The third eye on your forehead, crescent moon on your head, your long hair, from where the gangas flow signed your ultimate persona.

The protector of both worlds heaven and earth.
The Neelakanda who saves the world from all kind of poisoning!!!

Guiding us towards the true goal of life : Self realisation, Moksh, Nirvana & liberation.

He who sees Shiva in the poor, weak and diseased really worship Shiva.
He who sees shiva only in the image his worship is just preliminary. He who has served and helped the poor. Shiva is more pleased with him than with the man who sees Him only in temple.

When you pray to the destroyer, the evil around you will be vanquished.

One super cool place that everyone must visit... It has different entry such like entering into a cave to have a look at the lord finally. The temple wont be visible from outside. You can just see a very small entry of a tunnel or cave. Be aware that the people there don't explain you about the 50 entry other than 150 and 250 entry.

But a trifle less commercialisation of lord shiva would have worked wonders for his devotees... too much of money grabbing from the point of entry to exit!!

Very much clean and maintained temple.
Yeah they charge from entrance to keeping shoes.
But in one place they organised all 12 ling and allow to see with basic Pooja in package.
Fully paid service
Few people not satisfied with paid service so they hi some other option such as u just have to pay only essential if I don't want to see their 12 jyotirling.

Just an ok place to visit. The place has a huge statue of Shiva and Ganesha. A dummy of all 12 Jyotirlingas and 5 dhams have been created. The place has a very narrow passage which is too cramped. There is a huge rush on weekends and queue extends on the main road. If you want to avoid this queue you will have to pay 250 and get in the shorter queue of special entry which is under the parking of nearby mall. Even after so huge crowd and high entry fee, very few people are there to manage the queues and people. By the time one reaches the open floor inside, he is fully exhausted. God forbids, but if anything goes wrong it can turn into a complete stampede and people would get entrapped as it has very narrow entry and exits. Do consider twice before visiting here specially with kids. They do not have even a baby care room etc.

Pricey at INR 250 per adult but includes a tour of all the statues and the 12 jyotirlingas in India shown as a representation of the shiv lingas at chaar dhaams viz. Badrinath, Kedarnath etc. The ticket price includes an audio DVD of bhajans, a bowl of rudrakshas to offer in a prayer to Lord Shiva, milk offering to a Shiva lingam and incense stick offering for a pooja. Good for a one time visit. You must use the Kemp Fort parking to park and enter the temple at a cost of minimum 50. The main attraction is the 65 feet statue of Lord Shiva.
