The restaurant is open on the street and the restaurant is open and the food comes out quickly.
It has a great atmosphere And friendly staff, but the food was a little bland.
It's a place to eat. Food was good, beer cold, server had a nice butt.
We came here to celebrate our parent's 30th anniversary. It was a last minute reservation but they were able to accommodate 8 of us. We had the seafood platter for 4 people to share and it was delicious (but expensive). The blue ribbon burger was excellent and it comes with truffle fries. Everybody enjoyed their meals and if you are willing to spend a bit more money you will enjoy the meal.
Good food and service. Not the best in Manhattan by far, but easy to get into and a good place for an after show meal.
A nice restaurant, elegant and above all super attention and food, very spacious and good food. Congratulations
The food was ok and overpriced. The service was not very prompt. Only one of us got the water refilled once.
Seating area, service and food exceeded my expectations. Wish I discovered this place sooner! The eggs benedict on croissants was my favourite! Their coffee is good too!
Went here with family for sushi. The rolls are small and expensive for what you get. If you are going for sushi only find somewhere else.
Delicious food and great service!, I'll keep coming back.
Went there for brunch and was given a bland disproportionate sandwich. The waiter then saw it fit to on several occasions point out that an 18-22% tip must be adhered to. Overall very disappointing and lacklustre.
Food is AWESOME! I had the Hangover breakfast, to much to list, and it came out quick, like superman fast. Place is great, and food quality is just as fantastic. Must try.
Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, this 57th Street staple aims to please. Catering to the endless stream of tourists and locals alike, their wide ranging menu will satisfy even the most demanding palate. Try the salmon eggs Benedict!
Excellent ambience, very reasonable price, delicious food...
Perfect for Brunch, yummy, yummy yummy. Service was exceptional
Absolutely superb restaurant. Service was brilliant and staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and portions generous. It is on the pricey side but that's what you would expect for a class experience. We had our engagement celebratory meal here and couldn't have chosen a nicer venue!
Came for brunch with my parents and their friends. Reserved a table--it was waiting for us when we arrived. Ambience is nice and festive; noisy but not excessively so. Food ranged from good to great. Portions adequate but not overwhelming. Attentive but not overbearing service. I would have like a bread basket (they might have brought one had we asked). My omelette was delicious but needed something more on the plate...fries? Greens (more than that garnish). Overall a strong success. I've also been later in the evening--they are open later than a lot in the neighborhood, so good for desserts after a movie at the Ziegfeld!
Perfect spot for lunch in the middle of IT. The slider is a must-have... yummiest
We were in the area and wanted a decent sit down lunch and while the area has plenty of choices, we found Rue 57 a great restaurant for lunch!
The atmosphere was electric with plenty of activity but still affords intimate table setting & conversation.
This bustling hot spot has all the best French offering and a Sushi chef and several special rolls and surely customized requests.
The chicken soup was light yet tasty and just enough pulled chicken mixed with noodles and home cooked broth.
We both enjoyed the French Dip sandwich which was a great blend of flavorful sliced & tender roast beef. The horseradish aioli and caramelized onions were a perfect combination to dip in a hearty complex roast beef au jus!
The house made peach ice tea was a very refreshing and unexpected lunchtime drink!
I m looking forward to returning soon!
The onion soup is very good exelentrs binos fish and mini hamburgers the bad thing is that there are not all the dishes it depends on the day the waiters are very superb and paid for if be careful with the tip sometimes they will auto
The atmosphere was lovely, we went at Christmas time, and it was decorated very nicely. The food was delicious as well, with big portions.
Very tasty. Bartender was great in creating a great drink from my memory
We never miss an opportunity to dine at Rue 57 when we are in the city for a few days. The Herb Roasted Chicken with haricot verts is great, and we have always had supurb service.
When you first come and ask the waiter to give you water, be sure to ask for tap water. Just ask for it and you'll get a $ 8 Fijiwater gift.
Yummy food. Also accommodating if you need to be somewhere afterwards.
The servers are super chill, very formal and offered some really great suggestions on the menu! Shout out to Thomas!
The bartender was very helpful and friendly. She was great to chat with and the drinks were perfect
I got the chicken milanese it tasted like a regular breaded chicken breast barely any taste!!! It was so hot no air condition!!! The bread tasted like burn toast manager told us thats how the bread taste!!! Im disgusted with the service! Everyone was rude!!! Worst place in NYC based on our experience!
Delicious brunch! Next time I will be getting the benedict. I loved my omelette... it was a lot of egg surrounding peppers and brie cheese. I had a delicious Whiskey sour. Great friendly service. Next time I want the grand mimosa!
upscale French cuisine, professional staff, very good food. Very pretty restaurant in central location. Nice to take visiting family or friends
Great place to go for a late dinner. We had the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Chicken meatballs with Linguini. Great service and atmosphere. It was a bit dark inside and kind of hard to read the menus, but the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Always reliable, not cheap but good. Tourists and locals. Nice crowd. Nice staff. Excellent sushi.
My first time, good food, good portions. Family atmosphere. Cool people!
Great cup of coffee. Nice staff, no frills. Very quiet down stairs area. They have a cute tiny patio outside for fresh air.
Amazing amazing place. Nicely decorated for Christmas, super nice staff. I definitely recommend eating here and I would come here again. Who knew sushi and French food would be such a hit!
Fresh, delicious food, well-liked, promptly served with attention. Were able to keep talking for a long time after eating without being disturbed. Will go back!
Close to central park. Good for a quality quick meal
Cozy atmosphere in midtown Manhattan, great service, great quality food, will definitely be back.
Food quality is below expectation. Service is fine.
Never been to such a racist place. Disgusting place. When we arrived the tables besides ours were empty. Then other people arrived amble were attended by 3 different waiters. All of the waiters saw we were present but never attended us. Such a disappointment!!!!
We weren't sure what this place would bring, given the wide variety of the cuisine. The key is just to have at it, because it's all great - from delicious hand-rolled sushi, to well prepared traditional beef and seafood dishes, to mouthwatering desserts (Oreo beignets? Yes please!), we didn't swallow a single bad bite. Service was great, and the scene was vibrant and peppy. Hope to repeat here soon and take a different walk down the menu...
Nice place
Pricey becz of location
Food is 4 stars
Service 5
Location 5
Staff 4
Very swanky restaurant near central park. The Miso glazed Chilean sea bass is the best fish dish I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration. It was cooked perfectly, and was paired with the perfect sides. I would not change a thing about it! The service was above average, given we had a group of 20, and it was during a busy night.
Super beef flank, sushi made with real crab not pollock ...
Great food and service. Well priced. Good for business meetings over lunch.
Overrated expensive food. Too noisy. Very slowly service
Enjoyed brunch here at 11 on a Thursday. Food, drinks, and service were all exceptional.
French toast was perhaps the best I've had.
Great service!!! Delicious burger and beer salad. Loved the glass of rose recommended by the server!
The service was okay. We ordered 2 burgers ($19 each) for dinner that came to us without any dressing - plain as day - bun, meat and chunk of onion. We had to ask them to add in tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, mustard and ketchup. Really, we had to ask. This restaurant is okay but super strange at the same time with the plain burgers brought to us. Didn t expect that from a Manhattan restaurant.
Stopped in for a little lunch and sat at the bar. The Kobe sliders and fries were on point and the Sazarac is one of the best I've had.
Seriously one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It is my boyfriend and my Christmas tradition to come here for dinner. Can't wait to go back and the decorate beautifully.
Save your money and go to somewhere else, I feel like I'm at tgi Fridays except I'm over paying for it. Service sucks, the goods not even hot, just please take my advice and save your money like I wish I had.
Food is great and staff also.
Sincere recomendation!
Horrible. Bad generic Touristy food. Location only. Bad food. It's close to Central Park and they know they will get customers no matter what. The food is not good generic. I would advise avoiding the whole big name neighborhood for food. Expensive for location only. Not the quality. Stay away from the big name restaurant in midtown
Fantastic, you can not miss it. Authentic American food and atmosphere. Spectacular hamburgers It is not a burguer ...
A quintessential New York diner. Very popular so be prepared to be seated . Once seated good is served quickly and portions are huge
