We were clients for several years and found the lack of responsiveness frustrating, especially for pressing questions. We tolerated it because we thought they were doing a good job. Turns out we were wrong! We received a notice from the IRS with a huge fine three years after the fact because our accountant failed to include a large amount of income in our return. While our accountant did agree to pay the fines (which I believe they're required to do), the poor attitude and unprofessional follow-up was too much and we found another accountant to help us, for a lower fee and a much better experience.
