in the hospital with my family at this moment planning for the worst. They can keep our money. I m sad because like I said and I will continue to say Julie is talented but that policy is ridiculous under these particular circumstances. The fact that there is absolutely no remorse is a disgrace and that alone makes it a company I will never give another dime too. Sadly, this is my first negative review ever and I ll certainly be spreading the word. But for now I ll stay by my families side, help pay for the occurring hospital expenses, and give this money driven company their $100 at the same time. Be cautious of companies like this. When money is the priority it s never the right place regardless of the talent.

I've been going to RX Aesthetics since 2018 and can't recommend it enough! I first visited Julie for a Botox/Dysport consult based on a recommendation from my hair stylist. Having never gotten injectables before, I was nervous. But Julie immediately put me at ease, and I've been a loyal customer ever since! Julie takes a very natural approach with injectables - I've never felt frozen or fake. My results have been amazing - years ago when I first went I already had two fairly prominent lines in my forehead - and they have all but disappeared!

Over the years I have also had a few Hydrafacials here. I've had Hydrafacials at other spas in Boston proper and I've found RX Aesthetics to not only be more fairly priced, but in my opinion, to offer a more customized and relaxing experience.

Other perks - free & easy parking, super cute waiting & treatment rooms (although waiting room is not currently open due to COVID), and located near a Homegoods for post-treatment shopping ;)

Medspas are a dime a dozen in Boston and there are so many that would be more convenient for me - but I will continue to drive to Newton because they are priced so fairly, I trust Julie wholeheartedly, and continue to be pleased with my consistent results!

As if they weren't amazing before, the response to Covid reopening from Julie and her team is next level! They have gone above and beyond to ensure safety for clients and staff while still maintaining an enjoyable experience amid the precautions. If you are on the fence about whether or not to book a service at this time, don't be! They will immediately put your worries to rest and get you looking and feeling your best!

Let me start out by saying I ve been seeing Julie for a few years now and I have always been so pleased with my results and her professionalism. She listens to me and genuinely cares that I leave happy. Julie s extensive knowledge and pure talent will keep you coming back for sure! I am consistently impressed with the cleanliness of rx aesthetics, with that being said, I still had my reservations when it came to scheduling my appt since reopening after Covid. However, I ve been there twice since they reopened and let me tell you, their strict safety precautions will put you at ease. Between calling when you get there to be let in, the constant sanitation while you re in there, the masks and gloves and more sanitation before you leave, they are not just concerned for their safety but also for yours. You ladies are rockstars, thanks for everything. See you in a few months!

I love RX Aesthetics !!! I go there for Botox and Hydra-Facials and they are definitely the best in the business! They are so passionate about educating you about the products/treatments and I love that they do a follow up appointment to make sure you re happy with the results!! Highly recommend this team of amazing women!

I cannot speak more highly about my experience at RX Aesthetics. I wanted to have perfect wrinkle free skin for my wedding day and I came to the right location. Therese was amazing!!! I personally get overwhelmed with needles and Therese told me exactly what was happening and what to expect. I cannot wait to see my wedding pictures with a wrinkle free face.

Julie is amazing and a true professional. She is incredibly skilled and yields fabulous, natural looking results. She is very honest and would NEVER want you to get a service that you do not need.

She is, and has been, extremely vigilant with safety protocols during the pandemic. I have been going to RX Aesthetics for several years for dermal fillers and botox and recommend Julie, Therese, & the rest of the staff to anyone interested in their services! Thank you!!! <3
