However, the customer service was lacking. When I called to ask a question, I was put on hold for a long time and the representative was not very helpful. Overall, it was an okay experience.

If I could give less stars I would! This company had SHADY business practices. Our trip got cancelled due to Covid 19, of course, and instead of refunding they offered rovia bucks which is basically credits. Which wasn t ideal but acceptable....UNTIL they tell you that you have to pay out of pocket for hotels THEN they reimburse you. What?! What kind of credit system is that?
Then we were told they can submit a request for cash....but it may not be approved. Why? It s OUR money, we spent, and have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Can t even credit in a decent way.

The best! I got to take my mom to a vacation that I honestly couldn t afford regular price!! I couldn t afford to visit with my mom for many years but now I took her to the Red Sea in Israel, and instead of paying more than $2500 I paid $750 for me and my mom both. It was 5 days and 4 nights, at end of August and I ve seen it s one of the most expensive times to go. It was mostly the best time ever because my mom has a stomach issues and the chef personally made for her special food for her special diet. It was so easy and not a problem like I expected it to be. So thankful for this amazing trip with my mom and thanks Rovia for making my mom comfortable and enjoy her trip so much!!!!!!!!
Rovia gets a 1 star rating from me. I have gone on 3 dremtrips so far and I am going on my 4th 5/4/18. Being a part of the worldventures organization has been great, but my experience with Rovia not so much.
I mixed up the dates and missed the deadline to set up transportation, but I did not feel that Rovia staff members were trying their best to try and arrange transport for my party and I. They were very clear and quick to tell me what could not be done because of the terms and conditions I agreed to when purchasing the dream trip, which I was totally aware of; hints this why i called.
After much persistence in convincing the agent that someone could do something if they would please just go the extra mile, they sold me a dream. Gave me inaccurate information and had me waiting for a response I never received. Upon my follow up call I was reminded of the terms and conditions i agreed to and had to plead once again for the agent to try. I am now traveling from Dallas to Malaysia a place I've never been, having to figure out how to reach my hotel which is an hour from the airport.
I have witnessed the dreamtrip guides work out transportation for travelers in my same situation and even food accomodations. I have experienced the transportation vans that only had one party at pick up, yet Rovia corporate were very firm in informing me that nothing could be done since I missed the deadline I agreed to.
If was not too late I would have canceled my trip all together and gotten a full refund, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of money to give. I will make something happen because I don't have a choice, but I just wanted to inform anyone that makes the ultimate mistake of getting your dates mixed up with the deadlines provided that you "agreed to the terms of". Please don't expect Rovia to help you or go the extra mile, no matter how far or close you may be traveling to if it's outside of what you agreed to a purchase....maybe if you were Wayne Nugent.
