Just got back and have to say this place is the best. Great rooms and the location to the park was key. Express pass is the best deal! We never waited more than 10min for a ride except the new Hagrid motorbike ride that doesn't have that. Any complaints I have are small really. Stuff is expensive so deal with it.
Very nice resort, but be prepared to pay through the nose. It is worth it for Express line privileges at the parks. There are refrigerators in the room but not a microwave available anywhere in evening.
Wonderful service from start to finish, including a "will call" desk right there in the lobby for our universal tickets.
Clean facilities all around, gorgeous views, friendly and helpful staff, good food and great selection. I'd definitely recommend for a professional event or personal stay.
I have never seen so much unprofessional behavior condensed at one place in the US. The restaurant manager will make you wait for 30 mins, events were unplanned, receptionists were totally confused; guess they had no training whatsoever. I stayed for a week in Orlando, but, I left hotel just after 4 nights. At the end, you see numbers in your credit card statement for services that you never used. I contacted customer service and no response. Another group of my friends stayed in nearby Sheraton hotel, had no issue. Steer clear of this one.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a staff that stops at nothing to make your stay wonderful. Staying at a Universal Hotel has many advantages and well worth it if you take advantage of all they offer.

Friendly staff. Very clean in the rooms and in the entire property. I was there for a work conference and we had a catered dinner. My only concern was that the lead or catering manager was rude and mean to his staff. Rolling his eyes, snapping his fingers at them, it was disgusting to watch.
My sister and I go to Universal every few months. However because of Covid-19, we haven't travel in 6 months. We decided to go this past weekend and given everything that is going on we had a great time! The hotel is remodel and beautiful!
Note: no buffet which meant no cinnamon roll which I was looking forward to! Hopefully next time!
Dissatisfied first time customer. Me and my husband were so excited to stay at such a beautiful resort. We booked our stay and we anxious to make our way there this weekend. I called the resort only to find out that the express passes do not work for Halloween horror night. What a disappointment! I read the terms and conditions and it only says that the pass does not work at volcano bay. We had to cancel our booking. I hope that they clarify that. I am pretty sure we are not the first and will not be the last to book it for those reasons.
Beautiful place and themed accordingly, definitely recommend this resort with the pool and easy access to the theme parks either by boat or walking. Check in is quick and had great team members checking people in

My wife and I really love this hotel. It's really a grand place suitable for everyone adults, kids and families. Conveniently located to all the theme parks and attractions.
Such a great hotel, staff are excellent. Fab pool, open late. Super comfortable beds.
Everybody was very friendly. The rooms are very nice size, but the sofa had a stain and the table were not cleaned very well.
You're supposed to receive 15% all Universal resorts if you're a Preferred season pass holder, but if you're a Florida resident you do not receive this.
Beautiful resort. Easy access to the parks and City Walk. Only issue we had is that the door to the bathroom in the guestrooms provides a visual barrier but not a soumd barrier. Folks in the bathroom basically sound as if they are right in the room with you.
After staying at a low-end room at Disney Pop Century, the room at Loews Royal Pacific was much less comfortable and friendly. For example: (1) inner shower door bar blocked the shower door from opening all the way, (2) hard to turn on the shower without getting immediately sprayed, (3) there was a second chair in the room, but no space for it - it got in the way, (4) bright blinking light on the smoke alarm above one bed, every 5 seconds, all night long. Beautiful common areas, however.

Fast Check In, great location within walking distance of City Walk and both Universal Orlando Resorts. So many Amenities, the walk-in beach pool is so sweet!
Rooms are spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a great view from the 4th floor. Service is very fast, we asked for an extra bed and before we could even start unpacking the bed was delivered! Also no to mention that staying at a Loews gets you a Express passes to the Universal Orlando Park attractions!
I highly recommend to stay at the Royal Pacific.
Simply the best getaway during covid-19
We came in just like everyone with a bit of hesitation considering the current situation around the world. Universal resort went above and beyond to ensure that you felt safe and comfortable. From contactless rooms service to a constant cleaning ethic. I haven't felt life be this normal in a long time.
Through out the resort and the parks, temperature check points were provided with multiple hand sanitizer stations through out. Some of the food and shops were at limited capacity (Social distance) which created some wait times (15-20 mins). Overall very smooth process all things considered.
I'm already booking my next trip in a couple weeks!!

I was in the area for a work conference and only saw the hotel's meeting rooms. From what I did see, it was great. Explored the stores, arcade, and gym. Everything looked well kept and had an easy walk to City Walk. It is difficult to go between hotels safely and quickly but overall had a good experience.
BEAUTIFUL hotel!! So close to Universal, as well as places to eat and shop. Very accommodating to a customers needs. Super friendly and very great staff.
Disappointed with my stay. Concierge worker was very rude and condescending. Our room had mold on the shower ceiling which wasn t safe especially with a newborn in the room. For luxury it should be better.
Perfect for vacation at Universal Studios! Proximity to the parks, amenities at the hotel for hours away . . . I enjoyed the fruit water in the lobby and the hot tub. I wish their best lunch option restaurant didn't have to close during lightning storms, and that more parking was accessible without valet service, but they valet park without the extra charge if the general lot is full, so that works out. The lu'au show is fun, and dinner is yummy!
Located right next to the Universal parks, this resort is an obvious choice for visitors.

This is the second time I've stayed here and I am sure that pretty much every time I come to Universal, I will stay here. I absolutely love this hotel. The surroundings and theming are expertly done and the hotel definitely gives a vibe of island life. You don't realize you're a mere boat ride away from Universal Studios and feel truly transported to a completely relaxing environment.
The rooms are great, with modern amenities and very modern appointments. The room itself is spacious with a large bathroom area that features a single large sink. There is not much in the way of bathroom storage but there is plenty of counter space. As for going in and out of the room, I'd prefer a disney- like system where you can use your phone or a magic band like device to enter your room and complete checkout in aore streamlined and efficient way, rather than waiting in large lines.
The property itself is large, with a large pool as its centerpiece. I loved the pool and everything they have on the property in terms of food. Personally, I prefer the universal restaurants to Disneys for food. Final verdict: amazing place to stay that will ensure relaxation in the midst of a busy, theme park laden trip.
I have always enjoyed this place. The property is beautiful. The close accessibility of Universal and CityWalk make it a great spot. Staff is friend and accomodating. My biggest critique is that the on premise restaurants need updating. I found the food choices to be lacking for this type of place. Again, the selection available at CityWalk offsets this issue some, but still should be much better.

Great place to work. Very comfortable environment with a casual feeling. Island style uniforms fitting the atmosphere as well as the job assignments make this place stand out from working at other resorts around town.

The thing that put it over the top for me was the breakfast buffet. You know that breakfast buffet that a Springhill Suites or Hyatt Place gives you for free every morning? Take that, put it in the Loews Royal Pacific and charge ~$100 for a family of 4 and that s how I would describe the breakfast buffet.
It s easy enough to park at Universal. Just stay somewhere with a bigger room for half the price and drive to the park, IMO.
Went for the minion breakfast. Had purchased it online but then again had to go to the concierge and then another desk to get card tickets as well. Took 30 mins which spoiled the whole experience
The whole experience here was exactly what you would expect for a theme-park hotel -- no surprises here. In other words, the high pricing reflects what you receive in terms of convenience, location, and park perks. I do want to point out that our bathroom had very little ventilation. Even a short 1 minute shower would leave the room (and everything in it, including the towels) soaked in condensation. As a result, there was visible black mold throughout the bathroom, and the paint on its ceiling was bubbling. See attached photos. I'd advise anyone staying here to check the bathroom first, before unpacking.

Out of all the resorts this is my go to. Even when they are doing construction I still end up here. I have never had a bad experience. We also get to take the boat to the theme park and when staying here you instantly get fast passes oh yeah definitely worth it.
Beautiful Property, Best Lobby Scent, Comfy Rooms and great food options. Loved the water taxi. Staff was incredible and the texting feature makes it super easy to communicate with staff. Unlimited Express Pass made it possible to experience everything in the parks without having to worry about wait times and we were able to enjoy the parks without feeling rushed.

Seems to be going down hill since last trip. I said something to an employee. He said some workers just having a bad day. Hell I have those at my business. Don't need those on vacation. Especially at that price.

It was ok. I wasn't overly impressed. I've seen better. Most of the employees were non American. They tryed hard to smile and be cordial. But easy to see the act. As some say (fake smile).
The room is very spacious, and the location is convenient for theme park access. The included express pass is a great perk. However the service at the hotel left a lot to be desired. Room was not ready at check in and took well over an hour past check in to be ready. Cleaning crew is incredibly slow, and after spending a full morning and afternoon in the park my room still had not been serviced.
It is a beautiful and relaxing environment but bring your gold card it's not cheap

My family of 4 just got back from a trip to Universal and Loews Royal Pacific. Everything was fantastic. We stayed at the club room, which was well worth it. Not only was the hotel beautiful, the staff was great. We went when it was still considered the off season, so there were hardly any lines, but staying in park and receiving the express pass is a huge perk. The staff was great, we didn't have a single problem.
I was nervous about our post COVID-19 vacation but this resort and Universal Orlando are prepared and making the best of this situation. Don t hesitate, just go! You won t be sorry!

This place is beautiful! Truly feels like a get away. The rooms are nice, pool is amazing! The staff is friendly and very helpful. We had a suite, so the breakfast and snacks were fresh and the area was kept clean and well stocked. We have stayed at this property twice, and will continue to do so!

Hotel is nice and well maintained, however the rooms seem a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Having said that, they are nice and comfortable. Restaurants are good on site and being in Universal, the water taxi takes you right to the attractions in a few minutes time which is really convenient.

Luxury all the way. Staff is professional, resort is spotless, grounds are wonderful, pool and hot tub is relaxing, it's all very nicely done. Everything is high end and perfection. The added express passes is just the cherry on top!
Loved this place because if the hospitality. The staff was so nice and helpful. I had lost my express pass ticket at universal so I called the hotel to see if they could help, and they did. They took care of everything, all I had to do was go to one of the customer service stations and pick up a new pass. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.
Staying on site can be rather expensive. But it definitely adds to the experience of Universal Studios. Let's be honest, the rooms are average but it's the convenience that you're paying for. You can't beat being able to leave the park and take a break from the crowds while never leaving. It's better than a home away from home.

I stayed one night at Loews Royal Pacific for the intent of going to Universal the next day. Because of that, I didn't get to use many of the amenities that the resort had to offer. With that said, the room was amazing, the pool area was beautiful, and the service at the resort and on the way to the parks via water taxi were very friendly and accommodating. I would love to be able to go back and stay for a longer trip and be able to enjoy more that the resort has to offer!
Other than a slight problem with getting to our room and finding it not fully clean at check in, everything has been great so far. Hotel staff has been great.
Location is fantastic, right next to Universal Studios. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff are always helpful and attentive to your needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again in the future.
Loved it so much. Express passes for all 4 guests in our room were included in the price. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure were blasted through in two days. Got on every ride with little or no time to stand in line.
Beautiful property. Very casual for a four star resort. Employees seem genuinely friendly and want to help you any way they can. In many locations I was greeted by name. And I was not even wearing a lanyard or name badge. Kudos to alll who work there!
My family loved this hotel. Did not really eat at the restaurant but the pools, water taxi and fastpasses to Universal make the place a blast for families. Breakfast at the club level was also very convenient. My kids loved the hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Royal Pacific. The staff is so friendly and courteous. The amenities at the hotel are awesome. We loved going to the tuk-tuk to get our Nutella ice cream every day. I love the texting feature to get a hold of the front desk whenever we needed some thing in our room. We also loved the water boat feature to get to and from CityWalk and all of the parks. The express passes were amazing and we will totally stay at Royal Pacific again. We highly recommend staying at Royal Pacific, you will NOT be disappointed!

We evacuated to the Loews royal pacific hotel for hurricane Irma. They were so prepared with food and entertainment for the kids. They watched harry porter and played games. We never lost power and the staff was especially courteous. The entire concierge Staff was excellent. Johnathan miller was also so accommodating. .
Room is comfortable and big enough for family of four. Pool is not very deep but fun. Hot tubs are nice but smells of chemicals. Walk to Universal parks is close. Food is good but pricey and if you eat pool side they add 18% service charge.

Beautiful hotel, great facilities. The pool is slightly heated and a late evening dip was not a problem. Lovely gym and many restaurant options. The boats to and from universal studios and the walk are fun and easy. Overall excellent.
We went to this property for a character breakfast. The buffet style breakfast was in the old spot of Emeril's Tchoup restaurant. The theme was Despicable Me. The seating was family-style. The food was good, including cereals, pastries, bacon, sausage, fruit, and more. The drink selection was limited to water, orange juice, cranberry juice, and coffee. The characters came out about every 20 minutes and allowed everyone to take pictures. They did not have a dedicated photographer for the event.
This is a fantastic hotel, especially considering it's on Universal property. Gorgeous property and amazing hospitality. If you're visiting either of the Universal parks you really can't beat it, especially with access to City Walk and included express passes.

We were checked in by Jasmine, who was delightful. The room was beautiful, we were in tower 3 with a view of Orlando. Convenient to City Walk and the Universal theme parks by boat or foot. The pool bar is great, delicious island themed cocktails. Great food at Jake's (the calamari and charcuterie board were our faves), and the breakfast available at Orchid Lounge wasnt too crazily priced and had decent selections.
We stayed on the club level and it was well worth it for our party. We didn't have to worry about breakfast or dinner, which was nice because we were traveling with a 1, 7, and 16 year old. The rooms were very nice as was the customer service. The express pass and boat to the park really helped to make our trip totally worth it. I highly recommend staying on this property.
Room was lovely. Beds very comfortable. Check in was slow due to number of guests arriving, more check-in in staff would have eased this. Told text would be sent when room ready, no text received. Had no time to use facilities as busy all day at the parks. Included express passes were superb. All staff were very helpful and polite. Loved that when we returned on our first afternoon to the hotel in the rain, there was a member of staff right at the front door handing out towels to dry off with. Nice touch

Great hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. I was impressed with the gluten free options in their restaurants. Makes life much easier for those of us with celiac disease. The staff was very much informed about the gluten situation and it was handled very professionally.
The room was in the third tower pool view and very lovely. We ordered room service one morning and they were courteous and quick. Housekeeping was great and nothing beats being able to take the water taxi to City Walk for lots of choices for dinner.

Meeting space was wonderful. Catering staff left a few things to be desired but overall a great experience.
Super small rooms for a party of 4 and you feel like you are getting gouged for food and 5 buck small coffee. The rooms are so small, there's only one desk between the beds. Also, was told over the phone that a microwave was in each room. It only had a miniature fridge. Oh, 20 bucks to park on your own too. The only good experience was the great bartender service and room cleaning person. Do yourself a favor and visit this place before you book, you'll run to the double tree like I did for the rest of my vacation.

I have stayed here twice and also The Hard Rock and The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and I just keep on coming back to this one cause you just wan't get enough of the fun tropical atmosphere. The rooms are super clean, staff is friendly, and it is a quick walk to Island's of Adventure and City Walk, however definitely take the boats a few times it is super fun.
