Never fails to impress any time of the year. All the family love it. Shame it's become more of a commercial attraction. The cost of admission has gone up to reflect this. When I first started going I believe it was a token 2 pence but now a family admission is an expensive day out.

What a wonderful day to be had at Kew Gardens no matter the weather. Walk around and take in the amazing views of some truly beautiful spaces.
I cannot wait to return to Kew and appreciate the opportunity that is practically on London s doorstep.

Must see. Highly recommended. It's well kept and has plenty to see. From palace to lawns and conservatory all in one. The tree top walkway is very nice and the tropical rainforest had very cool ice sculptures as well. Well worth it. Get online ticket as the queue can be long.

I wish I could spend there a full week to see every corner and any plant and tree and flower. There's so much to see and walk around that probably even a full week would not be enough. It's a little bit expensive the entrance from my point of view, but I understand that looking after a similar park and all its greens is not easy.
Definitely to be visited in a nice sunny day. Enjoy!

Fantastic afternoon out. Plan to spend several hours checking out the gardens and greenhouses. Sadly the treetop walkway was closed the day I went.

Bring a picnic as the food offering is pricey. Very reasonable student ticket prices though.

The Chihuly sculptures are amazing and fit so well into the beautiful gardens. Fantastic facilities, beautiful buildings, beautiful plants and flowers. Definitely one of my favourite places in London on a sunny day.
Make sure you do the treetop walkway too!

Went to Christmas at Kew and had a great time - a really well paced walk with something nice and festive to look at and listen to around every corner. Would allow about 3-4 hours to make the most of it if you want to stop and eat and drink and take photos along the way. You could probably power through it in an hour if you wanted but that would miss the point entirely. Highly recommended even at the initially high seeming price

This is a lovely place! There are some great sights to see. It feels great and walking to the gardens from the station was also nice as the neighbouring areas. The garden is beautiful, the buildings look nice and you can see families and children having a good time. This is a place I strongly recommend!

Lovely day out. Really is a full day! Lots to see for adults and kids. Reasonably priced, parking is OK, but can be tricky to find a slot at times. You must book in advance, Covid19 restrictions. Social distancing is managed well, easy in such a vast outdoor space.

Absolutely wonderful each and every time no matter the weather or the season.
This place has so much to offer and you always feel like you discovered something new after every visit.
Best way to enjoy the gardens without making a huge hole in your budget through the year is to become a member. Money well spent and by setting DD you won't even have to worry about the renewal as they will send you the card so promptly.

Loved walking all day through the beautiful trees found the red woods.
The big conservatory full of plants great!
Was however very disappointed not to see the pots and flower beds empty. Surely they could have made it welcoming even in the current climet. That made it 4 stars for me.

Kew is easy to get to and just a short walk from the tube station. When we went, the Chihuly glass art exhibition was throughout the Gardens and in the Temperate House. This made our visit. The glass work is incredible and so unique and whimsical. Seeing all of the pieces were definitely the highlight of our visit.

We climbed 250 steps to get to the top of the Pagoda but it isn t included in the ticket price, visitors have to pay extra for that. Great views from the top but not much room to walk around when it s crowded. Definitely a challenge that s worthwhile.

There weren t as many flowers as we had hoped but it s still a beautiful walk through the trees. There are ponds along the way and we even saw baby swans and a peacock.

Four stars instead of five because there weren t areas except the Victoria exit/entrance to get a drink and walk. There was a sit down restaurant where visitors can get a drink but it s waiter service only and when we popped in there were waiters fighting, one yelled at customers and threw a menu down. Needless to say, after seeing that behavior we opted not to stay. Staff issues shouldn t spill over and affect potential customers.

Definitely a peaceful place to visit with a lot of interesting things to see if you go when the Chihuly exhibit is still there.

Wonderful displays and great variety of plants and trees. The land train is very good value and the commentary is very informative. Can be a bit of a squeeze when busy, but well worth the trip. Lots to see and do. Learned a lot and would come again. Thoroughly recommended.

Arrived at Kew Gardens and I must admit they are stunning the ideal place to take the family on a nice day to have a picnic and and see the historic gardens.

If you wish to pitch Kew Gardens as a family day out then make it more affordable to them and stop exploiting them.

My first and last ever visit which is such a shame.

What a great day out.

What a great day out.
So much to do. So much to see. A day is not long enough to enjoy the wonderful Kew Gardens.
From the Palm House, through to the Temperate House onto Kew Palace.
Enjoy a full day and then come back again.

Great day out, particularly in good weather. The grounds are large so never seemed busy, despite the large numbers that must have been in. The Palm House was fascinating, the variety of trees and plants fantastic - though extremely hot on the top walkway! Outside, the raised tree walk was good, quite a high platform through the tree tops. It was a bit busier in the Temperate House, but again lots to look at. There were eating places in the gardens, but we took a picnic like a lot of others and ate by the lake. There is some free parking on streets outside or a Pay and Display near by.

You have to visit this place in your life. It's a full day event. After 20 visits, we can finally say that all of the garden has been covered. The year pass is great value for money and you also get access to the sister site 'Wakehurst Garden'. It's better to bring your own food and have a picnic. There is far too much to cover in one day.

Great summer events on including Kew the Music. Definitely something not to be missed.
Have also visited before to have a look round the beautiful gardens.
If you dont feel like walking around the several hundred acre gardens, there are several mini electric trains that will ferry you around accompanied by a tour guide that was very informative.
I cant wait to visit again!!

My goal was to visit the two major glasshouses but I found a surprise, a Chihully exhibit was happening. The Temperate House the worlds largest glasshouse took 5 years to renovate and had multiple art glass displays fit in amongst the plants. What a delight to find displays nestled in amongst the plants. The Palm House would seem to be the next building to be renovated but makes you feel like you are living in another time.
As you wonder the grounds the Chihully art seemed to pop up everywhere. So glad I didn t miss visiting Kew Gardens, a must indeed.

Magical, wonderful place. The big buildings were all closed but we found many small paths to wander and explore, each with little treasures to discover.

The history is also impressive, with trees that are hundreds of years old. I could spend days happily wandering. I will be sure to return as soon as I can.

Lovely gardens to walk around, particularly if the weather is good. This was our second visit to Kew, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Bring your own food and drinks as the prices in the cafe are extortionate.

Gardens are impressive but parking here was a nightmare. You book tickets online then we spent 1.5 hours driving round looking for a parking space. Food on site is ok but very over priced. The sculpture (glass) exhibition they have on at the moment is amazing. The new children's garden is good, but not so much for my 9 year old.... style over substance.

Lovely place to visit, even during the winter. Just be careful to check which areas are open, as they do close some during the winter. It's well worth the entrance fee to see all of the interesting plants they have. Even if you aren't an avid horticulturalist you will be intrigued by seeing coffee trees, cocoa trees, living plants etc.

I have visited Kew on a number of occasions but this last visit was the first time I have been able to go into the Temperate House which has been shut for a 5 year refurbishment.

This will be even better in a few years as the plants establish themselves but for now you get a great view of the renovation works which are very impressive.

The gardens themselves seem to be having a lot of money put into them with both the Pagoda and Pavilion restaurant undergoing refurbishment.

I always find this a very pleasant place to visit.

I always love Kew there's something beautiful whatever time of year you go. In the winter with the warmth of the glasshouses, the beautiful fresh flowers of spring, the lovely little Lilly house in summer and the amazing autumn leaves. Don't just buy a ticket become a friend!

A truly incredible place, worth setting aside a full day to enjoy. For me, the highlights were the Princess of Wales Conservatory greenhouse and the woodland walk. I went in August so it was more arbotetum than garden, but there was still plenty to see. I would reverse the recommended route on the map (start with the Princess of Wales Conservatory and go counterclockwise), as the greenhouses close before the park does, so you don't want to leave them to the end.

Most of the main attractions are closed or limited due to covid 19. I understand the need to be safe but as most things are outdoors I think more could have been done to open attractions safely. No acess to the great pagoda, tree top walk or giant badger enclosure.

This is a great way to spend a day in London. The gardens are lovely. We booked online so entry was slightly cheaper & straightforward. We also booked the land train which we found very useful as it gave an overview of the whole gardens - which are extensive - and then we used it to hop on/off as required. It was helpful to have the main features pointed out by the train driver. Facilities are excellent. The treetop walk, while not extensive, was worthwhile. I would have enjoyed booking in for one of the events but that would require more planning than we did.

Kew Royal Botanical Gardens is so huge, so diverse and rich in species it is hard to really describe.

It holds the world s largest collection of living plants. Founded in 1840 from the exotic garden at Kew Park in Richmond upon Thames, its collections include more than 30,000 different species of plants, while the herbarium has over seven million (7,000,000) preserved plant specimens.

It is worth a visit at any time of year, but especially in late May/June.

Amazing. Plants are so wonderful. Seeing so many different kinds is so special. Book a slot online, ques are light loads of space to move around in once your inside. Get there as early as possible and honestly you will be there all day. Pick a day when the weather is good. Bring plenty of water and make sure that you are wearing a pair of comfortable shoes.

The first outing since lockdown. Kew handled the distancing. Very well. We didn't mind that the glasshouses were closed. We enjoyed walking round the gardens, discovering new areas despite many previous visits. Enough refreshments and toilets available and we'll managed.

Had a wonderful few hours here on the 21st of this month. The staff are doing a wonderful job. My friend managed to poke her eye in the palm house while looking at a sign about dinosaurs so maybe next time I'll get her a face shield! Wish I lived closer.
