Temple is good but they ask for 150/- for different rituals. Otherwise a good place to sit and click pictures.

Temple is good but they ask for 150/- for different rituals. Otherwise a good place to sit and click pictures.
Loved the place. There will be some positive energy at this place. I visited ithis temple many times and i will visit in future as well. Evening aarathi is when you can get more energy and every person in the temple at the time of aarathi will be giving it to god
The Shiva statue is awesome. You can keep looking at Shivji forever. The big issue is that it is too much commercialized.
But people do not know that you can go in for free as well. Just tell them you dont need ticket as you only want darshan.
On busy mondays and shivratris it becomes difficult as they give preference to people with tickets.
People should stop buying tickets till they make single entry point for everyone.
The Shiv Temple, situated at Old Airport Road, Bangalore, is one of the most popular spiritual destinations in the city. Built in 1995, the temple is said to have the most powerful Shiva statue in the world with a gigantic 65 feet tall idol.
Worst place to worship..its just business place in name of God ..I recommend not to encourage such places
Totally money minded people without ticket no entry in temple
Good Spiritual for lord Shiva .. Best vibration of positivity by means of looting money from ppl...Omnamashivaya better just see the god n came... Dont go inside caves thy ll charge for nothing...Dont take ticket outside just told ll grab tickets inside but after going in just see the statue n get back...enuf...
Blissful temple with well qualified and friendly Priests. Nice and magnificent statue of Lord Shiva, Jyothirlingas, Maha Mangalarathi was awesome
The best part I liked in this temple are those high wisdom phrases written on the walls and the services they are doing to the society with the fund they get. They are helping the orphan kids.
Nice place to spend your weekend with Family and Relatives.
Nice place.. you want piece and pin drop silence..please visit here
One of the most beautiful shiva temple in Bangalore, visit and enjoy the movement.
Should go n visit in the morning or evening in summer.
For first time visiting... this is worth seeing.
They have an entry ticket for Rs.150( general) and Rs. 250 for special darshan. You can purchase flowers and agarbatti for another Rs50. Entrance is built like a cave.
The fee covers Privelege like milk abhishek, deep arpan, visit to shani temple and minor others. Also there are replicas of 12 shiva jyotirlinga which are worth seeing. In the center of the temple there is a huge shiva statue.
Special pooja for doshas can be performed inside and that costs another 100rs.
Shiva statue Seems Good, but the management charging Entree Fee Alone Rs.100 and every entry they charging Rs.100 . My advise just pay entry fee RS.100 Alone
If you are looking for peace in the Silicon Valley of India, then this is your sure shot destination. You feel connected to God. The beautiful live bhajans gives you goosebumps. You even get to do Arti at 7:30 pm daily. This is bliss!
Management was worst.....blaming visitor's with fake and untrue information like... "We can visit the temple with out any entry fee"....but ticket is mandatory as per their words.....don't trust them those who wanted to visit this place.......
It is the place where money is main.they collect500 rupees for each person.
Place is worth visiting.Except the caves, which are nothing but business.
One of the best places to visit in Bengaluru. Spiritual place to visit with family.
A good place to visit but avoid going on weekend. The kempford backyard space is converted to a serene place but it crouded. Tickets are unnecessarily expensive. 1000 bucks for 4 people. Lot of places the created in very small space. Not for regular visits.
Its a complete commercial temple.. dont go for a special ticket which they will charge around 250 each where u will get a book for free..
Great place to visit and a must, They charge an entry fee of 150/- which seems unreasonable until you experience the temple vibes. A must go .
Great place but keep in mind few things before visiting:
1. There are two types of entry first that is free totally, second which is for RS 150 in which you can experience all 7 dhams. They have built in cave like structure to pull up more realistic image.
2.Do not enter through main entrance other wise you are stuck and have to pay Rs 150.
3. There is a passage going in from Kemp Fort Mall from where you will enter backside of temple and do not have to pay anything.
4. In Rs 150, you will have a good experience and can do special Pooja if you are interested. You will get agarbatti, nariyal and some woods for havan.
Cons:
Through main entry point, it is very suffocating and if there are lot of people and you have to stay in line, it can get jam packed inside and if you are claustrophobic, do not go inside the caves or even through the ticket line.
Overall once you see Shiva's Magnificent image, it will all be worth it.
We Should take ticket for everything.. instead god, we need to pay for god .
temple is well constructed but don't know why they take huge charges for everything.
This is not a temple..just a place for making money in the name of God shiva..It will never give you a feel of temple..you will feel like you are inside a musium or an artificially created gallery..
They charges 150 for entry and 250 for special entry. No temple will charge entry fee..but here they do..giving money to temples is the person's wish..but here if you want to enter you must pay them..parking charge is 30..so minimum 180 rs you have to pay to enter inside.
I won't recommend anybody to visit this place..rather you go to wonderla..as both do the same business..
Paid and free temple depends what you come for.. paid includes darshsn to replicas of 4dham as well as all the jyotirling.. paid is a value for 1 time experience
This is not a temple. This is a scam to grab your money. Entry free range from 250-50 to 30. Yes. In the first gate they will say entry is 250. If u bargain they will reduce to 100. If you return back, they will allow u free entry ther, but again in second gate they will ask if u bought entry tickets, if not they will ask for 100 rupees entry, and if ur smart enough and can shout confidently that you don t want to pay anything and say u have com just for darshan, then they will allow for free, again they will charge 10 for each pair of shoes(nominal charge in other temples are 1 or 2 rupee), again ther is a third entry which they will charge 30(this is for cave kind of thing they build wer u can pass which is not that great)rupees, even here u have to say the same thing that you have come just for shiva darshan and you don t have any intentions to pay anything.
very nice temple ,please try to visit at the evening aarti time.
Very good place to visit
.......Om Namaah Shivay.....
Nice place to visit. Large statue of Lord Shiva and Ganesh are here.
Place is good but you won't feel the positive vibes. The temple management is worst and it is completely commercialized and they collecting money for an entry that too it is mandatory to buy special darshana tickets rupees 250/per person. I wouldn't recommend this temple.
There are no road signs properly to reach the temple
And moreover they have made the temple for only money.
Sure , I agree with other reviews saying they have made this a business instead of only darshan and there is no temple
Entrance fee is 150 bucks per person
Even half ticket is 50 bucks
Worth a visit, but it's more of a commercial place than a temple
Very peaceful and had a nice spiritual experince...
Pls specify while giving tickets to devotees, there are 2 types of tickets
Normal ticket of Rs. 50
Special ticket of 150
But that fellow even we ask for normal ticket he gave me special ticket of Rs. 150, we were 4 friends, it costs Rs. 600 just to take Dasrshana.
What if a poor devotee comes and if he is not capable to pay for ticket????????
U people are kept shiv Lings in in window Glass, keeping them in Glass showcasing them is not at all acceptable. A proper place and daily pooja should be offered.
What they did with us I percived it as they are earning in the name of God. Going forward Pls specify devotees about ur ticket system first.
Beautiful place to be at.
But the staff is trying to make money through selling tickets.
First they offered us ticket for 250 rs perhead, later we got to know there are cheaper ticket which is for 150, and again after asking them so much they said 50rs ticket is also available.
Why are they forcing to buy so costly tickets?this habit of them made us loose the respect for them.otherwise its a good place to hangout with family.
Full man made. Peaceful inside.Mainly for marketing in the name of god
Use to be a very good temple but now it has turned to be a business, for everything there is a price tag and doesn't feels like temple anymore.
Worst people asking just for money. No place to worship God shiva. Visit here, but dont pay a single rupee, you can get the darshan. They have made up a business of feelings & worship.
Peaceful Place , the environment make you feel good and relaxed ,, specially at late night or early morning.
Good place to spend an evening with senior members of your family.
The best thing about this place is Shiva Statue.. Its just awesome..
The idea of the temple is superb with everything in place to offer pooja. Rudrakhyas are placed and counted 108 times chanting Om Namah Sivaya!
The shiva statue is beautiful and one should visit this temple once. But don't pay package entrance fee, just take shoe ticket and nothing else anywhere. Just go straight to see the statue and don't listen to any ticket seller as everything else is worthless and looting.
People there will not inform about free Darshan, they will promote only 150/250 Darshan tickets.
Worth visiting the place although more then serenity commercialization takes prominence.
Good place to roam around.. And spend some time between the bangalore traffic. Entrance is just beside a mall and parking is in company's basement for which u will be charged minimum 50. Entrance is free, though if you want to see everything and take advantage of all the special activities their you need to pay a special entry charges varying from 50-250 per head.
Good place to visit but don't fall in there trap of doing paid Pooja as it's useless.
I think this temple is just business hub where people sit for extortion of money from innocent people.
I was asked to go for special darshan when hardly any line was there... Seeing ticket price of 250, I came back and now they were ready to give normal darshan for just 150.
Only difference was the entry to the temple was small for special darshan than normal darshan.
Further 150 seemed to be high as I was with more people and it was like draining the pockets. So, I asked them for another way then they gave 50 Rs ticket which was still high but was mandatory.
They by default never tell you about other options and start by selling tickets for max prices and only open other options when they feel you won't visit with those high charges.
