We visited the restaurant and not the hotel and were there due a late lunch. This place had many Danes telling us it was the place to go and one of the best around Skagen. To be fair or wasn't bad and maybe it was the anti climax after all the hype, but for me it felt a little lacking. It felt almost like a old posh establishment still riding on the success of yesteryear.

Of the food we ate the Oysters were the best and I must say they were pretty good. But the local fish soup and other dishes we had were really nothing special. Added to this the service was limited and the tables needed a good wiping over, being sticky and not feeling clean.

Overall, I expected much more from a place with the reputation I'd heard of.

Perfect dinner, but beware also many people coming here, talking together at the same time ;-) a bit noisy.

The French cuisine is well made, full of flavour and served by friendly waitors.
Could come again.

A wonderful stylish hotel. Nothing is too much for the lovely staff. The food is absolutely delicious and the setting is just perfect.

I ate dinner here. Great food!! Very nice location and atmosphere too. There is one of those huge chairs hanged up by a rope, I don t know how they re called, but they are amazingly comfortable.
