Zero star is a must for this company. As for safety, they're doing demolition as tenants still living within close proximity of said construction. All types of dust particles flying around, that not correct. Starting off so unprofessionally let's me know not to deal with this company. Seems as though they're not concerned with tenants health. Is not resident friendly evasive to privacy , not educated on people living with disabilities . Issues with false evictions, rapid pesticide , toxic chemicals and service issues. The public private residents of color and lgqbt are targeted by predominant male staff and service providers. And force slot of disparate tactics upon homeless and other person's. Rules and regulations are enforced and false eviction are utilized during COVID times to shut complaining or reporting folks ...concerned that this corporation uses such poor application of HUD laws and persons with dark affluence to hurt folks that ask for information and appeal such negligence and mistreatments without resolves .

I had been messaging them on FB for hours, with VIDEOS AND PICTURES of what is going on at their Pompano Beach location City Vista & they completely ignored everything. Not until I threatened to send screenshots worldwide. Shame on all of you at Royal American!
I lived in Gateway of St Joe, a property in Port Saint Joe, FL for almost a year and a half. We changed property managers in about November or December of 2017. Every inspection we had I passed because I knew the rules and I never bothered anyone. We were supposed to have random inspections in the month of October. October 10, 2018 we got hit really hard by hurricane Michael. I was in the middle of cleaning my apartment to get ready for inspections, but when they called and said we had to evacuate. It was mandatory. I dropped everything I was doing, packed my four kids, and left. When I returned a week later on a Tuesday night after the hurricane and after they let everyone know it was safe to return and that lights and water were back on. I left my apartment to gather supplies and cleaning products to finish my apartment where I had left off. That following Monday the property manager informed me quite rudely that I was getting evicted for an untidy apartment and lied even further saying she sent me notices that my apartment was unkempt in previous months. I called corporate to see what they could do for me because there is no where to go down here and that I am pregnant made it so much worse. They informed me that the property manager had written me up every month this year. I explained to them if that were possible she would had evicted me. Not only that, the fact that I have pictures of every inspection that she had done. No one ever called me back or tried to at least help me. They are garbage and care nothing for the tenants. They didn t even at least put the inspection off until residents got back to put the pieces of their life back together. A lot of people got evicted and still have no where to go. I and probably more than a few other families are homeless or have had to relocate due to their lack of empathy for those who only had that one place to go and if I could I would give them zero stars.
I would like to thank and recommend Royal American ! Recently they were hired to replace 2 inch water pipes in front of my home and put in new water mains. They let me know throughput this process what was going on, what to expect and restored our properties to pre work condition. This included repair of driveways, sod installation and limb removal and digging. It was very apparent the pride they not only took in their work, but their mission to please the homeowners. They did a beautiful job of the fire hydrant and cement markers around it. The workers talked of their loyalty to the company and how RA had helped them after Hurricane Micheal. Having happy loyal employees says everything about the company. I would like to commend RA on a job well done on Boat Race Rd. Callaway. Special shout-out to Steve Southerland who I spoke with about debris that had chain link fence needing removal. It was taking care of promptly and professionally and with courtesy .
Very unprofessional! They have gotten away with too much unlawful wrong doings. But this is one person that will not let them get away with what they did to me or any one else. It's sad when your lawyer can't get documents they ask for because they're doing illegal leases.
They play favorites, threaten tenants, and are absolutely HORRIBLE to have to live under. I'll be looking to relocate to anywhere that isnt owned by this company. Loved living here for 7 almost 8 years and all of a sudden they are trying to force out all of the older tenants. Im retaining an atty to get this taken care of. These people are RIDICULOUS AND HORRIBLE. ID YOU'RE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT OR A PLACE TO LIVE THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE PLACE TO APPLY OR LIVE. PERIOD.
Royal American, and City Vista are breaking Florida Statute 399, along with other infractions. The residents of City Vista will no longer accept this behavior, and have gone to the city of Pompano, and Broward County. We ve assembled 5 neighbors so far & will be requesting to speak to officials regarding Royal American, if anyone else would like to join with any of their stories, it d make our voices in Pompano a little stronger. Terrible people all around. Go elsewhere. Not just terrible in Florida.
Terrible service! We stayed at The Boardwalk condos in Panama City. The manager at Royal America was very rude at check in. She was also not helpful when we found ROACHES IN our condo. Not just a couple A LOT of them. It took them 3 days to come spray!! They only came then because I kept calling! The manager was suppose to get back with me on how she was going to fix our price but never did. Finally on the 4th day I drove over to the office while my family went on to the beach. I missed over an hour of vacation time with my kids because she could not pick up the phone and call me! She then acted like I was being unreasonable. She gave us 20% back. I told her that doesn't even cover 1 night! She went on to say 20% was her max she was aloud to do. Then once I ws wanted to speak with someone else over her. She did 25%!! I felt like she lied to me and really didn't care. She acted like she had never heard of ROACHES being in the condos. Which I now know this is nothing new. I feel like 25% was not enough. We paid way to much to stay in the condos! I really think upper management should contact me!!
