I purchased Rust-Oleum Garage coat 2-part Tan Gloss Garage Floor Polycuramine Kit at Lowe's. I have a standard 2-car garage. I purchased a kit and was hoping that it would be sufficient for my garage. I did only one quote and the paint was over after only half the garage was covered (see picture 1 attached). I'd no other option but run to my local Lowe's store and spend another $199 for the second kit. This is NOT for 2.5 car garage. Also, the decorative chips discovered my floor (see picture 2).

Faded/no gloss at main garage door. Applied Rocksolid Polycuramine 7 days ago and everything was fine, until today.... Did I say it was applied only 7 days ago?! Called Customer Support and was told this product does not have UV protection. I said I applied this 7 days ago and the max time my floor has been exposed to the sun was 15 to hours, in Iowa in the spring time with max Temps of 75. How is that possible? I said it is with the roller marks, it is possible there was a defect in the last bag I used, which is where this problem started. I used the same process as the other two bags and this one seems to not maintain a high gloss appearance. I was sold on this product for the past six days, now I regret it due to the variation/durability and the fact Rust-Oleum is not standing behind their product.

The paint is great so my comment is about how much if you end up wasting because if the fancy delivery top on the spray can.

I thought the trigger idea was a great idea so I got several cans of paint. Even after several failed I got more thinking it just must be that can.

But oh no - it is the cans and the trigger.

Some of them leak so you get paint all over your hand. I know - so wear a rubber glove? Right, but why not fix the spray nozzle?

And then if you don t use it all in your project be prepared to throw out what you don t use because the paint may not come out next time. The accelerant will come out but not the paint unless you shake the can as you spray it.

Picture yourself aggressively shaking a paint can while trying to accurately paint the new house numbers for the Missus. You tube worthy yes- accurate no.

Rustoleum is really good about refunds but I would prefer a reliable spray system because a refund is useless when you are mid project.

I have thrown out a lot of these cans and then gone back to the finger cramping spray nozzle style.

So the paint is very good the delivery system is terrible.

Used Rocksolid in our garage & it turned out awesome! We are able to hang out in there and really appreciate the space we have now. Highly recommend that and the cabinet transformation we did 4 years ago that still makes our cabinets look brand new!

The Rock Solid pearlescent is trash & I would highly recommend staying away from it. I bought 2 kits which should ve been plenty & prepped a 2 car garage exactly like the directions said to for a brand new garage floor & the results are horrible. The coverage was so bad my wife had to speed to Lowe s to buy another kit. It took 3 kits to cover a 2 car garage & then when I called customer service all the guy wanted was the receipts from Lowe s LoL not hey how can we solve or help fix this . I even got to the point where I just wanted to know if I could epoxy on top of epoxy because I could not find the receipts at the time of first & 2nd email. By the 3rd email I was still not answered if I could apply more coats on top of the ones I had already applied that look horrible. He just kept asking for receipts & acted as if we couldn t move forward unless they were provided. It may have been a bad batch because I ve used a similar product to do the garage floor at one of our other houses & no issues. It was a solid color though not the pearlescent that we had the issue with. I definitely won t be purchasing ANY rustoleum products in the future due to their unwillingness to help. Oh & still never even got an answer if I could put another coat on LoL. Bye rustoleum

We just used the Cabinet transformation product. We are getting lots of compliments on how nice the cabinets look! After the prep work and drying time the project moved a long pretty well.

Have used many Rust-Oleum products with great success, and find that their instructions for use are excellent (and should be followed).

Most recent project involved cleaning, priming and painting my Jeep's front & rear bumpers, and also its bow shackles.

Self-etching Primer #249322 and Black Textured Spray Paint #7220830 were the main products for that job. I used primer on the bumpers and shackles, then finished with the textured paint.

Outstanding results when used properly. 70 degrees. Low humidity. No wind. Basic process:

* Made sure that the conditions were right
* Cleaned all the items that were getting painted
* Lightly sanded everything and wiped the items off well
* Spray painted with self-etching primer (couple hours to cure)
* Sanded & wiped down again
* Repeat the two steps above
* Painted with the textured paint (allowed 4 hours to dry)
* Sanded & wiped down
* Repeat the two steps above
* Allowed 24 hours to cure before installing on Jeep

Pictures will be posted of the items in various stages. Excellent
