Sunrise Civic Center Theatre Review

The civic center offers various programs for kids and adults. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They organize all the events very well.

Attended the Sunrise Comicon with the kids here and it was great. The kids had a good time. It was a bit underrated but the kids really enjoyed seeing their favorite superheros there and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

The Theater was beautiful. My only complaint is the spacing between seats.

This place is awesome with its great amenities - beautiful pool, ballroom, art room, etc. I took a First Aid/CPR course taught by a great instructor and had a great time. I hope to come back soon to use the pool.

Under going renovations made parking and navigating difficult

Clean comfortable settings. Great for concerts conferences banquets etc. Bathrooms were very clean too.

This theatre location seems meant for more intimate shows/plays and small gatherings. The parking is very adequate, and access to other facilities is very convenient.

There's a public pool, pool/game room, indoor basketball, concessions, amphitheatre, library as well as public service offices and more.

This place is awesome. So nicely kept and so much to do. One of our favorites!

Great place to view great art. It's amazing the talent we have here in the local area. I am certainly going to try to enroll and show some of my own works of art.

Great entertainment and fun in our back yard ...everyone in the city is fantastic

The manager on duty, Eric, was extremely helpful when I had a bad race. He was willing to compensate my race because of it and ensured the rest of my time there was better than I would have expected. I will definitely be back again. Thanks Sunrise Civic Center Theatre and Art Gallery!

Good seats. Good stage. Nice proximity for audience.

Went there for a Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Lots of parking spaces. The conference room was quit big and they provided the breakfast. The food was good... scramble eggs, homestyle potatoes, bacon, sausage links and patties. The restrooms were on main lobby just outside of the room. They could use an upgrade on the light fixtures. The chandelier in the conference room was very outdated like out of a 90's movie... but overall great place to host a corporate conference, meeting or even a small family event.

Always a nice place to visit, see a show, or look at some art. The pool area needs some TLC and updating.

Tunes and trucks is awesome. I should know I'm a level 5 local guide...

Currently under construction, so the game room, racquetball and other amenities are not all available. Should be fully functional in 2019. Gym, basketball courts, swimming and classes are still available

It is a nice clean environment, I took the school children there for the swimming lessons. They enjoyed themselves.

Nice place but the xmas light event is abit small compare to Los Olas Xmas event. Still worth checking out.

highly recommend this place, specially the pool area, the ballroom, the gym, the basketball court, and they also have a play area for the kids. Also I highly recommend the ballroom at the Sunrise Civic Center which is very classy, clean and not too expensive.

I truly enjoyed the Taste Of Sunrise. It was well organized and planned. The vendors had plenty of food and treated the attendees with their time and explanations of the food they offered. Thank you for making it a wonderful night out.

Great concert tonight. Wish there was more food trucks though. Lines were long and they were running out of food. Band was great!

Promotes a warm, family environment. Perfect spot for a small concert/performances. Very clean facility

Love the outdoor concerts here. Would have given 5 stars if they kept the bathrooms open, at least till the concert is over! NOT cool!!!

It's being built but it has always been a good place to experience. They a gym, indoor basketball court, pools and they always have activities

Excellent boot camp Tuesdays between 545pm-645pm! Get ready to sweat!

Pool , aquatic center is tops in the area , great for lessons and kids teams

Nice place to have an event like a wedding reception, the room can be divided into three and one room or two or all three can be used depending on the amount of people, 100 per room

The city of Sunrise civic center has wonderful events every week for its residents and they do their best to make you feel like family. For such a large sub city of Fort Lauderdale they give you the feel of small town friendliness. There are 2 pools, several theaters to accommodate different forms of entertainment at the same time and other activities that it's residents can participate in whether it's the elderly painting or the youngsters performing they have the ability to accommodate and they often do so so every lifestyle can do something they like at their civic center.

Awesome theater! I have seen several shows here and have performed on this stage many times. Ticket prices are better than most places and the theater personnel go out of their way to make sure both patrons and performers are well cared for. Inexpensive bar and snack bar - beverages usually permitted in the theater. For quality and price, this is my favorite performing arts center in South Florida.

My family and I took our children to a back to bash. They enjoyed themselves! We patronize the library there as well!

Attending for a water safety symposium, great space and great host for events

A nice venue to have a small show. The performers and the audience get a big experience in a small theater.

I attended two Nursing graduations at this location - spacious and gracious. It was enough room for all the families and friends. Great outdoor area for taking pictures or getting in a wall. The staff was friendly and cortesy

Food trucks every month with a concert. This is done 8 months every year and the ambiance is pretty cool. Food, ice cream and concert with cover bands. A lot of locals and neighbors alike.

Staff was helpful, the place was properly maintained.
