Shout-out to John L for being the best technician in the entire world. Very informative, extremely helpful, answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the quirks of my car which was great as my vehicle is not a totally conventional one. He was a great help when installing my new head unit and was communicative as he was installing it. I went to Visions before settling on RPM, and John made my choice very worth it. He was a pleasure to work with and every time I need any upgrades done on my car, I will absolutely visit RPM.

Had RPM install Remote start w/remote locks and trunk release on my 2008 Crown Vic Interceptor. It works Awesome!!!

I took in my car for help with an audio problem I was having, was told to buy a part ($100) and then it would work. They installed the part but didn't fix the problem and then one of the guys said "to bad his time is up we have someone at 10" what kind of customer service is this??? I am left to finish fixing it myself but as I'm driving away it was unbearable the bass would randomly turn up all the way and even if I turned the voulme down it would still be way to loud. I then went back and had to pay another $40 labour then I drive away and have the same problem happens so I just kept driving and will find someone who knows what they are doing. I just paid around $200 for NOTHING!
I will be never going back to this place again and recommend you stay away.

I discovered RPM while shopping for a dash cam last year. I researched different models online and found a good deal on their website so I booked an appointment. Their service was excellent, staff were very professional and friendly. There were multiple issues which resulted in further appointments but they were all related to the unit itself, not the installation. When I reported the issues they were very accommodating and fit me in as soon as possible. Ended up replacing the unit with a new one. If you're shopping for a dash cam I highly recommend RPM. I also recommend purchasing a memory card and cell battery through them. They know which brands of memory cards are compatible with each unit (one of the issues I had, the memory card I originally purchased was not compatible and resulted in frequent overheating). A cell battery is pricey but worth it, eliminates any possibility of the unit draining your car battery. Five star business.

Open 7 days a week. I called on a Sunday and asked for a diagnostic on a radio not working. I got an appointment right away. The trouble was sorted out and explained to me within 30 min.

New management in Burnaby sucks. Used to be great when they were at Surrey. The quote they gave for my dad's HID headlights conversion over the phone was $75 more expensive than what they told us. Ended up paying $175. I felt embarrassed considering I recommended their shop to my dad. They have overpriced their services now. Not going back ever.

These guys are great, they are very attentive and listen to your needs and will do what is required to meet them. I m the annoying type that asks a million questions but they answered any and all questions I had and I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. Their prices for equipment and installation are very reasonable and they got me an appointment booked for installation in a matter of days.
Quick and clean installation of amplifier, LOC and subwoofer, also installed a deck in my girlfriends car on the same day.
I will definitely come back for other installations and upgrades these guys are awesome to say the least!

RPM Staff was wonderful in helping me decide which sub would best suit my car. Pricing is very reasonable compare to best buy and visions.The staff was very knowledgeable compare for the other two competitors and would HIGHLY recommend. My installer AJ help me understand and tune my system really well compared to what i had before.

They were able to help me almost right away to remove aftermarket alarm. They did a great job and did it efficiently. Honest pricing too. Was quoted twice as much at another place to do the same job. Highly recommend these guys

Just want to say that I am very happy with the service I received at the RPM electronics. I had a bit of a complicated case - I needed to get my old in-dash screen from my Honda CRV EXL 2007, and put in a new one as well as installing an aftermarket back-up camera. David - I am assuming one of the owners, gave me a very thoughtful advice which in-dash unit to buy that matched my needs perfectly. They also sold me one, and gave me a very decent discount. The installation service was great as well - I had to buy one extra cable so I can mirror my android phone onto my in-dash screen, and they put this up for free. I am very happy with AJ's work - one of the installers. He took the time to explain in details how the new system work, and his work quality was excellent. I did an extensive research before choosing the right shop, and trust me guys, RPM offers one of the best rates. I got different quotes from different places - and these guys had the most competitive prices, and not only that...that offer you accessories as well...some of the others shops I turned to wanted me to buy parts in advance...it was just an extra hassle that I saved with RPM.
Overall - very satisfied with the service - good prices, and professional work and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

So i called in to have my amp and sub installed in 2016 lancer. They started working on it within 2 days. My installer was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was very happy once the job was done, I suggest this place. Priced fairly, good service. 5/5 !

Got a dashcam installed here. Got a substantially better deal compared to a dealer quote. The installation was professionally done and took the time they estimated. The waiting area is drab. Get your own coffee and reading material. But at the end of the day, you and your car will leave satisfied.

Peter and his staff were great! We had been to 6 places about installing a new car stereo in my wife s Nissan Micra. All the other place said they couldn t do anything because the Micra didn t show up in their computers (the Micra isn t available in the US and that s where many of the aftermarket radio adapter kits come from). Peter had a look at it and said they could do it. The work was excellent and my wife has been very pleased with it.

I purchased and had installed a fleet of 24 cameras installed in our parts delivery vans @ 3 different locations and the service was excellent. RPM was requested to track each install via a work order and summarize each installation which went off flawlessly.

High technical knowledge, could use some more Quality Assurance/Testing after installs.

I was looking for an aftermarket double-DIN car deck and worked nearby.
Came in on a weekend and staff was able to help find one that matched my specific needs (Bluetooth capable, external microphone, Siri friendly).
I ended up settling on a Carplay compatible deck, which they even allowed me to test with my own iPhone.

Installation was within the 40 minute estimate they had given, but the technicians didn't verify the microphone & radio functionality. We went back the next day and they were able to sort it out within the hour, no additional fees or booking necessary.

If you need any car work done go to RPM electronics. They have a great crew to help you. I want to give a special thank you to Kierra, she went above and beyond with customer service in ways most others wouldn't bother themselves with. I could have had a rotten day yesterday but Kierras efforts really helped. Thank you.

WOW. I had 2 other shops screw up Hid light installation. As I was from out of town and had non-working headlights RPM took my truck in when they were overbooked and told me not to worry! I was shocked when about an hour later the installer came to get me. I expected more bad news, but he just wanted to show me where the fuse was and the how installation Was completed. It now looks like a factory installation and works perfect. The best part it was 50% less than the other shop for a much better high end product. RPM is fair,honest and extremely professional . I've been coming here for four years ever since I needed to get my dash cam installed.

The techs are highly knowledgeable and has advised me to refrain wasting my money on multiple occasions because it wasn't worthwhile. They're good honest people that do a great job.

Me and my wife had our driver heated seat done at rpm and our car was brought in on a Tuesday and they has it done on a Wednesday and I know this a big job but they are awesome at what they did and fast I whould highly recommended them to my friends

I've been going to RPM since their surrey location opened and I found they are consistent in offering great services for a reasonable price. Their new location offers a larger variety of products and the staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to get my retrofit projectors from these guys.

I had 2 dash-cams installed here and both times I had a great experience! Great people and clean work.

I requested the store to add a back-up camera to my old Hyundai, and they were very patient, as I had a lot of questions and wasn't quite sure what I wanted at first. The experience of going into the store was very good, they brought out 3 different camera options to my car to see what we preferred. There was one minor blip where I was confused by the pricing as I had expected a lower price based on my prior quotes by phone call. The manager called the sales person that I spoke to who clarified the issue, basically I was given 2 separate quotes initially instead of a total quote. My one suggestion is that they might offer e-mailing written quotes to future customers who have set an appointment. I should also add that they ended up charging less than the quoted price, as they initially allocated 2.75 hours but only used 2.5, so I appreciated their honesty about that. I settled on the larger clip-on mirror back-up camera and it's working well. All in all a good experience and I would definitely recommend them.

Made an appointment only to find out that the techs were having lunch break. Waited for 30 min for them to come back and was quoted 20 min to finish the job, well I timed it and I was there for 45 min.

Wouldn't have mind if they were more organized. Plus the price they quoted me on the phone and the actual bill was not accurate. Will not return

I can honestly vouch for John for anyone who is OCD like me. Brought in my 911 to hard wire my Escort radar detector for a pre-Blendmount install. A very clean job, John was also careful when working inside the car, once completed showing me the exact work that was done for approval.

Got LED headlight bulbs installed on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Jason was very helpful in answering all of my questions regarding the differences between those and HID as well as pricing, reliability and warranty. Since my truck is a redesign from the old model they didnt' know how long it was going to take but didn't also underestimate the time they needed, so I planned accordingly. Turned out they didn't need to do what they expected to do (yay Honda) and install was fast and clean. All wires and everything are tucked away nicely and wrapped up, completely looks like an OEM install. Definitely recommend these guys and their work. When I was there, the shop was pretty clean as well but will check it out when they are done their renovation.

The owner David is a really genuine guy and it was a great experience dealing with him and his team. The charges were reasonable and you only pay for what is used, prices for parts are near market rates without exorbitant markups. They stand behind their installs. My tech was Jimmy and he did a fantastic and clean job with my Pioneer 4100NEX. After installation he detected that the parking sensor was not perfect so he took it back and refit it for me. I was really glad that they were able to make the best use of my existing steering wheel controls adapter and center console USB port. Will surely recommend them to anyone!

Fair prices, but more importantly - fantastic service. Deck installation was quick and thorough. A warranty issue arose with the unit and they took care of it the next day. 5stars isnt enough.

Went in looking for replacement ballasts and hid bulbs for my truck. Original set was starting to flicker and color change. Answered all my questions and gave me some choices. Very knowledgeable. Ended up buying their premium hid package and couldn't be happier. Perfect color and much brighter than the original set up I had. Will definitely recommend.

I had to go into RPM to have an electronic device installed .the guys were dealing with three different needs from the morning customers and were handling them quite swiftly. My salesperson Jair installed my device quickly and went over the operation of it slowly and patiently with me.

He even gave me a boost with his vehicle when my newly installed battery died. It was a very trying and busy morning for me and RPM helped it go a lot smoother.

Friendly staff, and reasonable prices, however, the install wasn't completely clean.

While installing a dashcam kit the installer applied and then for some reason lifted the rear cam off of my window where tint was present. This of course ruined the tint in that small area.

This was pointed out to me but at that point the damage was done and removing then reapplying tint on a rear window is a nightmare.

Additionally, what wasn't pointed out to me was the large scratches in the tint in that same area. I discovered that a few days after.

I can only give these guys 3 stars and feel reluctant to use them for my other mint condition vehcile which requires an extra clean stereo installation.

They did a great job installing a new deck and dash kit in my Santa Fe. They got me in right away. Looks and sounds awesome. I had ordered all the parts, and they did the labor. Unfortunately the steering wheel module I had was defective and had to be removed, so I could get it replaced. The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is that I don't think the install was sufficiently tested, as the defective module was acting up as early as my drive home from their shop. I had to go a week before getting it back in the shop. The malfunctions included running the volume up and down, or switching modes, or muting without me touching it any buttons at all. Not ideal or safe. Hoping I can get it resolved without much more fuss.

I have made another appointment to have all of my vehicles interior and exterior lights swapped out next week, can t wait. Pricing was decent, installation was a half effort though. Had my headlights changed and they work fine but they barely tightened my fender liner back to my bumper and every single bolt was loose. Really disappointed that something so simple like tightening bolts to a bumper couldn t have been done.

Had an amazing experience here, they were able to fit me in within a day of calling, they stored my vehicle to overnight (the night before our scheduled appointment) to save me time. An estimate was provided promptly and throughly (they set me up with a top of the line 2 way car alarm), excellent customer service, no fuss.

They are the best Car audio installer ...I have a Honda Accord 2006 got my audio install by KCA (Killer Car Audio) but they did a very bad job ! all my bass from my subwoofer sound so wrong (2 JL W6 12") Hz are too high and they never try to tune it or fix it for me ... so i go to RPM Electronics and they have people are Real Professional got my audio system tune it Right * I am so Thank you to Jimmy Yeung who help me fix my car audio problem.

Had a backup camera installed. Had to make another visit to have some problems resolved. They did a good job otherwise -- neat installation.

RPM installed my dual channel dashcam system. The installation was very clean and they modified the typical methodology to suit my preferences and car. Friendly. Final cost as quoted.

Staff was kinda rude. They have a government contract to install breathalyser's in peoples cars. With guaranteed business walking in the door, their customer service skills leave room for improvement. Overall work was satisfactory tho.

When the shop first relocated from there surrey location to their current one they were great. Then after awhile not so much. Had bought a set of h1 bulbs awhile back,bulbs kept on burning out. Everytime I went in for a replacement always seemed that they were out of stock and willnbe ordering soon. Or two my receipt from there system would magically vanish. Alot of run around for a simple bulb replacement, making the experience of purchasing anything here a headache. Didn't want to write this review but thought I would share my experience.
