5 star incredible pet care! Whether it is for daycare, weekend or weeklong our dog Dash loves the experience. The staff is very knowledgable, courteous and helpful. We couldn't be happier with the facility and service we receive at Rover Oaks!

Professional, Customer Oriented and Clean.
We use the Day Care and Lodging with confidence our pet is in best of care. The plentiful staff truly care for the animals and have solid procedure and policy in place to protect and care for the animals. The daycare environment has plenty of space, obstacle gear and cover for the weather (including cooling pools). Couldn't be happier with the way our pet is managed and the customer service delivery to the pet owner (me)!

Friendly staff, great location and my aussie seems to really love going to day care. Staff actually remember dogs names so thats a plus. I recommend Rover Oaks for anyone looking for a place to give their dog some play time. half days are also available and for $20 you cant beat it. Can be a little pricey if you plan on being a regular.

We just completed a 6 part puppy training class at Rover Oaks Houston with our 10 week old puppy, Lucca and we are thrilled! Monica Body was the leader of the 6 week long class series. Monica was recommended to us by a well established animal behaviorist in Houston which is how we ended up at Rover Oaks. It was also a pleasure having Amanda the intern helping in the class.

Although we've raised puppies before we knew we had a particular challenge because our puppy, Lucca, was born blind. Monica took this in stride and helped integrate Lucca into the class just like any other puppy.

Monica was able to think outside the box to help Lucca succeed in learning new skills and adjusted for his blindness whenever a particular exercise called for eye contact to help accomplish it.

Because of our experience with Monica we intend on signing Lucca up for the next level of training.

Thank you Monica and thanks to the entire staff at Rover Oaks who was welcoming and enthusiastic.

Susan Zarate, Kathryn Crowder and Lucca!

I have been bringing my golden doodle Molly to Rover Oaks weekly for day care for the past year and a half. She jumps out of the car and runs to the door and will even push the door open herself if I don't get there fast enough. She is greeted by name, and after she says her hellos to all of the attendants, she is ready to run and exercise for the rest of the day. Since she is so comfortable with the facility, I recently started using them for her grooming and have been very impressed with the professionalism of the groomer and management. I have boarded her at Rover Oaks, and was pleased and would use them even more often if they had earlier drop off times and later pick up times. When she was boarded, she got an extra snack and bedtime story at her tuck-in time. My dog absolutely loves going to Rover Oaks!

We take our dog for day care once per week and board her here every time we are out of town. The staff is always very friendly and provides us with updates on how our dog's behavior and mood while she was with them. They even help reinforce a lot of the training we do with her at home. Our dog even knows "Rover Oaks" by name at this point and gets excited whenever she hears it.

My dog was a very nervous, rambunctious puppy when we rescued him, but the trainers here helped us so much! One trainer specifically, Quandel, was extremely attentive and informative. He made sure that we understood the dog psychology behind all of their training techniques so that we could be confident when practicing with our dog at home. With his help, our dog was able to pass the AKC canine good citizen test, which I never expected.
My dog also loved the daycare program and being part of the pack of dogs. He was always well taken care of, like one of their family members, and he always came home worn out. We are so grateful to Rover Oaks!

My family has been taking our dogs to Rover Oaks for well over 10 years. Our dogs are always so happy when we drop them off and often come greet us with a festive bandana around their necks when we pick them up! The staff is incredibly caring and treat our dogs with as much love as we do. I would recommend Rover Oaks to anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and safe place to board their dogs!

The people that work here are exceptional. Either if it's for day care or grooming, my doggy is always so happy when I pick him up and so exited when I drop him off. The grooming salon has done an amazing job every single time and they make sure I'm happy and specially that my dog is happy. Ashley always make her best job to accommodate your needs as a pet mom. This place is awesome!

Rover Oaks Pet Resort is awesome, especially their daycare!!
My rottweiler had failed the social evaluation at another highly rated pet resort because she was too shy and didn t interact with other dogs. They said her breed was not a fit for their facility because she could be aggressive. My husband and I were shocked because she is a very sweet and friendly dog.
We took her to Rover Oaks and she presented the same issue, being too shy. However, they didn't give up on my dog. Instead, they came up with a developmental plan for her to slowly get her comfortable with other dogs and daycare activities. Eliot went above and beyond for my dog and helped her develop her social skills and confidence in a very short amount of time.
My dog LOVES going to daycare once a week, and everyone at Rover Oaks loves when she is there. Without the development program Eliot created for my dog, she would have never been able to attend daycare or dog parks. We are very grateful for the work Eliot did with our dog.

Okay so a year later things have really taken a turn for the worse. First, my groomer Leslie quit. Grooming after that has been horrible- uneven, not what a requested and lots of sprigs everywhere. They fixed it but still ended up with hair cut not what was discussed. Second, my dog contracted a horrible intestinal infection that was going around the doggie daycare. I supplied vet lab results and was told several dogs had it - only when I let them know my dog had been sick and asked had any other dogs been sick. Rover Oaks never notified folks that there was a contagious infection (diarrhea and vomiting for prolonged period) was a problem in doggy day care. Months later I discover that this infection was the possible cause for pancreatitis. My dog has very restricted diet and is not overweight or has any other possible causes. Except for one of the last times we visited and he was limping at the end of the day- those two doggie day care employees shrugged and didn't seem concerned. I monitored and he seemed ok, but shortly thereafter he had the diagnosis of pancreatitis. Again I called to notify doggy day care of his illness and was told several dogs had the same pancreatitis. Again dog owners were not notified. This is a life threatening diagnosis if not caught early. They said they would call my vet, but no follow through and when we discussed,Elliot denied that any other dogs were affected. So, four stories with bad results. I never asked for reimbursement, just that dog owners are notified so they can take action if needed. Most of the doggie daycare staff and all of the front desk staff are very professional. Not so sure about management, based on their decisions to not let folks know when there are sick dogs. Although my dog loved the doggie day care and facilities, I can't risk his being exposed to sick dogs, especially when it is a serious illness.

Great service. Amazing people. They offered special TLC to our senior Labrador. Also very good at keeping an eye on our young Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They do require special attention and care. I will highly recommended. They even celebrated Aza s Birthday. Thank you!

This excellent facility has highly trained staff who leave nothing to chance. Our first check in procedure impressed me.They take great care to be sure each pet is healthy and up to date on its vaccinations, and inquire about the pet's routine and food preferences, etc. They make sure each pet will be in a healthy environment.

My little rescued dog has some separation anxiety issues, but it was clear when I picked her up that she had been given great care and loving attention. She was very happy to see me but not frantic to leave!

It was a very sweet touch to be given a little bouquet of flowers and chocolates with a tag that said, "Happy Mothers Day from the Dog."

I was also impressed with the number of staff at the desk taking in and discharging furry guests. They are very alert. An owner who had picked up a large dog and already checked out, lost control of it temporarily in the parking lot. Four of the staff were about to rush out to help when the owner grabbed the dog and safely got it in the car. They really care about their clients.

My pet Oreo was there recently at the groomers. They did a wonderful job. They couldn't get tooi do his nails as he was very anxious and nervous but they offered to do it after a few days for free of cost. They take good care of your loved animals there. The place ia very clean and staff is very friendly.

Rover Oaks is absolutely amazing. We have been taking our puppy here for doggie day care as well as boarding for one weekend and we are soooo happy with the team at Rover Oaks. We are extremely picky about where we leave our sweet puppy and I can tell you I trust them completely. I will not take him anywhere else! The interior is very clean and organized and the exterior has a lot of grass and a splash pool for dogs to run around. The team is extremely friendly and responsive. I call during the day to check on our little guy when he is in daycare and a day care member always answers the phone and gives me an update. They are happy to accommodate your dog's needs and work with your schedule. Our puppy wags his tail and gets so excited when we pull up to Rover Oaks. He is loving group play with other dogs his age! If you are looking for a great, trustworthy place for boarding, training or daycare for your dog, look no further! Rover Oaks is the best in Houston.

Rover Oaks is the best doggy daycare in all of Houston! Lucy has always had some separation anxiety from me but really enjoys other dogs and she has blossomed at day care! The staff is phenomenal and they give her so much love and have great concern and compassion for all the dogs they care for in fact I think Lucy and I both wish she could attend many more days a week!

I also am very impressed and blown away by the care given while Lucy has boarded with rover Oaks. The last time she was boarded her stay landed right in the middle of Hurricane Harvey. Being away from her was the worst feeling but I felt so comforted because I had rover Oaks staff call me each day to give me a report on how she was coping and how everything was going. They eases her rain anxiety and gave her her rain anxiety medication minimally because their presence was calming enough for her. They had an evacuation plan if needed but they also had staff stay around the clock to care for all the animals. The dedication to the care of those animals there during that time was above and beyond!!

Lucy and me (her human) are simply obsessed with Rover Oaks and she even gets groomed there and she has some skin allergies and they are always aware and use her special shampoo and report to me if anything seems to be flaring up. I love the grooming department.

Overall they offer great quality care and have amazing passionate employees!

We boarded our pup with Rover Oaks while on vacation, and they took wonderful care of him! The facilities are clean, they are incredibly professional/friendly, and Phoenix came home exhausted, healthy, and happy. The customer service is excellent as well. We now use them for Doggy Daycare and grooming. Rover Oaks is officially our go-to for our sweet pup.

We've been a client of Rover Oaks for 4yrs and cannot speak more highly of the organization. Our dog enjoys his weekly trips to Doggy DayCare and is always well taken care when he gets to stay for longer visits.

Today was my first time using Rover Oaks for my dog and I had a wonderful experience. I gave my dog a few treats before dropping him off and he got motion sickness on the way there and vomited in his crate. When we got there the staff was very courteous and offered to hose down the crate, wash the leash, and rinse off our dog for no extra charge.

The facility is very clean and has no odor whatsoever. You wouldn t even know it was a boarding facility by walking in the lobby!

The staff was very friendly which helped my dog to lose some of the anxiety he was having. The staff was efficient and was a great help in the boarding process

I HIGHLY recommend considering Rover Oaks when looking into boarding for your dog(s)!!

My Luna spent the week at rover oaks. When I picked her up she was happy and had no complaints. I also used the visit for her to get a haircut and wash, and she turned out beautiful. We have already booked Rover Oaks for our next trip.

We went to Austin City Limits recently and needed somewhere trustworthy to take the dogs. I had heard great things and they were all true. While it is a little on the pricey side the dogs appeared to be happy and well taken care of. They sent really nice update about the dogs and I would definitely take them back next time I go out of town.

We have been going there for 12 years with Savannah. She was one of the first clients there and was actually recruited by Jim Burwell!! We are treated so well, and the staff is very accomodating to our needs and that of Savannah as she has become more senior!! There is no question this is the standard for doggy day care and boarding!!

We took our puppy to the 5 week training course and she loved going to see Kendall and her other friends every day. Kendall did a great job training and providing daily feedback to help with continued training at home.

Oakley had a Spa Day this week on our 1st visit to Rover Oaks where she was groomed by Leslie. What a great experience as we dropped her off not really knowing what to expect and ended up with a really happy dog with a great new cut. The staff was so helpful in providing suggestions for what they thought would look good on Oakley which we appreciated since Oakley does not go regularly to groomers so we didn't know what to request. Thank you guys!

Our pups have been going to Rover Oaks two days a week and they appear to enjoy it as they come back tired most of the time. It would be nice for Rover Oaks to install cameras so we can see how are pups are doing during the day like most other daycares. I have brought this up repeatedly with management but with no success.

Rover Oaks takes amazing care of our puppy, Snacks! The staff is always friendly, accommodating & attentive. The facility is clean & never smells like so many doggy hotels & daycares do. Snacks enjoys daycare and overnight stays at Rover Oaks and we are comforted that we can always check in on him and know that he's being taken care of like he was at home.

I cannot say enough good things about Rover Oaks Houston, my dogs' second home. It is so hard for me to feel comfortable leaving my babies in someone else's care, but the staff at Rover Oaks has exceeded my expectations since day one. Our family utilizes their grooming services monthly (Ashley is the best!), we have done the lodge and learn training program, and we also board our dogs here every time we leave town. The staff is so patient, kind, and accommodating. I feel like everyone knows my babies on a personal level and it makes them, myself, and my husband feel so special. Thank you Rover Oaks for being a place we can trust and rely on 100% of the time! My babies are never happier than when I pick them up from a visit!

My dog and I love Rover Oaks! My dog has been boarding there for a few years and for the past year or so has been going to doggie daycare two times a week. He loves it. He comes home tired after a fun day with his puppy friends and is well behaved the rest of the night!

I know that when I bring my Pug, Beignet, to stay at Rover Oaks, she is going to be taken care of at all times. My Pug is a geriatric dog and is visually impaired. She gets cuddles and treats and socializes with the other puppies. Rover Oaks is more expensive than other places, but the care they give to your pet while you are gone is second to none.

I left my young dog there for a Lodge and Learn session that was about 2 weeks long. At the end she could sit (which she could do already), touch a hand target (again, she could already do), and sometimes walk straight on the leash. I really needed her to walk straight and not pull me because I'm weak on my right side. When I picked her up the trainer said she was not completely satisfied with how my dog was on the leash so if I wanted to bring her back after trying to walk her at home I could. I brought her back a couple weeks later but that trainer wasn't there anymore so I had to pay for her "refresher course" with another trainer even though she wasn't fully trained to begin with. And to top it all off, it wasn't until I got her home that I realized they hadn't packed her gentle leader in her bag so I had to call them back and they didn't know where it was. I couldn't take my dog for long walks without it because it's the only thing that prevents her from pulling me. After a week they finally found it and sent it to me. I feel like I wasted over $1,000 on training when all I really needed was a $20 piece of equipment.

For boarding or doggy daycare this place is fine but I wouldn't recommend them for training.
