Great little shop for ingredients or a prepared fresh mozzarella (among other options) sandwich (as well as a ton of other options, or your own concoction). You might find some sammiches less expensive in Little Italy, but not much, and not better.

I set up a four star draft a while back. I went today after not going for a few months, and I m not sure I ll be back. The food is good. But they ve raised the prices rather drastically, by a dollar, rather suddenly. But on top of that, the kid who rang me up didn t know the prices and first tried to ring me up with everything a couple of dollars too much. Luckily I noticed that two things of ravioli and some sauce were costing $30, which seemed bananas, so I asked. We eventually got the prices figured out. Then he rang up one price on the cash register, but charged my credit card $3 more. Luckily I looked and noticed that. But I don t want a food shopping trip to be a test of my observation skills. I don t think it was on purpose, but they really shouldn t put someone at he register if they re going to rip people off. Things might be better if they had prices up, but I guess that s too low-rent, so one just has to trust them, which I ve realized can t be done. So anyway I don t need this kind of stress, there are other places to get pasta.

Good traditional Italian sandwiches and pasta. Pre made or you can buy pasta to make at home. I usually get a hero. The prices are fair and they taste great. Food is very fresh whenever I went. If u need to have a fulfilling meal. This place will do the job.

I feel this Italian deli is more of a take out or take home sort of place. I ordered a mozzeralla and pepper sandwich. It was very good. The pasta looked like it had to been taken home for more cooking. The staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. I would go back.

This is definitely the store you visit when you want a fresh Italian meal but don't want to make the pasta or sauces yourself. They have a huge variety of pastas, sauces and meats that you could easily pass off as your own though I recommend honesty. Definitely love their meal deals, too.

The eggplant parm still haunts my dreams. I lived down the street for 6 years and frequented Russo's for their sandwiches and pasta.

It's small, but authentic. The neighborhood knows this place is legit. If you're visiting, be sure to stop by and split a sandwich.

The roasted artichokes are one of my favorite foods, period. Had a great meatball sandwich, and those Italian coffee sodas are great. This place is my go to for lunch when I m in the south slope.

Very good Italian hero and with a soda for $10 not a bad deal. They have a nice pasta section with hard to find shapes in the front of the store. Their olives and salads are okay, nothing great. Can get crowded and if only one person behind the counter working the register and making the sandwiches, it can get annoying.

Maybe because I married into an off the boat Italian family, but this place is just average. Their bread has no crunch -- big sin -- and I bought sausage today that was, well, two days past when it should be sold. Gray and funky. Sandwiches are cool, but still need better bread.

BEST sandwiches. They taste amazing, really quick making it, huge and around $9 incl. tax. You can also pay card (perk). Haven't had any of the pasta's but they look incredible. Loads of vegetarian options too.

It's a little pricey for my budget but I can't resist. Panini & wraps are delicious and large for $9 (includes a soda). Great anti-pasta salad bar. Try the prosciutto balls, roasted artichoke hearts, or crabcakes. Good place for vegetarian options. They ve also got a good cheese case, gelato freezer, a wall of refrigerated pastas & sauces, plus specialty pantry items. During the winter holiday season they carry ALL the Pantone you could want. Credit cards, debit cards, and cash accepted. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Only street parking available. #LetsGuide

Every combination of raviolis that you can imagine! All right, maybe not EVERY combination but they have a lot. I usually come here to pick up bread, roasted vegetables, parmesan cheese, and prosciutto. The staff is friendly and they have lots of tasty items.

Tip: if you're looking for loose sausage for a recipe (e.g.- pasta sauce) then Russo's is your place! I used to cut the casing from their delicious sausage but they now sell loose sausage by the pound.

I can only speak for their sandwiches, but I'm a big fan. Large portions (I find one sandwich is enough for 2 adults) at reasonable prices with good ingredients. Also they don't skimp on the prosciutto!

I was being their costumer for about 8 months. I will never go back there again. I was always paying the same for my sandwich, and I always bought the same sandwich the other day when I went the sandwich cost $15.00 I ask what s going on, I always paid $12.00. The response was... because I add prosciutto... Interesting thing is I always bought the same sandwich with prosciutto! The way I see this is they are gauging their prices!

Better quality and service than I could have ever expected and very reasonable pricing. My bf and I ordered a big (5ft) sandwich from Russo s and the people we spoke with were very knowledgeable and friendly. In addition to the excellent service, the sandwich was ready exactly when they said it would be and the quality was amazing. My bf s mom said she has never had a sandwich that big that actually tasted so good and she couldn t believe the price. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was a big hit. We re really happy!
