Let me start by saying that I have never left a bad review anywhere before. And, if could give management zero stars I would. Before I go any further into detail I want to stress that Julie s talent is impressive which is what led me to the company in the first place. This review is in no way shape or form directed at the nurse and her work/results whatsoever. I too am a business owner and know how important reviews are to people when researching a company. So it s a bit unsettling to have to leave this here. But I think it should be known.

Anyways, I had made an appointment for myself and my mother to come in for a consultation on 10/7. The night before our appointment we received some terrible news about a family member and even in that moment of trying to collect our thoughts and pack our belongings to get to the hospital i still remembered and took into consideration to contact them and notify them that an emergency had taken place and we could not come but that we would reach out to reschedule when the time was right. Not only did they charge me for the cancellation fee under these circumstances they charged us both in total of $100.00. I emailed them and said, we are in the hospital (and we STILL are) of which i can provide proof and it s not like we just decided to waste their time and not go to the appointment I would never forfeit my clients retainer in this type of scenario especially when it can be proven. The response I received was disgraceful. I was told that they UNDERSTAND that things come up and emergencies happen and that s why they have a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect. They have it in order to contact their waiting list and after that time frame passes they are unlikely to fill your spot. Well, let me just tell you when I initially called to set up the appointment they even had availability that same day if I had the time to come in. They had plenty of open spots. So it doesn t like much a waiting list to me. I understand a 24 hour cancellation policy but what EMERGENCY has a 24 hour notice? It wouldn t be an emergency if we had advanced notice. So don t tell me you UNDERSTAND emergencies happen. I was told if we came back they would apply our money towards the service we chose to go with. Well, I don t want their money and they can keep mine. I m sitting in the hospital with my family at this moment planning for the worst. They can keep our money. I m sad because like I said and I will continue to say Julie is talented but that policy is ridiculous under these particular circumstances. The fact that there is absolutely no remorse is a disgrace and that alone makes it a company I will never give another dime too. Sadly, this is my first negative review ever and I ll certainly be spreading the word. But for now I ll stay by my families side, help pay for the occurring hospital expenses, and give this money driven company their $100 at the same time. Be cautious of companies like this. When money is the priority it s never the right place regardless of the talent.
