Rosewood Little Dix Bay Review

I didn't stay here but the couple of drinks i had on the beach felt like i was! really nice place to spend the afternoon. don't forget to swim with the turtles!

We stayed in one of the residences on the hill and I have to tell you it was one of the best vacations of my life. Little Dix Bay is phenomenal. The staff is quietly there to take care of your every need. The beaches are amazing and the water is unlike anywhere else I have ever been. The whole island was just quiet and perfect - no cruise ships here!

Rather go to another Rosewood resort! Security doesn't know how to do their jobs!!

Words cannot describe how Mike Hunt Loves Little Dix Bay

We had our honeymoon here 10 years ago and it was amazing. The rooms were perfect and just off the beach. We were young and poor back then so we didn't get to enjoy the restaurant or many of the activities but it was still an amazing vacation. Being the only hotel on this side of the island, it felt like a private oasis. Can't wait to get back.

5 Star Accommodations but 1 Star Service

Feb 1 thru Feb 7. Rooms and accommodations were very nice. Beds, pillow, sheets were great. The beach and the view awesome. The service was not! Our rooms were so new that there were no trash cans in the bathroom or room. We requested and it took 2 days for them to put them in the room. The website advertises 3 restaurants. Only 2 were open. Farm to table not open due to the garden was not ready. Website advertises they have scuba, sailing, etc. and they do not. The service in the restaurant was very poor. Could not even keep a water glass filled. Its seemed like no one was supervision. Food was very good, especially the lamb chops, the menu needs to be expanded if you are eating there for a whole week. The service on the beach was poor. We requested towels twice for over an hour and never received them, this happened multiple days. They have service buttons on the umbrellas on the beach and you push it and no one comes. Additional you would expect some live entertainment but there was none. I do not know if upper management understand the expectation that comes with the Rosewood name. Its not the Ritz. Not sure I would go back until it improves and then I would still be skeptical

this has long been a favorite of mine! i've vacationed here on 10 separate stays and appreciate the peace, tranquility and sophistication of the resort. the staff is extremely customer-centric. the food is wonderful. be sure to not miss the sunday night buffet - exceptional. take advantage of being dropped off by boat on a deserted beach (but with food, water, umbrella, etc). if you have lots of money, charter the empress '49 for 1 or 2 days -- great sailing. don't miss the baths -- interesting rock formations and a jet-like water experience on the beach. btw, the tennis courts and instructors

This was our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The resort was so secluded and beautiful. Everything from our entry on the ferry, to our golf cart ride to our room, to the daily room service, to our accessibility to the beach was just magical. The staff was friendly, everyone always said good morning and hello at all points of the day. The food was wonderful and we especially enjoyed the afternoon coffee and tea. The daily newspaper was fantastic. Even though we decided to unplug from our phones during this stay it was nice to be connected just a little bit. The daily resort updates were fabulous, that is the way we signed up for the sunset cruise. We especially enjoyed the fact that there are no cruise ships that dock here, that was a big selling point for our decision. The hiking trails were a great workout. The options for water activities and the ease of getting any of them was great. I would hope that during this closing time you do not try to change the resort too much. The beauty is in the "feel" that is provided to the guests. If it becomes very modern it might loose sight of that. We also loved that everything was open air. Eating every meal outside being from Chicago was so refreshing. The no key policy in the resort is fabulous, it allows for an interesting sense of ease and comfort with everyone staying at the resort.

Stayed here for my honeymoon. I can easily say that it was my favorite place I have ever stayed. The service was exemplary. I highly recommend staying in the Treehouses, the French toast, the shrimp burger, and a swim in the infinity pool!

We loved our stay at Little Dix and we've been saving our money to go back after the remodel. It truly is a magical place with the kindest staff around.

We will be back when Little Dix reopens. We appreciate the laid-back, no-glitz, quiet vibe. Food is excellent, beach is wonderful, but most important are the staff. Simply wonderful people. Our whole family looks forward to our annual visit.

Very lovely stay felt like home away from home. Area was very secluded and felt a sense of peace. Scenery very breathtaking and would definitely love to return in the future.
