Horrible! The most cold hearted ignorant people I have ever dealt with in my life. Would never recommend them. Were unable to help out a innocent child to take her to school everyday. Due to a situation out of the childs control. Had to give 1 star just to post but don't want any stars for them:(

Honestly, the drivers and the call staff are decent.

However, Cathy Peron, who is the so-called coordinator for disability services, is the most ignorant and thoroughly incompetent person when it comes to dealing with persons with disabilities.

Instead of apologizing for a mistake made on her end, she will instead interrogate the caller and insinuate they are not actually disabled if they can walk across the street (stating she needs information regarding grocery and pharmacy, which is highly intrusive and none of her business, though I moved somewhere where both are across the street specifically because I cannot travel long distances I also do not do my own grocery shopping, I have someone help me with that as I cannot carry anything over 5 lbs., but again, this is none of Cathy s business, as I offered to provide documentation of my disability, including my most recent MRI imaging, and she flippantly stated that MRI doesn t tell her anything [so on top of being blatantly insensitive to the needs of the disabled, she is also a moron who is unfamiliar with basic medical testing.]

Active, empathetic listening is clearly not one of Cathy s strengths, so she should not be working as a coordinator for people who have disabilities, as I felt humiliated and misunderstood during the entirety of the call, which caused me to become angry and upset with her for something which was a mistake on /her/ end, not mine, which again, she never apologized for.

The first young lady I spoke to I felt had more understanding over the situation, despite also being unable to resolve it, at the very least she practiced active listening and empathy. This person /should/ be the supervisor, not Cathy, as Cathy has proven herself incompetent, insensitive, and inappropriate.

I worked in telemarketing, so I know all about difficult clients, some of which had legitimate grievances, others which did not. However, we never asked intrusive questions and we never called into question whether they were disabled, especially when they volunteered to provide this information.

I believe Cathy Peron is a detriment to Rover and to the Krapf company as a whole, and I do not care how long she has worked there. The behaviour she exhibited today crossed a line, and a mere warning is insufficient. She should not be in charge of anything to do with disabled people we are already sufficiently marginalized in society, and we do not need people of her stock adding fuel to that fire.

Perhaps it is possible she has skills as a coordinator which would be useful elsewhere, but she lacks the empathy to work with disabled individuals, as she exhibited today when she took the liberty to interrogate me and ask such improper questions which are none of her concern, taking advantage of the fact she knows my address. It is also the zenith of idiocy to compare a 10 minute walk to a pharmacy literally adjacent one s house to a long trip involving making a connection between two buses, both of which have truly asinine scheduling, and one of which (the Rover A line) has a stop where I would need to /stand/ in order to catch it. Physically, I cannot do this. If I could, I would, as it would save me the time of enduring the other passengers drop offs, some of which are quite far from where I m headed.

However, this is beyond my regular physical ability (chronic pain fluctuates, but the majority of days are not good days, hence the need for rover or uber, when beforehand, I used to take the bus or even walk places), and I ve no idea whether Peron was being cruel in her frankly inane suggestion or whether she s truly dense enough to unironically make such comparisons, but either scenario is grounds for immediate removal, if not for Title IV violation (which, in my opinion, humiliating and talking down to a disabled person and insinuating they are a liar would be certainly covers), then for sheer idiocy.

Most drivers are lovely, as are most call staff. They deserve 5 stars. The problem here is at the top, sadly. Specifically, Cathy Peron.

Thank you for taking such good care of my mother as she rides with you on a regular basis. She left her phone on the Rover recently and all your staff were so kind when I called to explain. You found the phone and she is happy that she will not have to buy and get use to a new phone. My mother also enjoys meeting and talking to her drivers each day. Thank you for your kind and quick responses!
