Great venue in a great location. The events are always well organised and sound great
Fantastic central circular space held up by pillars and girders that could be the interior ceiling of the Dr's TARDIS. Has awesome acoustics, lighting and pyrotechnics.
Have seen an array of gigs and one off events here over the years. The most memorable one was The Alternative Miss World Show.
Brilliant venue whether standing or seated. With a wonderful vibe.
Can wait a long time to retrieve your coats. Toilets are kept clean even on the busiest of nights ; impressive.
Staff are friendly, approachable and informative.
A Victorian building that was originally designed to turn trains around.
In close proximity to Camden Market, Primrose Hill and Kentish Town.
Nearest tube station is Chalk Farm.
Watched Jamiroquai, bar was OK, sound average, plus point was smoking area.
Great venue. Brilliant location. I've only seen the sackler space which is a nice small space with comfy seats. Bar is cosy and moderately priced. Security staff are kind of annoying and intense but it beats a slap in the face with a hard brush!
Saw bloc party wad brilliant excellent venue. Great bar good beer
Fabulous venue. Easy to access and plenty of eateries nearby.
Even the security staff were friendly!
Great place to spend time with friends or family, they have a range of table games to play with and have some fun...
Great place to collaborate with musicians and make music
The building is wonderful but isn't entirety suited to the numbers of people that attend events here. It can take ages to get served at the small bar areas and the toilets also seen inadequate for the venue. The building does feature a large number of pillars that limit the number of good views of the stage.
Nice venue but they need to cater better for the few opera performances that they do.
Reaching one's sit is a bit convoluted as the bar is hopelessly understaffed, they could help themselves by putting a few machines around the venue.
I saw one of the most beautiful shows ever ... LEXICON
Love this place always a good crowd in here and of course plenty of places to go before you get here
I attended the Roundhouse on the Sunday during the annual rock festival Desertfest. The line up for the day was stellar. Arriving at the venue your greeted by very nice security and quickly processed. Drinks are the going rate for such venues around the country these days. Inside the arena was nicely chilled and I couldn't wait for some of my favourite bands to hit the stage. Then it happened!!! The sound was shocking very muddy and vocals you couldn't make out. Utterly disappointed. Over the years this place has gained an iconic reputation as one of the best concert arenas in London, but not for me I'm afraid to say. Left early missed bands I never thought I would get to see as it was unbearable.
I always enjoy a gig at the Roundhouse. My one rather big critique is that the sound for the past few gigs I've attended has been subpar not loud enough, to the extent other guests having a conversation can disrupt the experience. The mix is also very muddy.
Matt Maltese and The Lemon Twigs were both incredible, as always!!
Good venue, friendly staff. Downstairs standing has lots of space with bars at the back. Never feels too crowded. Seats upstairs provide good views from the middle, but ones to the sides may have lighting rigs/speaker stacks causing some obstruction.
GREAT VENUE!! BIG ENOUGH TO IMPRESS BUT NOT OVERLY BIG. GREAT LIGHTS EFFECTS, CLEAN TOILETS, GREAT BAR WITH LONG QUES
It's definitely gone corporate, but it carries everything off it does with professionalism but sadly not much character save for the performance space itself
Awesome sound quality, love the place will go again soon!
Awesome place with great bands and events at affordable prices
My favourite music venue in London. The acoustics are perfection.
What a lovely venue excellent sound with historic surroundings
I went to see Barbershop Chronicles. The show was amazing and the layout of the theatre really added to the experience. Customer service and facilities were also great. I'm already on the lookout for more theatre shows at this venue.
Spectacular venue, but the acoustics are a bit variable!
Amazing service for people with disabilities. Very impressed with this venue and the sound quality was superb!
You have to go at least once in your life time or you are missing out on something amazing!
First time at this venue. Staff lovely and helpful, really accommodating. Have already decided that this is a venue I'll revisit!
Their approach to accessibility is second to none and this is the most inclusive venue in the UK
A proper gem for young artists whether they be musicians, producers, filmakers or writers. They have a youth membership for people under 25 which is called the "Young Artists Membership" so if you're reading this and wanting to go into the arts then go for it. Apart from that they have a huge number of fantastic gigs going on as well as music festivals in the summer.
Great venue. I've visited it on a number of occasions to see dance and theatrical productions. It's also very close to very good selection of restaurants, bars and live music venues. Great place with lots of atmosphere!
It was an amazing experience to see Dido live for the first time in my life. The venue isn't huge but it produces a lovely atmosphere for the artists. There's a decent view from the gallery of you are seated. I recommend it.
Fantastic event and the venue is awesome , couldn't ask for more
AMAZING ! I have no other words ! The staff is so friendly and this venue is beautiful. What a great experience ! The chairs are so comfy you don t even want to go when it s time to leave. I highly recommend this place. I went to watch The Greatest Showman and the sing along parts were just the best, it made the experience even better. I will definitely come back !
Epic venue, fantastic sound, quality internal bars.
What was a great venue has been gentrified and sanitised. If you go to any kind of music event, either do not have a beer or spend half the evening in long queues waiting for a drink. Ridiculous service and over the top security checks!
Sound isn't great here for gigs and neither is exiting the venue
Amazing cafe/bar downstairs and they consistently produce high quality shows all year round.
Fantastic music venu, I have always been in the main standing area, like most, provides a great atmosphere and you feel very involved with anyone playing.
Multiple bars queues can be long outside the main arena however I usually go through for fairly quick service. On the matter of queues there are usually fairly significant ones outside so get there early if you want to avoid!
Amazing venue perfect for any occasion wanting to make a grand experience for their guests
Great intimate venue, great for feeling close to the music. Saw Friendly Fires here and it was amazing energy, especially when the singer came into the crowd.
Word of advice - travel light, dont take a bag or coat as the cloakroom queue at the end is an hour atleast.
No fault of the staff at all its just sheer volume of people that can pack in to the place, the queue is unmanageable is a decent time
My wife and I went to see the Barbershop Chronicles which was very entertaining; my only negative would be that the seats aren't particularly comfortable and could do with some padding/replacing - I wouldn't have wanted to have sat in them much longer than the 90 minutes, that's for sure.
Seeming as the building is round, they really don t make the exiting the building an easy task. The merchandise store is in completely wrong location, so I ve often missed out on buying Merch I fancied because your forced down the stairs by the traffic of people. Sound system seems quite also, wish it had a dip towards the stage to allow for a better viewing experience. Saying that the venue does put a lot into supporting young artist which is something to be praised. I really hope they put more thought into customer experience as one of the only independent venues left in London.
Wonderfully versatile venue, the main space is both epic as well as intimate. We saw music concerts there and circus and cabaret. All great experiences. Good bar and food too.
Beautiful, iconic venue. Big outdoor terrace, multiple bars. Clockroom queue can be slow
Great venue which has a very nice feel to it
Saw barber shop chronicles and enjoyed it very much
Absolutely fantastic place great customer service very friendly staff
I've vowed never to see another gig here again. The sound is pure mud. My ears are finely tuned to hear bass (I play the bass) and you'll be lucky if you can hear anything beyond a low groan. I feel like the venue needs an audio overhaul I assume sound is getting lost in the dome. It's a shame.
Best venue in London... absolutely incredible acoustics
Old train warehouse converted into a concert hall. Impressive inside
Good location for gigs although I think the sound system isn't as good as other venues around London
