We went for Santa's grotto, we go every year as its just brilliant! So well done and the personalization of Santa's visit is second to non. The kids love their presents, they always get something fab! Well done Lesley and the Ross priory team!

My nephew and beautiful bride to be booked this venue for their wedding. Everything was perfect, from the location, the food and the staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to any couple. We had the ceremony outside More

Wonderful to visit my University's Golf & Country Club after all these years - just a bit too far away from home in the past - but a great place now to entertain friends - Strathclyde was a very special place always with real imagination & this period building is to die for. Please please!! all graduates use it & contribute what you can to make it even better. If I 'd known before they had their own private slip at the very edge of Loch Lomond I'd have bought something a little bit bigger than a dinghy with a tiny basic outboard.Their newly planned extension has cost thousands so let's support them. This club is not only for Lecturers & other Academics- it's for all of us.After all it was a slog for some of us to graduate.Lets help the Club prosper !!!

Sat here, finishing breakfast on our last day, after watching a very close friend getting married on the grounds, I am just gutted to be saying goodbye to this place, the place is gorgeous, the rooms lovely, the food unbelievably good, and the best part was the staff, so friendly and helpful, from the manager down to the cleaning lady, 5 stars in everything, some parts should get 6, they really were that good.

Loved the gardens. Beautiful view from my room. I stayed in an ensuite twin room with tea/coffee facilities and breakfast included. The wifi was good. The chef cooked me some nice fish and chips for dinner the night I arrived.Rate was really reasonable but payment is cash.

Played on this golf course with its magnificent views over Loch Lomond and beyond. Had lunch in the House afterwards. Good choice for lunch and bar food. All freshly made to order. Friendly and very helpful staff. Then took a walk around the grounds. The Rhododendrons were in full bloom; just beautiful. The walled garden is an oasis of calm with a covered area to sit and relax. Time spent at Ross Priory is very special..

Ross Priory is an excellent example of Gothic architecture, surrounded by beautiful gardens, excellent views of the Loch, and the club's golf course. The food is generally of high quality, and the renovations in the last decade make it a brilliant location for events and trips out of town.

Don't tell anyone what a pretty place this is. It is the private club of Strathclyde University, but non members can have lunch or dinner, rent a room or hold a wedding there. There a pretty shore line walks and it is very quiet.
