Very expensive mediocre food, had better at a chain restaurant for a quarter of the price. Service was awful wait staff knocked into us at least twice and said nothing.
Very loud could not here ourselves talk. Will not return. This is New Orleans much better everywhere.

We didnt eat at Ruth Chris until our last night in New Orleans, after being treated so rudely through out the week in various other places it was a warm welcome to be treated so kindly at this establishment. Thumbs up for your customer service and awesome food.
The best Ruth s Chris in the country! We have eaten at Ruth s Chris restaurants in at least five states and the quality of this one is at the top. If your Ruth s Chris experience was so-so at another location, give this one a try and you will know why it s worth the price. Oh yeah, and spring for the larger filet over the petit.
This location has a lively atmosphere. I had the bone-in filet and it was very good. We came here for an early Father's day dinner. We had a great experience!

Great steak, great service! Our waitress Angele (sp) was a delight, so sweet and impeccable service. The STEAK....OMG the steak so soft and buttery! We ordered their prefix menu for $46.95 that include 3 courses and that was definitely the way to go! They also offer another prefix that includes more food. I was more than full and took most of it go anyway. Also, had the jumbo lump crab cakes and those were good a lot of crab less filler just what you would like in a crab cake. Moscow mule was delicious. I would return in a heartbeat and looking to go for dinner before I leave NOLA! Definitely worth the price, again great food and service.

Food, great... bartender/waiter, terrible. The food is what I recieved in the past and would expect from the Ruth's Chris brand but the bartender /waiter took order and served our food in the most unorthodox way that I have experienced anywhere. He said we had to have a tab or pay in advance ( never have I been told this or experienced this at any other Ruth's Chris that I have been to in the past) but okay maybe things might be expedited when I am ready to leave. Instead we tipped $25 00 before our order was fulfilled. We had to request our dessert and when it arrived the vanilla ice cream was missing! Being used to the quality of RC's service I asked about what we recoeved.. A piece bread pudding saturated in syrup, I was told by the brtnder/ waiter that there was no more vanilla ice cream that accompanied the RC meal we ordered but we could have chocolate ice cream instead. Had it, ate it, but it was not what we wanted or orded, and we would not order it again even if it was on the menu. Add insult to injury, the food we could not finish and had boxed up was placed by another patron and it wasn't until I inquired about it, walked over to the bag, and opened it to identify it was ours was it given to us. An overall first and disappointing experience.)

Legendary local origin steak house. Will not disappoint with menu choices, wait staff, atmosphere, freshness and presentation. Great for celebration or a treat to yourselves.

Pricey, but heavenly. I love steak; my girlfriend and I purchased the 40 oz Porterhouse and it arrived with two hot plates of herbs and butter. Together, this adds up to a shared $115 bill, but it also made for some of the best steak I've ever had. No exaggeration, this was savory, it had both chewy and tender bites, and it added up to a simply stellar experience.
We even arrived right before they closed, and we still got a fantastic meal AND service! Highly recommend!
Went in on a wednezday around 530..they will never serve outside if bar is full.ordered from happy hour menu and still paid 79 bucks fir a soggy grilled chicken sandwich. And 12 bucks for fries...please. .wait staff is slow to serve and the place is dark .for ruths thats not a good thing. They need some leadership and custoner service training .

Had a 8 p.m. reservation what's not seated until 9:30 . We had to ask 4 people 4 times for bread before we got any. One waiter said it wasn't his table and he was busy. Our waiter took at least 15 minutes before he even came and took our order. I understand it was the day before New Year's Eve however no one should have to wait that long to be seated and then wait that long to get food. We ordered appetizers and salads and it still took at least a half an hour to get that. My suggestion is in the future, when it's a holiday don't overbook people look forward to eating at the time or close to the time of the reservation as opposed to having to wait an hour and a half to be seated. As a restaurant / business that is unacceptable I would have to think very hard before I eat at this establishment again.
best steak in town, service is always awesome and if you complain about the prices go grab a steak at Applebees and don't forget to ask for Ranch.

This was my first visit to this particular Ruth Chris location AND my first visit during lunch hours. Immediately, I noticed that the experience wasn t as personalized as I ve gotten at other locations. Maybe because it was during lunch?? We were seated in a cute private booth, which would be a nice touch for an evening out. There weren t many guests dining and our waiter was really nice. However, service was super slow. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. It was one of the best burgers I ve ever eaten well-seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly. The bun was out of this world! It was light, soft and buttery, definitely the best bun ever. The fries were nicely cooked but could have benefited from more seasoning (which is an easy fix). After we finished eating, we had to wait what seemed like forever to get our check. It was borderline ridiculous, and I m wondering if the private booth made the server forget about us. I stuck my head out of the booth numerous times, but to no avail. I would consider returning if I m already in the area, but my best Ruth Chris experience has been at the Metairie location.

Went to a sponsored dinner tonight...service was poor (waiter dropped plate with utensils twice back to back, drinks not filled, steaks served with no sides), my steak was grey for some reason and to top it off there were fruit flies flying around the table. Perhaps management feels that since the dinners are paid for upfront there is little need to provide outstanding service. I didn t complain because it wasn t my money, but if I had been footing the bill I would have been livid.
Ambience, service, food... all amazing. Only small issue I had is that my Medium Rare ribeye showed up Medium- Medium Well. As a general rule I dont send food back unless its unbearable, so I ate it. I just wish I could've experienced it the way that I wanted to eat it.
