Love it! Excellent food always. The staff make you feel welcome. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night do expect to have a wait.

View from the patio is outstanding. We had a burger and lake perch. Both were delicious.

Perfect place for a work lunch party. We had a group of about 8 and we had made reservations so they seated us quickly and we started off with their famous homemade chips. I ordered a sandwich that was both filling and delicious. Everyone at the table was pleased with their entrees. The service was great and we will certainly return. The only caveat is that parking can be difficult.

The food was ok. However, the dish was drenched in sauce so it was pretty much all sauce.

I enjoy Rose's for the view and tasty food, but for the price point I should have been blown away at least once by their food, but have yet to be overly impressed. Service is always slower than one may like and never incredibly friendly. They're just there to do the job and that's it. Often it is very busy, which could explain the slow service.

The food was alright, a bit bland, but my drink was well made and the peanut butter pie was sooo good! But what made this a five-star visit for me was the customer service. I would like to give a shout out to Katie (I hope I m spelling her name right). She was beyond amazing! Fantastic customer service, she was very nice and had such a great energy. It was great meeting you and thank you again for the wonderful service!

Every time we come here, we have great service. Usually busy, but not bad getting a drink at the bar or waiting near the patio. Food is great, we usually get the specials and those have all been home runs! Great spot for family dinners and celebrations!

Enjoyable time dining on outside patio. Spent a afternoon with family. We were a party of four. I had their Ceasar salad and was very pleased at the portion. The warm bread they bring is simply amazing. My husband had their steak and loved every flavorful bite. His sister had the chichen salad and said it tasted very fresh. Her husband had the special pizza of the day and was very happy with his selection. We had prompt service and very friendly staff. Will be back very soon.

Not the place to eat when the wait staff is being trained on new computer software during dinner hours. Hint....if you are changing software, train the staff off servicing hours and before it is loaded on the system. Disappointing experience. Not sure I will return. Booth seating seemed tight as the folks sitting behind moved the back of my seat as they sat and interacted. I would request a table.

We had a great meal! Very good wine list, and unique and creative dishes. Healthy options, too! We love this place and will be back often.

Great experience with my family on my birthday yesterday. We had my nieces year and a half old with us and I was impressed by the whole staff on how they treated her and our entire family. Beautiful setting on a gorgeous evening. The ambiance, service and food was truly awesome. Great job by Jennifer, also.

Interesting place. Upscale. Limited menu. I just had three wrong thing: Angel Hair pasta. Not much pasta..... very thin sauce.... overcooked chicken came with it.... maybe from yesterday.....$18. I wouldn't order that dish again. Veggie wrap looked good, as did the Reuben. Will try again.... nice atmosphere... porch and outdoor seating available in good weather.

Took quite a while to get service but the food and atmosphere was great.

Went on a date with my wife and we are never disappointed. Wife got the chicken and I got the fish tacos. Both were amazing. Especially the fish tacos. Appreciate that the fish tacos are gluten free which is hard to come by. Great sauce. Thanks for a great evening.

Excellent service. Had the grilled tuna and I can recommend it. The exterior section is excellent to spend time in the summer.

I wouldn't say the food is the best I've had, but I've only had the opportunity to try the Ahi sandwich and the turkey burger. They're both quite sizable portions, juicy, and filing, but I find the turkey burger to be a little on the sweet side due to the copious amounts of sun-dried tomatoes. The homemade chips are a good contrast but some of them actually had a sweet flavor, which I rather enjoyed. I ended up wanting dried apple chips to compliment the burger and pasta salad.

That said, the service was excellent and the view on the dock was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend coming here on a warm night out.
A little warning, however, as price wise it doesn't qualify as a single-dollar categorization. The turkey burger was nearly 15, ahi sandwich was 11, martini was about 9 and Mac and cheese was 16 (to its credit, packed a complex recipe description).

I will definitely come here again to try some of the other dishes. Lovely place and atmosphere.

The location is great but the food is just ok. I don't think it's a good value for your food and drinks unless it's the location that's your reason for visiting.

We stopped at Rose's on our way to Lake Michigan. It was every bit as good as the reviews we read. The food was delicious, service was great and we sat on the dock by the water. We will definitely go back when we're in Grand Rapids. We would highly recommend stopping at Rose's. The park adjacent to Rose's is beautiful, too. It was a great half way stop for us traveling from the east side of Michigan to Lake Michigan.

Went in for the pot roast (to go) because I had tried it a few weeks ago and it was delicious. Upon getting there, the man forgot to give me the bread and oil that is promised with my meal. Then when it came down to it, I got three measly pieces of bread after I had to ask. Then once I got home to eat, I realize that they have give me the absolute smallest portion of mashed potatoes possible. So little that they have all but dissolved into the Jus from the roast. No spices in my oil, lack of bread and complete lack of mashed potatoes. Disappointing.

Very cool old snack stand turned into a marina slash restaurant. The outdoor seating area is the place to go...obviously season will dictate but I was here Oct 8th 2017 and it was 80 degrees and the breeze of the water felt great. I noticed other restaurants closed outdoor seating based on a regular set schedule seems like Oct 1st is the set date but this place was open for outdoor seating... Great menu and right next to the park. Makes a day in the park complete with dinner at the end on the lake with drinks.

It is always a delight to eat here. The setting is gorgeous. The food is delicious. They have a good selection of adult beverages as well. If they had coke it would be perfect.

Always an enjoyable experience at this restaurant. It s out of the way from downtown and the lake setting is nice. Menu has nice variety and I think they finally updated it after a while of the same selection. The only issue is that due to the popularity you basically always have to plan on at least a 30 minute wait and they don t accept reservations.

You can't go wrong with this place. Especially in the warm part of the year. Lake views and great food.

By far the worst place we've ever dined at, would not recommend. We came at 830p, it was steady and we sat at a decent time, but it went down hill from there. From the get go, it was subpar compared to the previous reviews. The drinks were costly and disappointing (poorly made Cosmo, with huge lime slice verse lemon twist) then we ordered dinner to find out they 86'd it well after our order was placed which delay service nearly an hour. We inquired several times about service i.e drinks and food with an insincere "hopefully not to much longer, thanks for your patience on this drink or this item...."

I requested bread at time of our dinner order, and a second time 20 minutes later, she served our dinner approximately 6 minutes after 2nd request and asked if we really wanted the bread?!

Dinner: I ordered a salad and got no greens- seriously it was a pile of grains, corn and onion that 3 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide. My husband ended up ordering the Pork since the Beef was sold out. Now, I'm well versed in high-quality food, I've worked in fine dining during my college years so when asked what temperature we wanted our pork at I said on the well side as it can be dangerous for food-bourne Illness but what we received was at best: medium to medium rare so he didnt consume much of his meal.
By the time she rounded to us again, we were ready to go and requested our bill. We noted our disatisfaction. If you are looking for a fine dining experience this is NOT the place.

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 10 years, it stands the test of time and we will continue to return!

Easy parking on a Saturday night. Great food and drinks, speedy service. Prices seemed typical of East Town/downtown GR restaurants.

I had the pork tenderloin which was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

I loved the ambiance and the views of the lake are beautiful. The service was good I was just not that impressed with the food, it wasn t bad I guess I just had higher expectations. I might comeback but give it a try for yourself.

Dined here for the first time with bfs family. Upon arrival we got greeted by a valet and have our car valet cuz there were no spot at the lot and it's free to Vaket. The food is ok but the view is pretty and totally worth a visiting. When we went out to get our car we saw a hammered customer trying to fight the valet. We have a 4 years old with us and it's just not a good scene for a toddler to see. The valet went get our car and the customer still kept following him back to the lot and try to have physical contact with him " IN FRONT OF OUR TODDLER" I thought this is a place where people with class dine not some mediocre bar with mean drunks hanging around. That ruined everything for us.

We love coming here for either lunch or dinner. The food is fantastic and the drink selections are on par with any of the top restaurants downtown. I definitely recommend sitting out back and taking advantage of the incredible views of Reed's Lake while sipping your cocktails.

The hostess/owner yelled at my husband about where to sit and was very rude.

I have never been more disappointed with a Gilmore collection restaurant. The service was mediocre at best the food was a disappointment. It was undercooked and greasy. The flavor profile was off on three of our four dinners. The cooks could use some help from the roses express where they have never disappointed.

Went here for my sisters birthday and we had a great time! They have a good gluten free options. And the food was soo good! Would definitely go there again!

One of my most favorite places to go especially in the summertime! The chips are a must!!! The wood-fire pizza is amazing and the popcorn at the end is simply icing on the cake!!!
