Its very nice at 3A.M no one is there ..they ask only 50rs u can go into the caves as much as u want..nice place for meditation at this time....try this one..God bless all
Nice place to visit but tickets are toooo cost.....
I have visited the mandir only for mahadev, ... Har har mahadev
Entry fees - Rs 100 n 150. If you want to access caves, u have to spend 50 extra. This place is not meant for poor people. Temple management is looting people like anything. Even one star is good rating for them. Only good thing is Lord shiva. God is same everywhere, better to go somewhere else.
Peace comes at a price? Beware look before you leap they can easily submit you into buying a ticket for 150 and you come out saying ok it's for god at last but think hard really is it god
This temple is an extension of kempfort administration. Even temple visitors are allowed to park car in Kemp fort garage. Rs.50/- for 3 hrs. Temple paid darshan is Rs.250/- per head. The temple is renovated to resemble kailash yatra. If the visitor truly intend a bhagavath darshan, I would advice to go in queue as there is no much to gain paying more. The statue is tall and worth a visit.
Every thing is commercial here. They put a board of entry free outside. But once u enter inside then they will insist you to buy ticket. Different prices for each category.
Dont go there
They are roobers out there.
You only see shiva idol, and they manipulate devotee to buy premium tickets
It is commercial place which is covered in only about 3 to 4 cents.
Go inside the caves is here and 12 jortiling is there
Entry fee is 150 per person
Child is free
If you are a spiritual person, I would suggest the motto to go to this place. They are just trading in the name of God and the Temple. All the priests inside the temple are egotistical. They are salaried employees in priestly attire. I think this is my first and last mistake to get there. After visiting this place, I was very troubled. So, I went to a small Shiva temple in Bellandur area, which brought me some peace of mind.
Wonderful temple, wonderful tradition, amazing experience, recommend it to everyone visiting Bangalore
Thanks You
Thanks You
Bright and well maintained holy place for worship and big events for your life...
There are many rituals which tells us more about Lord Shiva and his nobility.
Giant idols are vital attraction of this place.
Loved it......peaceful place I have ever scene awesome experience
Agree with Priyank, Tarun and others...this place is fooling people to believe that this is a religious and spiritual place, which it is not. They are trying to make money off of the large statues. It is fine if you want to be in the line to get a picture with the large Shiva statue but this place is not for worship.
Not a divine place...extremely commercialized...money minded service..people just visit to take pictures..sad to use god in the name of money
Good place for lord Siva followers. Design as like as natural one
Holy place but fully commercial and money minded people
A great example of What people can actually do In the name of religion. Felt really bad!!
Very commercial. Is more made to earn money and put advertisements. Don't go if you are on your spiritual journey
Its very nice place to visit. One of the tourist place in Bangalore.
Be aware of the ticket charges been applied by the local in shiva temple, actually you can opt for free darshana and see the temple. Don't pay for any money to people.
This is a totally commercial place. Cleverly crafted place into a temple to grab money from innocent people who come here out of there faith. But seeing all this I never feel like going to such commercially made temple. Hatsoff to the person who had this idea. 150 per head you will be charged to enter this place. This is just a Photography point.. Never go in the name of faith.
It is become complete commercial place instead of devine place
Very lovely place to visit with family .must go once if you are in banaglore
One of famous Temple of Lord Shiva at Bangalore.but more fee for entry now a days by management.
Commercial , You people doing business in the name of God.
200 for Normal & 300 for VIP.
Must visit temple in Bangalore ... OM NAMAH SHIVAY!!
Normally I don't give reviews to the temples, but today I am forced to do that. If you are a spiritual person, I will suggest not to go to this place. They are just doing business on the name of God and temple. All the priests inside the temple are so arrogant. They are the paid employees in the dress of priests.
I feel like this was my first and last mistake to go there. After visiting this place, I was very disturbed, so I went to a small Shiva temple in Bellandur area just after that. That brought some peace to my mind.
I am really sorry to say but it's a business centre where you have to pay to worship.
very peaceful place and its at a walkable distance from bus top.
Beautiful shiva temple for your spiritual evenings! They have shopping corner where u get pooja items and god idols. They have their own spiritual book store as well..
Spiritual and peaceful place to visit. But sadly people here are way too commercial
It's nice but too much commercial.. 150 per head entercen fee they charge.. not worth
Used to be good but now its just a shop where you can buy your blessings. 'Salesmen' everywhere trying to coerce you into buying Rs.250 special entry tickets every time you visit.
Detailed feedback/noteworthy points :
1. Type - Religious
2. Description -A serene, tranquil place to meditate.
3. Unique distinction -Timings: 24hrs open
4. Best day to visit - Every Monday from 11p.m to 12:30 a.m (2300 hrs to 0030 hrs)
5. Camera/photography - Allowed
6. Entry fee- based on my last visit I remember some small amount of INR 5 for keeping shoes and if you opt for normal darshan, for VIP darahan during crowded days (Monday/Mahashivaratri/New year/festivals) there are some charges I am not sure, also some amount for camera/mobile camera.
7. Events: Laser shows and live Shiva bhajans on Monday evenings (late nights)
8. Controversy: people feel that a lot of money is expected and asked from you at multiple places in this temple, however this is what I felt - there are places within the temple for where some money is charged, if you feel like donating money feel free to donate, if you don't feel like donating, please feel free by not donating, the temple staff may ask you for donation but no one will force you, you can do darshan for free also and meditate for hours (no need to go to places which are charged), no one will disturb you.
Nice temple. But sometimes they try to bluff at entry point and ask for more money. Be careful about this. There is no extra entry fees
Sheegra Darshan was a pretty bad experience. We were a family of 9 people including one child. We were charged rs 1200 for 8 adults in - spite of the fact that there was a board of "free entry" written on the entrance of the temple..it was told to me and my family that we will not be allowed inside without giving this amount ..when we asked for the name of the two lady employees who charged us the money, they started talking rudely with me and my family.....In addition, on enquiring about the 'free entry' board., we were told that the entry is free from 9pm till 9 am in the morning which was nowhere mentioned in the viscinity of the temple. Moreover, she also mentioned that the hiked prices have been in opeeation from past three days. Worst experience ever!!!!!
The ENTRY IS FREE, do not buy the tickets. If you want the special darshan with nava graha and 16 Lingas you can pay 50 at the cave counter no need to buy the 250 or 150 or 100 ticket, these people are doing fraud they won't even say the is free darshan. Just take the 5 for chappal and go.
Best time to visit is aroung 5-6pm.. love the environment here.. very peaceful..
Amazing place. Entry charges are Rs.50 for normal darshan and Rs.250 for special darshan.
Nice place very good for Lord Shiva followers !!
Well tried and good maintenance as well..
Entry ticket is little high but its good to pray and use the items they give ,along with options provided.
Normal entry - 150 rs
Special entry - 250 rs .. As on November 2017
You can spend a quality 1 or 2 hours inside temple.
It has nice underground caves like structure and big Shiva and Ganesha statue !!
Nice place for meditation and peace! Dont pay any entry fees normally.
