This place is the marine drive of temples. I recommend going there at night and absorb the quiet and peaceful serenity that the place has to offer. The Shiva statue is breathtaking and humbling at the same time.

Management is doing a business , they are finding opportunity to make money . 250 ruppees for entry .. passes each. That too much. And they don't offer prasadam and th u don't keep it clean too very dirty exit . The pnadits are just to make money . And very rude behaviour.

This cannot be considered as a Temple. Its like a exhibition or museum area having big Shiva & Ganesha idol. The entry pass rates are 50, 150 and 250. They will force you to take 150 or above price tickets. If you need to do all the special pooja, then only go for that tickets. Else, if you are looking for just walk through and pray (without doing the special pooja), go for 50rs ticket.

You have to ask them 50rs ticket. They will initially say that they don't have 50rs ticket. But ask for it..
If its too rush, they will say that, " 50rs ticket is over and 150 is only available" (which is lie).

Leaving aside the administration's total business ...

Leaving aside the administration's total business orientation and commercial mindset, this is a very good devotional place to visit with family.
The entry to the temple is deliberately delayed and designed to confuse first time visitors. A 250 special entrance, a 150 normal entrance is collected for the unsuspecting visitor. Though the entrance banner indicates a "free entrance" the ticket kiosk downplays the existence of such an entrance and insists on paying for a ticket. I had to probe regarding the free entrance and then was told that the commom area is only free. For the cave(man made) access fee is applicable. I had visited the place a couple of years back and it was not the case before. Anyways, the common area dharshan is pretty much sufficient to get the god's blessings.
Disappointed in the administration's intentional push towards commercialization and leave people without any guidance. To top it, the queue is deliberately delayed to build up crowd and make people choose special dharshan.

Place looks grand. All others look artificial. Setup looks like is made to mint money. At every stage people are waiting to take some money. Entrance fee is 500 for vip, 250 for special and 150 for ordinary. Followed by dharshan ticket which is 150. They give you jalebi at the end.

The statues here are gorgeous! That's where the beauty ends. This is less a holy temple, and more a tourist destination. They charge Rs.250 (!!) per person for access to all the areas. All the information is in English, even though most people who come here would be more comfortable with Indian languages. People are just taking selfies everywhere. Saw a girl do a nataraja pose for a picture there's nothing spiritual about this place. It is purely a cash grab. And they claim that theirs is the most "powerful" Shiva statue. Says who, Shiva? So ironic that this temple is so materialistic, and Lord Shiva represents opposite values.
If you want a real spiritual experience, visit Gavi Gangadareshwara temple instead.

Worst place to visit in banglore. Thought that its a temple so will be peaceful but it was totally opposite. They will take money from visitors even though it is written as free entry over there and if we ask they will give some stupid reasons. We thought its ok it will b worth of giving money but when we go inside they ask money for each and everything u want to do there inside. Worst place. Please dont go.

A very nice Temple. Good vibes and polite purohiths. The pujaris are dignified yet approachable. One feels at home in this Temple. Went with my little toddler and he enjoyed it. Good family outing too

Very divine place to pray lord Shiva. Best time to visit around 7 to 8 pm. Entry to cave is optional and would be charged 150 pp which goes to the charity for treatment of poor patients.

Beautiful temple. Cleanliness is Maintained to the spot. The cave gives a very devotional feel. The chant played in the background is exceptional n soothing. Pooja n other things are quite commercialized. But the temple in its own gives a Devine feel.

What an amazing temple in Bangalore! It's beautiful and there is a very systematic approach to viewing the temple and doing puja there. It's really one of a kind. You can take your time through the temple and really enjoy it. Go for it if you are in Bangalore.

Temple of Lord Shiva. A huge statue of Lord Shiva siting in meditation position is been erect here. Just situated in well approachable location, focuses on all holy location of Lord Shiva and benefits of meditation. One can buy passes for various pooja and attraction.. At last can sit in front of Lord and feel all positive vibes around. Must visit place.
