We wanted to go for a drink as it is nearly impossible to get a high quality drink in morocco.

We were shocked by the attitude of the employees. About 50 % of the employees were not greeting or smiling while walking by. Never had such an experience in a hotel in this price category. Finally we weren t allowed into the bar because of short trousers (we were elegantly dresses with closed shoes). I wrote an email before coming, no notice about the dresscode. All in all it s clearly visible that this hotel is under bad leadership. The staff clearly does not enjoy working here. Speechless. Compare the staff with for instance the staff of the le crillon hotel in paris and you will know what I am speaking about

Supremely opulent hotel. No cost sparred with construction or decoration. Lunch in the Le Jardin restaurant was nice. Even if you are not staying, stop by for pictures and lunch, you won t be disappointed.

Menu is pricey but nothing crazy given the location.

AVOID!!!!! We had the worst experience! We ordered 2 aperol spritz and they tried to charge us 35 dollars each because, unlike the standard one which uses Prosecco, they use French Champagne and they charge $35 just for the Champagne alone. For that price I would have had the champagne!

This is a place where if you want to wantonly waste money, you can spend two to three times the normal high end hotel prices for their extra special Cuban cigars that are a third the price at the 5 star hotel Le Jardin just a few blocks away and the prices are still 5 star but won't turn you running and screaming.

AVOID THIS SCAM PLACE BECAUSE THEY WON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY'LL ONLY EXTORT YOU.

Undoubtedly the best hotel !!!, impeccable service, beautiful arabesque decoration, taking care of the smallest detail, pleasant treatment, beautiful gardens, the divine spa, you have to go, the treatments are very good !!
Romantic and like a movie, the birds bathe in the multiple fountains that the garden has, it makes you feel like a princess or prince, I definitely recommend it! for my taste it is more for couples !! but it has a good service for families !!!
Is beautiful!!!! I would go back to Marrakech just to be in that hotel again !!

Wife went here for a massage and had the time of her life. She's been to a lot of spas around the world and this is her new favorite. I joined her for tea afterwards and it was really tasty. Tea mostly includes sweets and deserts so good to keep in mind. Also, we ordered two glasses of champagne and they were 45 USD each (yikes!) so just beware before you order rounds of drinks.

The staff, service, food and Riads are second to none. The beautifully decorated and furnished riads are a pleasure to be in. Nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff from the pool team to the Concierge, the waiting staff and the riad staff. I have a mobility problems, we were given a riad with a lift to all 3 floors. Everything was done to help my daughter and myself enjoy our stay. We were met at the airport and fast tracked through all the security and escorted to the Bentley for our transfer to the hotel. This was a holiday to remember and cannot wait to return. Thank you Royal Mansour for a lovely time.

The furnishing of the hotel is exceptional. The service is outstanding, but still need a bit crafting . we tried all three restaurants and the Moroccan one is our favorite. The terrace is amazing, you can spend your entire vacation lying there with some shisha and wine. Our shower was clogged though, and it ended up flooding the whole floor concierge was very attentive to our every need, and gave great recommendations (except for the dar yacout moroccan restaurant, which was not very good). Five stars, would totally come back again

The reason why I am writing this review is just to warn others... FYI this is the first negative review I am writing online, so I am not one of those reviewing and spotting all weaknesses. We visited the Royal Mansour with my partner some days ago during our holidays in Morocco. Although we had read the negative reviews online, we thought we should give it a try to have a lovely afternoon tea together and to see the premises and gardens of this beautiful hotel. BIG MISTAKE! The choice of english, moroccan and french afternoon tea was very poor and the quality of the food was much worse than you can imagine. There was not even cream with the english breakfast... While the waitress was helpful, the overall atmosphere was a negative one. We were greeted and then we had the choice of choosing between two relatively small rooms, the lounge and bar area. We went for the latter and basically this is all you see from the hotel. We felt really unwelcome and it is definitely not worth your money... Wherever you go, you are accompanied by someone who makes sure you don t visit any other room other than the lounge and bar area.. For example, you can t see the pool or even the restaurant. So if one of the reasons visiting is seeing this hotel, it will be a waste of your time. While we appreciate the aim of the hotel might be to keep privacy for its residents, this is not an acceptable way and definitely does not live up to the high standards a hotel like the Royal Mansour should have. We felt the afternoon tea was an add-on and an easy way to cash in.. Which does not really make sense when one considers the price residents must pay. However, since the quality of the afternoon tea service was exceptionally poor, it would be best to just not offer it at all. We have had amazing experiences of dinners and afternoon teas at the Ritz, Claridges, Fortnum and Mason and other places and while we were not residents, we always felt very welcome and respected. These are usually for us celebration occasions and the Royal Mansour was a similar one so this was VERY DISAPPOINTING! In general, not worth your time or your money...

It's the Thousand and One Nights, a majestic place, an art museum, a haven of peace in the heart of Marrakech. A refined and diversified cuisine. An unparalleled Spa and exemplary service worthy of grand palaces but more with the local touch. I love and highly recommend.

Worst experience ever, I called their restaurant for lunch and they said they were open and it was about 2.30 pm and said they had plenty of room. I showed up with a group of 6 and the doorman to the hotel said that all restaurants were closed and I told him it s impossible as I spoke to them 15 minutes earlier. Long story short, he was simply the rudest man I have ever spoken to in my life and me and my guests were turned away over a lie.
So I went back to my hotel at La Mamounia and inquirered to speak to their general manager and I had him call the Royal Mansour hotel and they told him restaurants were open and just very frustrated with their lies and bad treatment.
I have no doubt that this is a fine hotel but no excuse for what they did.

Execellencia, is the word I would use to define the service, facilities and services of this Palace of one thousand and one nights.
The luxury of the details, make you feel like royalty, and in summer you only share with a few more couples, who rarely see if you are in your particular Riad as I did not even want to go out to the huge pool.
I will only say to the address that is so concerned about the environment and puts a few signs every night that if we do not want to change towels and sheets that we leave hanging, because something fails, that as I happen to touch a towel and leave it is already changed, This bothers me, why the hotel and I want to save for the planet, but the plaintiffs do not respect.

I discovered this dreamy high-end venue because I've been the wedding photographer in Marrakech for a stunning couple. They have planned the henna ceremony the day before the wedding in Royal Mansour. First of all this is one of a kind location and if I need to describe it in three words is: Luxury - Classy - Peaceful Oasi. Immersed in the main center of Marrakech it is a boutique hotel that is nothing but class. The staff was excellent, the quite and peaceful courtyard is ideal for a couple of tea, The spa is just gorgeous and the food is delicious. If you are looking for an Arabian night themed venue in Marrakech it is te place.

A must visit and a must experience. There is nothing that remotely compares to the beauty of this authentic hotel and certainly nothing can remotely compare to the quality of the food and the service at the Moroccan restaurant.

Decided to visit this high end hotel as it was suggested for drinks and dinner. The highly praised & priced hotel, had some really beautiful moments but most of them where a clash of bad taste & confusing decor. Seems like the decorator could not make up his mind & remain with a theme. This beautiful location could be 10 times better, specially for the price it is. The staff is great, friendly & welcoming. The bar & drinks were great as well. The Moroccan restaurant, lacked a lot of personality & atmosphere. Again the staff & service were great & the food, eventhough not the best meal we've had, was really good. The problem with "fancy" places like this, is that the miss their true culture & start to feel like a theme park hotel in Disney or Vegas. If you want to spend that kind of money go for it, but is not a true Moroccan experience. Skip it.

The best hotel in town! It has 2 restaurants. A Mediterranean (indoor) and an Asian in the garden by the pool. In Asian the food was excellent and not so expensive for what it offers (80 per person with wine).

Of course everything is beautiful, obviously the reception is of high quality. The eyes and ears are at the party in such an enchanting setting. But I wanted to greet one of our hosts Yassine, unparalleled server. We went to enjoy a mint tea that was necessarily high quality accompanied by some Moroccan pastries. For the latter, nothing to say but for tea ... '' The drama '' ... A tea unsweetened in advance to the Moroccan, but a tea sanitized with sugar next door for tourists neophytes. Fortunately, our savior, Mr. Yassine wanted to repair this "sacrilege" and promised to give us a real, a traditional at our next visit. One might have thought a word in the air .... Yet our host has redoubled his efforts to our other visit. He recognized us. We had two delicious teas prepared in a traditional way, and one was well offered. So thank you to this model employee who wants to make appreciate the exceptional place in which he works. We will return .Thanks Yassine

Dinner at the French restaurant without fail. The service is up to the standards as well as the dishes. The desserts are excellent.
The decoration is at the height of being imagined. The finishes are perfect the craftsmen worked well. The place has its undeniable charm and should appeal to the most demanding international guests.

the opposite of a famous Mamounia palace. Several of us came for Sunday brunch. Everything is excellent and refined. Having gone there several times for an aperitif at the bar or for lunch in the garden, we have always found the same kindness. The more, you will be able to admire the know-how of the Moroccan craftsmen who made it a jewel of architecture and refinement.

I am fortunate to visit Royal Mansour several times a year. The service and staff are impeccable, food is delicious, riads are spacious with beautiful tile work, and the grounds are stunning with many tropical plants. I highly recommend staying here.

We just came for the tea ceremony (450 mad each) and it was well worth it, if nothing else just to see this hotel. We had to get reservations in advance so I recommend that and plan to spend at least an hour here. The food that went with the tea was so good that we ended up just eating that as dinner since it was filling.
